Trump's Penis Is Fair Game-- Albeit More Like A Squirrel Or Rabbit Than And Elephant Or Elk

>

-by Anonymous (Who the hell would want one’s name attached to this article?)

Since Trump takes the low road all of the time, Stormy is the perfect person to play his game. I say, “Go Stormy!” Stormy is coming out with a book, Full Disclosure, and some excerpts are showing up in the media. Stormy has provided a concise description of Trump’s penis and it isn’t pretty. (Although I would have to ask, would anyone actually use the word “pretty” to describe a penis?) [Obviously "Anonymous" is a straight male.]

As the age-old slogan in that old Wendy’s ad went, “Where’s the Beef?” Well, here’s the beef:
He knows he has an unusual penis. It has a huge mushroom head. Like a toadstool… I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart ... It may have been the least impressive sex I’d ever had, but clearly, he didn’t share that opinion.

In yesterday’s Hullabaloo, Digby writes:

There were many low points of the 2016 campaign but this was one of the lowest.

Stormy Daniels has written a new tell-all which explains why Trump felt the necessity to reassure the country that his equipment was adequate to the task of being the sexual assaulter in chief.

She (Stormy) describes Trump's penis as "smaller than average" but "not freakishly small."

"He knows he has an unusual penis," Daniels writes.

"It may have been the least impressive sex I'd ever had, but clearly, he didn't share that opinion."

I wouldn't normally discuss the presidential penis but he is the one who brought it up.

On national television.
There have been reactions that go with the “ewww factor” of Stormy’s revelations, such as in today’s Salon by Matthew Rozsa.

Stormy Daniels and Trump’s “endowment”: Why do we even care?
Let's talk for a moment about President Donald Trump's penis. Trust me, that's not a sentence I ever wanted to write. It is a sentence that I hope you never wanted to read. But considering that this is the same man who bragged about the size of his genitals during a Republican presidential debate way back in 2016, the topic was already in the political Zeitgeist even before anyone came forward to discuss having actually seen or otherwise experienced the member in question.
Rozsa then asks whether it is ok to be discussing Trump’s penis and concludes that it is should not be.

First of all, he resents her visuals.
For one thing, I happen to be a fan of Mario Kart, and now the character of Toad (i.e., "the mushroom character in Mario Kart") has been forever ruined for people who want to indulge in that innocent pastime. The same thing is true for Yetis; I never imagined them as having fur like pubic hair, but now that thought is burned into my brain.
Rozsa then offers reasons why such a discussion should not be taking place. To summarize, he doubts that the correct way to respond to bullying is by further bullying, and he suspects that the President will respond by exacerbating and elevating his machismo rather than by promoting a more enlightened discussion. Well, yeah!!

I am fed up with “let’s take the high road” when this has been getting us nowhere. I for one cheer that Stormy is exposing (ha ha) some extremely embarrassing details about the Orangeman. Whereas he generally has shown absolutely no shame about anything, this will undoubtedly embarrass him. Good, I say! He deserves it. He is the scum of the earth and Stormy is dishing out what he has been dishing out to the American people for almost two years.

Let’s take a look at a recent article in The Guardian, which differs from Rozsa’s point of view and is an excellent piece in support of Daniels’ expose. Is it acceptable to laugh at Donald Trump’s mushroom?
Any guilt over enjoying Stormy Daniels’s revelation should be weighed against how Trump’s policies hurt women.
I see Stormy Daniels has a book out and everyone’s talking about a certain aesthetic judgment she makes. Is this really where we are now: judging how penises look? James, by email

Yes. So, for anyone who has been living under a rock for the past 36 hours, Daniels has indeed written a book in which she describes the president’s penis as “smaller than average … like the mushroom character in Mario Kart”. Try to enjoy your Nintendo Switch now, people.

Is it right that the world is now laughing at his penis? Well, given that Trump made a fortune from Miss America, which is all about reducing women to their various anatomical parts and judging them accordingly, this all feels like a rather pleasing O Henry story. No Mr. America crown for you, Mr. President. Only men with penises shaped like Luigi get that accolade. And there is some poetic justice in the world now laughing at Trump’s penis when he is currently trying to get Brett Kavanaugh on to the supreme court, primarily--as far as I can tell-- to overturn Roe v Wade. You want to control women’s vaginas, Donald? We’ll laugh at your penis. Men are afraid that women will laugh at them and women are afraid that men will kill them, as the Margaret Atwood quote goes. And given that banning abortion, as Trump wishes to do, will end up costing women’s lives, it seems fair enough that we get to laugh at him. It’s not exactly a quid pro quo, but it will do.

Shall I go further? I think I shall: when I hear men-- a gender that has spent the past, oh, several millennia, explicitly discussing the appearance of women’s breasts, butts, legs, etc-- suddenly affecting horror at the idea of a woman laughing at a man’s penis, well, I hear a certain music on the wind, and that music is a tune played by the world’s smallest violin. (Any man who wishes to write in with a #notallmen-type complaint is welcome to write it down on a piece of paper, roll it up tight and stick it in any aperture on his anatomy where the sun does not shine.)

Much has been written about Daniels’s refusal to be shamed. But what is really remarkable about her is how she’s turned the whole narrative around. Not only will she not be humiliated-- she will humiliate him. And why not, damn it? She wasn’t the married one. She is not the one with the power to ruin women’s lives by banning global abortion funding and defunding Planned Parenthood while having bragged in the past how, when you’re a star, you can grab women “by the pussy.” He is. While we may well live in a post-shame era, Daniels knows how to hurt Trump. And given how much Trump is hurting women, I think this is one instance in which we can indulge in some guiltless body-shaming. Go get him, Stormy.
Besides, let’s look at some relevant history here. The Republicans were FINE with dishing out all kinds of disgusting dirt about Bill Clinton, and descriptions of Bill’s penis were out there circulating at the time of his impeachment.

This is from the May 2016 right-wing Daily Caller: ALLEGED MISTRESS: BILL CLINTON IS HUNG LIKE A CHILD
Former Miss Arkansas Sally Miller-- allegedly once President Bill Clinton’s mistress-- wrote this week that the former president’s manhood “performed well but, it was a little-boy penis that just never quite–grew-up.”

This March 2016 article in the New Republic is an excellent summary of our country’s penis history (yikes!), with a description of Clinton’s own. I have included a take on Lyndon Johnson, which is rather disgusting, although the whole topic is disgusting: The Presidential Penis: A Short History
An obsession with the president's phallus is a feature of American history long pre-dating Donald Trump.

By Jeet Heer

Lyndon Johnson was always eager to let those around him know that he had an unusually large penis. Reviewing a biography of Johnson in the New York Review of Books, historian Marshall Frady noted:

He early became fabled for a Rabelaisian earthiness, urinating in the parking lot of the House Office Building as the urge took him; if a colleague came into a Capitol bathroom as he was finishing at the urinal there, he would sometimes swing around still holding his member, which he liked to call “Jumbo,” hooting once, “Have you ever seen anything as big as this?,” and shaking it in almost a brandishing manner as he began discoursing about some pending legislation. At the same time, he would oblige aides to take dictation standing in the door of his office bathroom while he went about emptying his bowels, as if in some alpha-male ritual assertion of his primacy. Even on the floors of the House and Senate, he would extravagantly rummage away at his groin, sometimes reaching his hand through a pocket and leaning with half-lifted leg for more thorough access.

Thanks to various sex scandals, we have detailed descriptions of Bill Clinton’s penis. According to Robert Bennet, Clinton’s lawyer in the Paula Jones case, “In terms of size, shape, direction, whatever the devious mind wants to concoct, the president is a normal man. There are no blemishes, there are no moles, there are no growths.” The Independent offered a more prosaic account: “His erect penis is about five inches long, has the circumference of a quarter ... and heads off at an angle, presumably rather like a finger bent at the joint.”
Has anyone heard of Peyronies disease? Bent dick disease is a real thing and there are even commercials about it.
…Powerful men like Bill Clinton apparently suffer from it, as we learned in the Paula Jones case, in which she was able to describe distinguishing characteristics of Clinton’s penis-- specifically, Peyronie’s disease-- which was backed up by former Clinton mistresses, as well as apparently his medical exams.
And for the grand finale:

Here is the coup d’état of penis stories that relate to current politics: Brett Kavanaugh’s no holds barred deep dive into this low level, lurid, topic regarding Bill Clinton, when he was an assistant to Ken Starr. Another stunning example of why Brett should NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES be given the honor of Supreme Court justice. His character, to put it simply, sucks.

In last month’s Washington Post:
Kavanaugh wrote a memo in 1998 that was a bit harsh even for many of his colleagues, because whereas some of them didn't want to know every single dirty detail about Bill Clinton's penis, Kavanaugh wanted to dive onto that dick head first. He was Hungry Hungry Hippos, for knowledge of Bill Clinton's dick! Clinton's dick was the all you can eat buffet at Ryan's Family Steakhouse, and Brett Kavanaugh was there for the Early Bird Special! If Brett Kavanaugh was stranded in the desert, sexxxy knowledge about Bill Clinton's dick was the oasis Kavanaugh would hallucinate about one million times, and he would exclaim, "I have found the Fountain Of Bill Clinton's Dick! Verily, we will no longer starve in the desert!" (And then he would die in the desert, we guess, because Clinton's dick was just a thirsty fantasy.)
Here are more details on Brett Kavanaugh’s role in Bill Clinton’s impeachment.
The National Archives has begun the release of documents pertaining to the previous government service of Brett Kavanaugh, Really Great Guy and nominee for the Supreme Court. As we have been told, over and over again, Kavanaugh doesn't much approve of the idea of independent counsels and their ability to make presidents uncomfortable. This, of course, despite the fact that Kavanaugh was intimately involved in the Great Penis Hunt of 1998 on behalf of special counsel Kenneth Starr.

Boy howdy, was Kavanaugh intimately involved. One might even say he was intimately involved intimately. From the Washington Post:

The memo was written Aug. 15 to Starr and “All Attorneys,” with the subject line: “Slack for the President?” It was Kavanaugh advice for the type of questioning for Clinton that would occur by Starr’s associates, who were trying to determine whether the president had committed perjury in a civil suit. “After reflecting this evening, I am strongly opposed to giving the President any ‘break’ in the questioning regarding the details of the Lewinsky relationship” unless he “resigns” or “confesses perjury,” Kavanaugh wrote, continuing: “He has required the urgent attention of the courts and the Supreme Court for frivolous privilege claims — all to cover up his oral sex from an intern. He has lied to his aides. He has lied to the American people. He has tried to disgrace you and the Office with As should be obvious, Kavanaugh, as Really Nice Guys will, pushed very hard to include in the record certain details:
If Monica Lewinsky said you masturbated into a trash can in your secretary's office, would she be lying?
If Monica Lewinsky said you ejaculated into her mouth on two occasions in the Oval Office area, would she be lying?
If Monica Lewinsky says that you inserted a cigar into her vagina while you were in the Oval Office area, would she be lying?
If Monica Lewinsky says that on several occasions you had her give her oral sex, made her stop, and then ejaculated into the sink in the bathroom off the Oval Office, would she be lying?
Christamighty, it's a good thing he's a Really Nice Guy, or else I'd think he was a bed-sniffing hypocrite and a sanctimonious yahoo who's spent his entire career as a Republican hack.
Go Stormy!

Let Me Make Your Day

>

The 6 women in this focus group are all from swing states and all voted for Trump. Most would do it again... although half say they are disappointed. They all say they want to use the midterms to "send a message." Take a look. One thing for sure, this sure doesn't sound like part of any wave. But, keep in mind they were all Trump voters in 2016.

This morning Axios launched an idea for how they plan to measure the upcoming wave. Their premise is flawed, though, because they use the silly conventional wisdom that there's a blue wave. No one gives a shot about the shitty Democratic Party which is-- at best-- somewhat better than the Republican Party. If there's a wave-- and I am certain there is, it's an anti-red wave, not a blue wave. And they're not the same. A blue wave would mean enthusiasm for Democrats. The DCCC has made sure that would be impossible by recruiting a big bag of shit for candidates. Pelosi is killing whatever hope there could be for a progressive agenda by boasting she will institute PAYGO in January. An anti-red wave is just the widely shared certainty that Trump is not up to the job and that the congressional Republicans have no intention of checking him. That's what will sweep lots of Democraps into Congress.

Axios picked 8 races to watch to measure the non-existent blue wave. "If it's a truly strong wave," wrote Alexi McCammond, "we'll know not just from the high-profile races, but from lesser-known ones that would only be competitive if Democrats are winning everywhere." She then immediately offers one of the most high-profile races in the cycle as the first example: Beto vs Cruz in the Texas Senate contest.
2. Ohio gubernatorial: Democrat Richard Cordray and Republican Mike DeWine are fighting to replace Gov. John Kasich. The last time Ohio elected a Democratic governor was in 2006. But Kyle Kondik of Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball notes: "If Democrats are winning Ohio’s governorship they probably are winning at least 4-5 of the 6 Midwest governorships at play (maybe all 6)."

3. West Virginia's 3rd district: Trump won the district by 30 points, but Democrat Richard Ojeda is getting a lot of national attention in the race for this open seat. He’s redefining the West Virginia Democrat: he voted for Trump in 2016, he's pro-labor, pro-gun, and has the backing of the coal miners. The RealClearPolitics polling average suggests he's in a tight race with Republican Carol Miller.

4. California's 45th district: This seat is held by Republican Rep. Mimi Walters, and she's facing Democrat Katie Porter. Orange County is becoming increasingly diverse, and the number of registered Republican voters has consistently declined. If Democrats pull off a win here, Kondik says, it means they'll do well across Southern California, picking up crucial Republican-held seats in districts Hillary Clinton won.

5. Minnesota's 8th district: It's considered one of the Democrats' most at-risk seats this cycle. The incumbent, Democratic Rep. Rick Nolan, is retiring. Democrats have held this district for years, and Barack Obama won it twice-- but it swung from Obama +6 in 2012 to Trump +15 in 2016. Democrat Joe Radinovich, a former state legislator and labor organizer, is facing Republican Pete Stauber, a county commissioner.

6. Texas' 23rd district: Incumbent Republican Rep. Will Hurd, a former CIA agent, faces Democrat Gina Ortiz Jones-- a Filipina-American, a member of the LGBTQ community and an Iraq war veteran. This district contains one-third of the U.S./Mexico border, has the second-highest population of DACA recipients, and has urban, rural, and suburban areas. Hurd has distanced himself from Trump.

7. Florida's 26th district: Health care is a big issue here, and it'll be a test of whether a moderate Republican in the Trump era can hold on to a largely Hispanic district. Many see incumbent Rep. Carlos Curbelo as one of the best-positioned Republicans in Clinton-won districts. But voters looking for something new could hand a surprise upset to Democrat Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, a Latina immigrant.

8. Iowa's 3rd district: It's held by Republican Rep. David Young, who Kyle Kondik of Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball calls "an accidental incumbent." He was selected to run at a convention in Iowa in 2014 after getting less than 35% of the vote in the primary. If Democrat Cindy Axne wins here, Kondik says, that probably means they'll win Iowa's 1st district, held by vulnerable GOP Rep. Rod Blum, too.

The bottom line: If Democrats lose any of the above races, that doesn't mean they'll lose their chance to take back the House. But the more of these races they win, the more likely it is that the House and state offices will change hands-- and even the Senate might not be out of the question.
You want to know if the anti-red wave is massive? Forget this stuff (except the Texas Senate contest). If Democrats win these contests, all actual and reasonable possibilities, the GOP is WIPED OUT:

Goal Thermometer1- Former baseball player JD Scholten is within the margin of error against Steve King in Iowa's reddest district and momentum shows he's got a 50-50 chance right now.

2- Former rock dj Dayna Steele is running a competitive race against former dentist Brian Babin in one of Texas' reddest districts. The DCCC doesn't know anything about it but she's making this a bona fide two-party district.

3- Ammar Campa-Najjar (CA-50) and Nate McMurray (NY-27) are both running in red districts with R+11 PVIs. A Democrat win in a couple of seats that red? Impossible? Both Republicans have been indicted for serious criminal activities. Campa-Najjar has climbed into a statistical dead heat with Drunken Hunter and Nate McMurray is also surging now that the GOP has announced they're keeping incumbent Chris Collins on the ballot.

4- If far right sociopath Chris McDaniel (R) beats mainstream conservative Cindy Hyde-Smith (R) and winds up in the general with Democrat Mike Espy, a former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, polls show Mississippi will elect a Democrat the the U.S. Senate. The last time Mississippi elected a non-incumbent Democrat to the Senate was in 1947. How old were your parents in 1947?

5- Gil Cisneros, a conservative Republican potato chip taster who won the lottery and is now a multimillionaire-- and claiming to be a Democrat-- was shoe-horned by the DCCC into CA-39, a district far from where he lives. He's probably their least viable candidate but they wanted to stay on his good side so he'd keep sending them money. He's the least-likely-to-win Democratic challenger in southern California. If he does win-- and if the wave is big enough, he will-- say kaddish for the California Republican Party.

6- The Wisconsin "trifecta +": a clean sweep-- Tony Evers beats Scott Walker, Tammy Baldwin beats Leah Vukmir, Randy Bryce beats Ryan-clone Brian Steil-- and the + part: The Democrats take back the state Senate by holding onto Caleb Frostman special election win on the Door Peninsula (SD-1) and taking 2 GOP seats where more Dems voted than Republicans in the primaries-- Kriss Marion beating Howard Marklein (SD-17) and Lee Snodgrass beating Roger Roth (SD-19).

7- Kansas flips when 2 progressives, Jim Thompson and Sharice Davids, plus a Blue Dog (Paul Davis), all win, switching the state House delegation from 4 Republicans and no Democrats, to 3 Democrats and 1 Republican. Could it happen? It's a damn shame that the DCCC got that Blue Dog the nomination for the eastern part of the state.

8- And in the Senate contests, Democrats hold all their seats and win in Arizona, Nevada, Tennessee and Texas, giving McConnell a fatal heart attack in Louisville's Pickle Park in the wee hours of November 6 and then John Yamuth wins the special election, giving the Democrats a 54-46 majority.

If those 8 things happen, you won't just know there's a wave, well, a tsunami to be more precise... Trump will be asking Putin for political asylum; take my word for it.

Now, how about something a little less serious... a little more lighthearted? Trump has a funny dick, that looks "Like a toadstool… I lay there," wrote former sex-worker and Trump paramour Stormy Daniels, "annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart… It may have been the least impressive sex I’d ever had, but clearly he didn’t share that opinion."

Politically, We're Still Far From The Public Accepting Impeachment For Trumpanzee

>

Polls show that most Americans know Trump's a liar. Revelations of more lies-- daily revelations of more lies-- isn't going to change anything. That he's a dishonest asshole is baked into the cake. It looks like Señor T was partially correct when he said he could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and not lose any voters. "Any voters?" Wrong. He won't lose the obsessed racists and willing fascists. In reality, though, he has lost voters.

A new Ipsos poll for Reuters found that union members who voted for Trump in greater numbers than for Hillary have been abandoning him. His support among union members is down by 15 points in the last year-- now at 47% from a high of 62%. Union members put Trump over the top in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. That wouldn't happen again if the election was held today. Many union members who vote dfor Trump in 2016 have buyer’s remorse and plan to take it out on Republicans in November. Reuters quoted a 37 year factory worker in Dubuque: "Trump is for the rich. [Republican Congressman] Blum’s for big business. They said they were for the workers, but they’re not."
That sentiment should encourage Democrats, who saw their once-reliable labor vote help send Trump to the White House after he vowed to revive Rust Belt factories with trade tariffs and ailing coal mines with environmental deregulation. Now-- with coal still struggling and Trump stoking a trade war-- many union workers have soured on the president ahead of November’s midterm congressional elections, the Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll shows.

...A loose coalition of union leaders, Democratic strategists and political action committees (PACs) aims to seize on that shift by directing money and campaign workers to about 30 competitive races in union-heavy districts. The party needs to gain 23 seats to retake the U.S. House of Representatives... Democratic strategists are targeting blue-collar enclaves of the Midwest, along with districts covering California farmlands, New York industry towns and Montana wilderness. They aim to trash the Republican tax cut, along with Trump’s failure to back a minimum wage and his attempt to repeal Obamacare.

...In interviews with Reuters, union members criticized the tax cut, along with Republican moves in some states-- including Iowa-- to curtail collective bargaining by public employees. And while Trump’s tough trade talk attracted many union workers to his campaign, some now worry his policies may protect some blue-collar jobs at the expense of others. Trump’s steel tariffs, for instance, could raise prices for the raw material used in factories supporting union jobs.

Reuters/Ipsos polling data shows union workers now view Democrats more favorably on key issues such as healthcare, the economy and taxes.

The percentage of union members who favored Democratic stances on health care, for instance, rose 7 points to 42 percent since March 2017, compared with 29 percent favoring Republicans. Democrats saw similar gains on taxes, jobs and the economy.

Ken Jones, a retired mechanic and Teamster union member, backed Trump because he believed Clinton was “crooked”-- borrowing Trump’s signature insult-- and that Trump might curtail illegal immigration, create jobs and fix Obamacare.

“Now I see he’s not going to do anything,” said Jones, of Oklahoma, who plans to vote Democratic this fall. “The working man don’t get nothing out of it. I never voted Republican until Trump, and it was the worst mistake I ever made.”

Pew released a new post simultaneously-- with some good news for Trump and some bad news.
A majority of Americans find little or no common ground with Donald Trump on issues, but the share who say they agree with him on many or all issues has risen since last August. The public’s assessment of Trump’s conduct as president is little changed over the past nine months, with 54% saying they don’t like the way he conducts himself as president.

Currently, 41% of the public agrees with Trump on “all or nearly all” or many of the issues facing the country, while 57% agree with him on just a few issues or virtually none. In August, just 33% said they agreed with Trump on many or all issues.
Ethics, of course, is a weak point for Trump and his whole regime. In Congress it's another story, a very partisan one. Republicans are sticking with Trump like flies to dog shit. Members of Congress don't care about ethics at all unless someone is caught. Interestingly enough, over the weekend a Fairbanks newspaper reported that Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) warned Trump to keep his mitts off the Mueller investigation. This is particularly important because House Republicans are expected to impeach Rod Rosenstein this week. It will just take a couple of Senate Republicans to throw it out and with Murkowski's statement, it's likely she'll be one of them.
"I have said all along that Mueller should be allowed to take this investigation wherever it takes him and his team," she said. "And I said that at the beginning and I repeat that, because I believe very, very firmly in that. And I think any efforts to thwart that are dangerous.

"If the investigation takes them to an additional turn that needs to be followed, I think this is what we're asking for when we ask for an independent investigation," she said. "That means that the president can't meddle. That means that the attorney general can't meddle. That means that the United States Senate can't meddle, and I just firmly believe that they should be able to take it where it goes."

..."I do not subscribe that this is some kind of a witch hunt," she said, referring to President Donald Trump's oft-repeated criticism of the special counsel inquiry into alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election and that now appears to have spread to other matters involving Trump and his associates.

Reports regularly surface that Trump is highly frustrated by the investigation and that some of his supporters are urging Mueller's firing.

The Senate Judiciary Committee last week, in a bipartisan vote, approved a bill that would provide for judicial review of a president's firing of a special counsel. The counsel would have, under the proposal, 10 days to seek an expedited review of his or her firing. The bill also would require the attorney general to report to Congress if a special counsel is fired or appointed and to provide Congress with details if the scope of the investigation changes.

Murkowski said she is inclined to support the bill if it reaches the Senate floor.

"I have had good discussion with colleagues about this legislation," Murkowski said. "So I have said that I would consider supporting it, and based on what passed out of committee, if it comes to the floor, unless something changes I'm prepared to support it."

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said, however, that he will not allow the bill to proceed, citing constitutional concerns about encroaching on executive branch authority.

Murkowski also defended the FBI's work on the Russia investigation. The agency has been a frequent target of Trump, who only last week in a Fox News interview said, "And you look at the corruption at the top of the FBI, it's a disgrace. And our Justice Department, which I try and stay away from, but at some point, I won't."

Who Gets Disbarred First-- Rudy Giuliani Or Michael Cohen?

>

A new friend introduced me to an even newer friend, someone writes one-liners. He's done 'em for Bill Clinton, as well as Carville and Begala back in the day and since them has written them for current members of Congress. He wanted to have dinner because he's interested in writing them-- as well as ads-- for some of the Blue America candidates. We went to a great L.A. restaurant that I had never tried before, Da Pasquale. The food was so good-- and the conversation even better. In fact, back in the '60s we knew all the same people-- even Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. I never meet anyone my age who knew them at the same time I did. And he knew less celebrity-ish friends of mine like Danny Fields. Sandy Pearlman and Richard Meltzer. It was like a reunion. So much so that the military couple at the next table got all excited and joined in. They're from Rochester and were just back from a stint in Jordan and when I told them Louise Slaughter had passed away while they were gone, they were grief-stricken. Anyway, while all this was going on, I got 4 phone calls. I hate taking phone calls while I'm at dinner but these were all people I always take calls from.

It turns out, though, I only needed to take the first. call. They were all basically the same call-- Giuliani was on Fox contradicting Trump about the Stormy Daniels love affair and the law suit. My friend Russ-- one of the smartest people I've ever met in my life-- said he doubted Giuliani would last 'til the end of the month. One of the calls also said mentioned that Giuliani told Hannity that Kushner-in-law is "disposable."

Do you wonder how people in other countries are interpreting this latest Trumpanzee kerfuffle? Yesterday the BBC reported Señor T said his crazy new lawyer will "get his facts straight" about a legal case involving claims of an affair with a porn star... eventually and that he's new to the job and "wasn't familiar with everything." The BBC pointed out that Trumpanzee hadn't specified what Giuliani got wrong. Trump told reporters Guiliani is "special," a word used in New York, where both are from to mean slow-witted. "He'll get his facts straight," said Trumpy-the-clown. "We're not changing any stories."

PolitiFact put out a whole page on the timeline of the shifting explanations of Trump's affair with the porn star/prostitute. They start by reminding their readers that Señor Trumpanzee and his henchmen repeatedly denied that Trump had a relationship with Stormy in 2006 and implied that Trump knew nothing about Cohn giving her $130,000 in hush money just before the 2016 election. The timeline:
Nov. 4, 2016: Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks denies affair

Hicks told the Wall Street Journal it was "absolutely, unequivocally" false that Trump and Daniels had had a relationship.

Jan. 12, 2018: White House, Michael Cohen deny affair

The Wall Street Journal revealed that longtime Trump attorney Michael Cohen arranged for Daniels to receive $130,000 in exchange for her silence. The report quoted an unnamed White House official as saying, "These are old, recycled reports, which were published and strongly denied prior to the election."

That same day, Cohen issued a statement on Trump’s behalf denying the affair. The statement did not address the payment, however.

"President Trump once again vehemently denies any such occurrence as has Ms. Daniels. This is now the second time that you are raising outlandish allegations against my client," Cohen told the Journal. "You have attempted to perpetuate this false narrative for over a year; a narrative that has been consistently denied by all parties since at least 2011."

Separately, Cohen provided a statement-- ostensibly from Daniels-- denying the affair. Here’s how it appeared in the Journal:
"Mr. Cohen also sent a two-paragraph statement by email addressed "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN" and signed by "Stormy Daniels" denying that she had a "sexual and/or romantic affair" with Mr. Trump.

"Rumors that I have received hush money from Donald Trump are completely false," the statement said.
Daniels has also contradicted herself about whether an affair occurred. However, she has recanted statements she’d made denying the affair, claiming she only signed a denial because Cohen "made it sound like I had no choice."

Jan. 18, 2018: White House: Questions about Daniels ‘asked and answered’

Deputy press secretary Raj Shah told reporters aboard Air Force One that questions about the affair and the settlement agreement had been "asked and answered" during the campaign even though reports of the hush money deal did not emerge until more than a year after the election. Here’s the relevant portion from the press gaggle:
Reporter: "This is an issue that hasn’t really gotten much attention amidst everything else, but nonetheless, this woman named Stephanie Clifford, goes by the name ‘Stormy Daniels,’ she says that she had an affair with the president. She spoke on record about it to a magazine. They say that she took a polygraph test. What is the president’s response to her allegations?"

Shah: "This allegation was asked and answered during the campaign, and I’ll point you to those comments."

Reporter: "Was there some kind of settlement, some kind of hush money that was paid?"

Shah: "Like I said, this matter was asked and answered during the campaign, and anything else could be directed to Michael Cohen."
Feb. 13, 2018: Cohen says he paid Daniels out of his own pocket

Cohen claimed he personally paid $130,000 to Daniels, and that he received no reimbursement from the Trump Organization or Trump campaign. He did not say whether Trump personally reimbursed him.

"Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly," Cohen said in a statement to the New York Times. "The payment to Ms. Clifford was lawful, and was not a campaign contribution or a campaign expenditure by anyone."

Cohen told the New York Times he made a similar statement to the Federal Election Commission after a government watchdog filed a complaint alleging the payment was an in-kind contribution to Trump’s presidential campaign that violated campaign finance laws.

He would later say the funds were transferred from a home-equity line to an account for a personal corporation he used to facilitate the payment to Daniels.

April 5: Trump denies that he knew of payment

During a press gaggle aboard Air Force One, Trump claimed he had no knowledge of the payment to Daniels. He also stated he did not know Cohen’s funding source. Here’s the exchange:
Reporter: "Mr. President, did you know about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels?"

Trump: "No. No. What else?"

Reporter: "Then why did Michael Cohen make those if there was no truth to her allegations?"

Trump: "Well, you’ll have to ask Michael Cohen. Michael is my attorney. And you’ll have to ask Michael Cohen."

Reporter: "Do you know where he got the money to make that payment?"

Trump: "No, I don’t know. No."
May 2, 2018: Giuliani reveals Trump reimbursed Cohen

In the interview with Hannity, Giuliani said that Trump had in fact repaid Cohen to silence Daniels.

Giuliani: "Having something to do with paying some Stormy Daniels woman $130,000, I mean, which is going to turn out to be perfectly legal. That money was not campaign money, sorry, I'm giving you a fact now that you don't know. It's not campaign money. No campaign finance violation. So —"

Hannity: "They funneled it through a law firm."

Giuliani: "Funneled it through a law firm, and the president repaid it."

Hannity: "I didn't know he did?"

Giuliani: "Yes."
Giuliani later suggested Trump reimbursed Cohen through installments paid to the attorney’s legal retainer.

"When I heard Cohen’s retainer of $35,000, when he was doing no work for the president, I said that’s how he’s repaying it, with a little profit and a little margin for paying taxes for Michael," Giuliani said.

May 2-3, 2018: Giuliani and Trump elaborate on payment plan

In an interview with the New York Times shortly after his Hannity appearance, Giuliani elaborated on the payment plan. He said he has documents showing Trump personally repaid Cohen, which he claimed proves there was no campaign finance violation.

"Some time after the campaign is over, they set up a reimbursement, $35,000 a month, out of his personal family account," Giuliani said, adding that Trump paid Cohen some $470,000 through the payments, which included "incidental expenses."

The following day, Trump issued a series of tweets acknowledging the arrangement with Cohen and again denying the affair:
"Mr. Cohen, an attorney, received a monthly retainer, not from the campaign and having nothing to do with the campaign, from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties, known as a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA. These agreements are very common among celebrities and people of wealth. In this case it is in full force and effect and will be used in Arbitration for damages against Ms. Clifford (Daniels). The agreement was used to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair, despite already having signed a detailed letter admitting that there was no affair. Prior to its violation by Ms. Clifford and her attorney, this was a private agreement. Money from the campaign, or campaign contributions, played no roll in this transaction."
PolitiFact forgot to mention that Trump and everyone in his foul fascist regime has lied about this in every single discussion they've had about it. Trump, no doubt, has also lied to Melania about it over and over again, probably saying things like "I swear on my life" and "If it's ever proven I'll give you $10,000,000 and tear up the pre-nups."

Midnight Meme Of The Day!

If this is how America's nightmare ends, the irony will be large. After all, what will Pat Robertson have to say? Will multiple poses of Stormy Daniels' visage end up on a future sheet of postage stamps? If so, the U.S. Postal Service will never have to worry about going bankrupt again. Mail service might even be restored to twice a day, or at least one delivery by 11:00am.

Will every town in every blue state have a Stormy Daniels Boulevard?

Will there be a Stormy Danials International Airport? If so, I hope it's Washington's current Reagan International Airport. That would be so much more appropriate. Airports should be named for someone who did something positive for their country, not usher in the economic destruction of the middle class.

In keeping with the postage stamp theme, how about a shiny new Stormy Daniels coin? I suggest a quarter that comes in $20.00 rolls. A limited edition $75.00 roll of Stormy Daniels 50 cent pieces might also be popular, although that's obviously not for everyone. And, just to be fair and balanced about all this, I propose a commemorative Donald Trump $1.00 roll of dimes.

Finally, how soon before Stormy becomes the most popular name for newborns in America?

I'm counting the days before Paul Ryan calls a "House Special Committee To Examine Stormy Daniels." You just know all those Republipervs in Congress want to form a panel and bring her in for a hearing. Each one of these sleazo Trey Gowdy and David Nunes types will be sitting there day dreaming that she would spank them just like she spanked Señor Trumpanzee. They'd all be slipping her their cell numbers. You know they've probably already spent our taxpayer dollars buying "research materials" which consist of her movies, and, of course, other similar movies. Of course, more than one congressman will want a detailed description of Trumpanzee's underwear; "Boxers or briefs, color? Were they t-t-t-tight?" This will be Washington as we know it really is.

Such a committee would probably be the biggest committee in number that Congress has ever seen as congressmen of both parties desperately maneuver to gain a seat and a microphone. I can see Anthony Weiner trying to sneak in as if he'd never left, although Stormy's probably a little old for him. His question, of course, would be "Do you have any younger sisters or nieces?" At that, every creep on the hearing panel would snap to attention, cutting in out of order saying "Yes, tell us about the sisters and nieces. Tell us about the sisters and nieces!" Chaos would ensue as whoever chairs the committee would be banging his gavel as loud as possible, begging for order. Once, order is restored, the chairman, probably Ryan himself, will, with barely controlled anticipation, shout "Yes, please tell us about the sisters and nieces. Americans have a right to know, and, by the way, have you ever exchanged any emails with Hillary Clinton?"

The Senate version the Stormy Daniels examination will be even more of a circus, as Mitch McConnell breaks into a profuse sweat as movie stills are passed around, Rafael "Ted" Cruz starts rolling around on the floor speaking in tongues, and Orin Hatch holds up the same, well-thumbed copy of "The Exorcist" that he brought to the Clarence Thomas nomination hearings decades ago and demands that she spank him with it; "Spank me now, and spank me hard. I beg you! Spank me hard!"

Was The Raid On His Fixer, Michael Cohen, The Last Straw For Trumpanzee?

>

"It's an attack on our country in a true sense. It's an attack on what we all stand for." Was Señor Trumpanzee talking about Russian stealing the 2016 election for him? No, of course not. The primitive, illegitimate "president" was talking about the execution of a warrant by the FBI on his personal lawyer for covering up his affair with a porno star. USA Today reported a few hours ago that Trump, just before going into a meeting with his war cabinet about the gas attack in Syria, was attacking his Attorney General. Is Trump insane? "He blew his top like a loon," is how it was described by a witness. This report from NPR strongly indicates he is:

Lots of guys pay for sex, but $130,000??!!!??! Yet, Trump supporters will still tell you they voted for him because of his claim of business acumen. And don't think for a second that Señor Trumpanzee having sex with porn stars isn't a plus in the eyes of his supporters. I can attest that I've heard that one first hand. One even managed to tell me that Trumpanzee's taste for porn stars showed that he had better taste in women than... wait for it... Obama! Of course, he managed to add that he thought Michelle Obama "looks like an ape," but that's who Republicans are.

Soon, we will be hearing about other payments and lawyers holding Trump-Porn Star Piece Talks. Even Bill Clinton will be amazed.

Maybe Trump being dumb enough to pay such amounts for sex is the reason he's had to declare bankruptcy so many times. I expect that the recent broadcast of the Stormy Daniels interview might be the first of many similar TV events. I can see a weekly Trump: Interview With A Porn Star shows becoming a new national pastime with, much like the Super Bowl, lots of junk food merchandising in grocery stores and daily advance programs leading up to the big day. It's the American way!

While Trumpanzee looks at Stormy and thinks "mommy, mommy, mommy," I bet Stormy Daniels scares the zombie-eyed bejesus out of Pence and he goes running for the wife-chaperone-beard he calls "mother." No, I don't think Pence would ever have any sexual designs on Stormy, far, far from it but I bet Stormy causes a lot of confusion and fear in Pence's obviously conflicted and underdeveloped mind. It's enough for a man to reach out to Jack Daniels and Mr. Xanax.

One thing the Stormy Daniels affair doesn't incite in Pence, though, is a need to say or do something, and therein lies his all too typical Christian hypocrisy. It's clear by now that Pence's weasel lust for power trumps (pun unavoidable) any alleged and unlikely revulsion he may have about his boss's behavior. Pence is clearly willing to follow his Devil's message and put his alleged Christian faith aside because he longs, above all, to be president. His ethics and morality had a price, a low one at that. But, this is not surprising. The stated beliefs of today's Christians have nothing to do with the reality of what today's Christians are about. As always, it's about power, greed, hate, money, and all the trappings. That goes, of course, for any professed Christian that voted for the Trump/Pence ticket and goes triple for any so-called Christian who would do it all over again.

Who Will Bring Down Trump? Mueller? Stormy? Or Is It Us?

>

Quinnipiac released a new poll today. It isn't especially good news for Trumpanzee. 57% of voters say he's damaged rather than improved (34%) the U.S. reputation around the world. But it gets worse. 55% of voters say he has no sense of decency and 67% say he isn't a good role model for children. (29% of voters say he is a good role model. Obviously they should be sterilized immediately and if they have minor children, the kids should be assigned social workers.)

I tend to think of Stormy Daniels as a distraction. I mean everyone already knows Trump is an amoral scumbag, right? Well... everyone you and I know do, but there are plenty of voters who don't believe any of it-- and more who could care less. They think of Stormy Daniels as a distraction too-- even the 2011 lie dictator test that showed a 99% probability that she told the truth when she said they had unprotected sex with Señor Trumpanzee in 2006. Which means Trump has been consistently lying about it. The examiner asked her a series of questions, three of which were relevant to the alleged affair: 'Around July 2006, did you have vaginal intercourse with Donald Trump? Around July 2006, did you have unprotected sex with Donald Trump? Did Trump say he would get you on The Apprentice?' Clifford answered 'yes' to all three, according to the report." Her attorney:
"Long before Mr. Trump announced his candidacy for the presidency, Ms. Clifford [Stormy] passed a lie detector test confirming her relationship with Mr. Trump," Avenatti said. "Where are his test results claiming otherwise? Where are Mr. Cohen’s test results claiming otherwise? When this is over, the American people will know the truth about the relationship and the cover-up."
Meanwhile, the NY Times reported yesterday that "A former Playboy model who claimed she had an affair with Donald Trump sued to be released from a 2016 legal agreement requiring her silence, becoming the second woman this month to challenge Trump allies’ efforts during the presidential campaign to bury stories about extramarital relationships... The model, Karen McDougal, is suing the company that owns the National Enquirer, American Media Inc., which paid her $150,000 and whose chief executive is a friend of Mr. Trump’s."

As much as I believe all this stuff-- and more and worse-- I think it's just gossip that ultimately no one really cares about when it comes to the one thing that's important: defeating Trump and his enablers at the polls-- in November and in 2020. Richard Cohen doesn't agree. He opined in the Washington Post yesterday that Stormy Daniels-- not Robert Mueller-- might spell Trump’s doom. He compared Trump and Stormy to Harry in Hemingway's The Snows of Kilimanjaro-- Harry is Trump and Stormy is the little scratch that he didn't treat, turned gangrenous and killed him. "The saga of the adult-film star and the juvenile president," he wrote, "has become a rollicking affair. Each step of the way, Daniels has out-Trumped Trump. She is as shameless as he, a publicity hound who adheres to the secular American religion that, to be famous, even for nothing much, is to be rich. By and large, that’s not true, but then there is Kim Kardashian to prove otherwise... [Stormy] appears everywhere. She makes statements, vows, rebuttals and allegations and is scheduled to appear this Sunday on 60 Minutes. Trump must be shaking his head in admiration. He supposedly used to call in gossip items about himself to New York reporters, employing a false name and false voice. He even exulted in publicity about his extramarital affair with Marla Maples, who was overheard by the New York Post alleging it was the 'best sex I’ve ever had.'"
In pre-Trump days, it might have been possible to destroy Daniels by calling her a slut or whatever. But Trump himself is a slut. He is a liar and a moral harlot who revels in irresponsibility and bad-boy behavior. He has no moral edge over his accuser. We have all been instructed by Trump himself to disregard schoolhouse virtues of honesty, dignity and rectitude. Trump himself travels light.

It was the little thing that killed Harry on safari. It was the unattended cut, the disabled truck, the tardy rescue plane. As he died, he dreamed of Kilimanjaro, “unbelievably white in the sun” but the hyena that had been stalking him made “a strange, human, almost crying sound,” and he knew what the hyena already knew. It is what Trump is learning.
Goal ThermometerI still don't see that changing many votes. Evangelicals? Not a chance! The Christian right is al about the right and not about anything remotely Christian. If Jesus came back and denounced Trump, they'd take Trump's side and string up Jesus. The kind of people who care about this stuff, already hate Trump or, at least, want to see a Congress in place that will put checks on him. And fortunately, that cohort of the population is already a majority-- 50% who say they want to see Democrats running Congress to 40% who say they want to see Republicans running the show. This week Lake Research released a poll of voters in 30 targeted swing districts that finds that progressive Democrats have a tremendous opportunity in the 2018 election to win these districts, and they can run and win on progressive policies. Lake found found that in these districts, mostly held by Republican incumbents, voters enthusiastically support progressive policies and progressive messaging works, both to persuade swing voters and to mobilize the base.
Across these congressional districts, Democrats currently lead by +11 points on the generic ballot for Congress, with Democrats receiving 46% of the vote, Republicans receiving 35%, and 17% undecided. There is a clear enthusiasm gap, with 38% of voters strongly supporting the Democratic candidate but only 27% of voters saying the same for the Republican candidate.

"Trump, they found, "is deeply unpopular in these districts, with just 36% of voters rating him as doing an excellent or good job, compared with 64% of voters who give him a just fair or poor rating. The Democratic Party also holds a number of advantages over the Republican Party, leading by +21 points on 'reducing the influence of corporations and special interests in Washington,' +15 points on 'building a better future for our children,' and by +11 points on 'better for working families' and 'on your side.' One note of warning for Democrats is that they trail the Republican Party by -10 points on which party is 'better on jobs and the economy.' Voters in these districts are clear that they want a bold economic vision as opposed to a more incremental approach. When asked, 52% of voters said they prefer 'a bold and comprehensive agenda to rewrite the rules of the economy,' compared with the 36% of voters who would choose to 'make our economy work for everyone by building on the success of the past.' In particular, progressive surge voters favor the bold vision 61% to 28% and independent voters favor the bold vision 52% to 40%."
Progressive policies enjoy strong support among voters in these districts. The most intensely popular policies focus on prescription drugs, health care, infrastructure, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and cracking down on Wall Street, and these policies were popular with both swing voters and surge voters. Prescription drugs are so popular that they are seen as a core value across all demographics, with even 66% of Republicans strongly in support of allowing Medicare to negotiate prices like the VA.

...These policies not only motivate the progressive base, but make voters more likely to support Democrats. A majority of voters (52%) said they would be more likely to vote for a candidate talking about the progressive policies we mentioned, while only 26% would be less likely.

After progressive policies and messages, we see not only gains for Democratic candidates but a drop in support for Republican candidates. On our final ballot, Democrats receive a near-majority of the vote (49%) and support for Republican candidate dips to 31%, widening the Democratic lead to +18 points, with 19% undecided. This shift includes expanding the margin with white non-college voters from +5 points to +9 points from the initial (43% Democrat, 38% Republican) to the final (45% Democrat, 36% Republican) ballot.

Midnight Meme Of The Day!

An open letter to Melania:

Dear Melania,

We've been going over various statistics relating to your husband's failure of a life and failure of a career (if one can call it that). After this examination, it appears that you are, to use, a precise, scientific term, slacking off. You have not, yet, reached the standards of your set by your husband's other business ventures. To do that, you would have to join his other wives and whatevers and walk out of the "relationship." If nothing else, ask yourself if that thing you call a husband is a good role model for Baron. Do you really want him to turn out hideously, almost freakishly, like Don Jr., Eric, or Ivanka? It's not too late, and we'd like to point out that there are plenty of children being well-raised in single parent households.

I know you probably think that you are trapped in some sort of ironclad prenup or other contract, but, as Stormy Daniels has shown, sometimes an agreement is not an agreement. I'm sure that there are plenty of lawyers that are ready willing and very able to be of assistance to you and Baron. From what we've seen, you can certainly find a lawyer that is better than any who will work for your husband at this point.

So, Melania, why not trade in your humiliation for some redemption? In fact, if you want to go the extra mile, you could lead the entire White House staff right out the door with you. Now, that's the kind of parade that your husband deserves!

Sincerely,

Noah

Fearing Sharks, Trump Doesn't Like Water Skiing Or Surfing... But Water Sports Is His Thang

>

Helen's son, a top-notch international arbitration expert, is taking some time away from being a lawyer by spending a year or two communing with nature. Rather than turning to Maureen Dowd about the legalistic intricacies of how Señor Trumpanzee can keep the fact that he has serially hired prostitutes to urinate on him-- and , no, not just in Moscow-- away from his credulous fan-boys, we turned to our own expert about Stormy Daniels and the arbitration deal. He said it was somewhat complicated but suggested there are two main things we should keep our eyes on:
Even if a contract requires you to arbitrate disputes you can almost always still go to court for what we'd call "interim relief." A TRO (temporary restraining order) falls into this category. It doesn't decide the underlying dispute, it just decides the status quo while the dispute is pending in arbitration.

A TRO is one of the few things you can sometimes get ex parte, or without the other party present. The person asking for the TRO has to show that if the TRO isn't granted they'll suffer irreparable harm that can't be compensated by money damages. They also usually have to show a likelihood of success on the merits and some kind of urgency. TRO's are short term orders and once in place can be challenged by the other side. You usually need to follow up with a more involved preliminary injunction proceeding if you want to keep the TRO relief in place for any length of time. Preliminary injunctions can't be obtained ex parte.

My guess is that here Trump's lawyers showed a copy of a contract with a gag order to the judge and said that, assuming the contract is valid, Trump would suffer irreparable harm if the woman violated it by talking. So until an arbitrator can decide who's right and wrong under the contract, the woman can't discuss it. On its face, that's what the contract requires of her.

Make sense? Of course, simply admitting the existence of an arbitration proceeding itself proves that there was a contract since arbitration is contractual by nature. So it's clear that Trump had a contract with a porn star, which is exactly what he's trying to say he didn't have...
So did Stormy piss in Trump's face or on his back or what? And how much did Trump pay the prostitutes to pee on him? Did he haggle and negotiate deals? Is it more expensive in NYC than in Moscow? Now, that's where you'd turn to Dowd and today's Times column, The First Porn President. Trump, she wrote, "is determined to be our most shameless president, running a White House awash in salacious stories and louche characters." And awash in pee-pee?
Asked by reporters Wednesday how Republicans would have responded if President Barack Obama had been charged with cavorting with a porn star (right after his wife had a baby, no less), Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana replied, “I don’t know,” adding, “This is no country for creepy old men.”

Trump’s love life, it seems, boasts more pseudonyms than Frank Abagnale Jr.

Stormy Daniels’s real name is Stephanie Clifford, but she was called Peggy Peterson, or “P.P.” (shades of the dossier!), and Trump was referred to as David Dennison in the 2016 legal agreement Trump lawyer Michael Cohen drew up to buy her silence before the election for $130,000. (He registered a whole new company in Delaware for this purpose. More tax benefits!)

Stormy, the star of 2016’s Sex Bots: Programmed for Pleasure, has learned to be litigious from the master. She sued, claiming the agreement is null and void because Trump, a.k.a. John Barron, John Miller and David Dennison, didn’t sign it. But Cohen slapped a restraining order on the actress, even as she sat for a 60 Minutes segment with Anderson Cooper this past week, presumably to dish without restraint on the Donald.

Alana Evans, another blond porn actress, who has appeared in It’s Okay! She’s My Mother in Law 13 and Dirty Little Sex Brats 9, claims that Trump told her she should come along to his hotel room with Stormy that weekend in 2006 at the Lake Tahoe golf tournament, but she didn’t. Evans’s real name may or may not be Dawn Vanguard.

Jessica Drake, yet another porn actress, who starred in Massage School Dropouts, appeared with Gloria Allred the month before the presidential election to accuse Trump of kissing her without permission and offering to pay her for sex at the SAME golf tournament, a charge Trump denied. In Cohen’s legal agreement, Stormy refers to Drake as Angel Ryan.

The president, who often seems short-tempered, nasty and impatient with others and who has certainly been disrespectful to his wife, showed his sweet side to his mistresses in the skin trade.

He actually took time out from showing Stormy a picture of himself on the cover of a magazine, according to her interview in In Touch Weekly, to ask her about her own work in the porn industry.

“He was very curious,” she said. “Not necessarily about the sex or anything like that, but business questions.” Like how much she made off royalties from the movies.

When she asked what was up with his hair, he laughed with her about it. He gave her his ultimate compliment, comparing her to Ivanka. And he didn’t ask to do anything kinky.

“He wasn’t like, ‘Chain me to the bed’ or anything,” she reported, adding that the experience was “textbook generic.”

While she ate swordfish in his room, he watched Shark Week and confided his terror of sharks, adding, “I hope all the sharks die.”

Oddly, for such a germaphobe, he did not use a condom, she said.

At the Tahoe golf tournament where Trump was pinballing among porn actresses, when his son Barron was a few months old, he also began an affair with a former Playmate of the Year named Karen McDougal, according to Ronan Farrow in the New Yorker. (Trump denies it.)

When he offered her money after sex, McDougal said, she told him she was not “that girl” and he told her, “You are special.”

The Stormy episode is exactly the kind of embarrassing episode that Trump wiggled out of for decades, denying that he knew women who accused him, playing the legal and media angles to kill stories, getting the help of friends and employees to pay off women.

But times have dramatically changed, post-Weinstein.

At the White House on Friday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried again to bury the story, saying, “We’ve addressed this extensively and I don’t have anything else to add.”

Goal ThermometerBut that isn’t going to mollify the millions of women who find the president’s behavior sordid and unacceptable. Trump and by extension the Republican Party are facing a gender chasm they may fall into in November.

Disgusted with the Rat Pack role model at the top, women are lining up not just to vote, but to run for office. A historic number are running for Congress this year, and in Texas alone last Tuesday, 25 Democratic women won their primaries or advanced to a runoff.

The White House will keep trying to dismiss Daniels as she is on her “Make America Horny Again” tour, but she’s not going away. As Muddy Waters famously sang the blues, “They call it stormy Monday, but Tuesday’s just as bad; Wednesday’s worse, and Thursday’s also sad.”
