WOLFOWITZ AND BUSH HAVE DEMANDS BEFORE THE WORLD BANK CAN END THIS DISGUSTING AND DEMEANING AFFAIR

>

"He just wanted to help The Poor."

Before I left for the desert yesterday, Wolfowitz was negotiating his resignation terms with the World Bank, terms he hoped would make him employable by someone, somewhere in the future, and terms that wouldn't make the Bush Regime look as incompetent and corruptive as all decent people already know they are. I got home after midnight and hit the sack. When I woke up this morning I switched on CNN and Bush was explaining the whole mess.

Anyone not following the Wolfowitz tale closely enough would walk away understanding that he was being fired from the World Bank because of his commitment to the interests of poor people in the Third World. The Bush Regime-- heroes of Man.

This morning CNN's Ed Henry reports that "A key source close to the negotiations told me the White House has concluded that Wolfowitz can no longer serve effectively and the administration is now looking for an exit strategy." But Wolfowitz doesn't want to resign "under a cloud." Maybe he should have thought of that before breaking Bank rules to give his girlfriend a huge pay raise. This morning's NY Times confirms that all Wolfowitz wants is for the Bank to say something nice about him and then he'll resign.

The Times indicates that the Bank will buckle-- under pressure from the Bush Regime-- and say something nice to say about Wolfowitz to get him out with rupturing relations with Bush.
"The bank board is ready to vote Wolfowitz out of office, and Wolfowitz is calling their bluff,” said a bank official briefed on the negotiations. “It’s going to be difficult for the board to drop its charges against him, but they’re going to have to do it if they want to resolve this. They’re staring each other down, but the bank side is blinking furiously.”

Bush and his band of corrupt little fascists have managed to make a repulsive and sordid little affair even more repulsive, more sordid, part of U.S. foreign policy and... well, it's all for the poor people... in the Third World. And they will continue to drag the World Bank through the mud until they get want they want, the appearance of innocence for someone clearly guilty.

UPDATE: JUST IN FROM CNN-- WOLFOWITZ STILL HASN'T QUITE RESIGNED

But he's getting closer. It looks like the compromise is that he can keep his title 'til June 30 as long as he doesn't bother anyone who works at the Bank.

UPDATE: SO WHAT WAS THE DEAL?

Wolfowitz doesn't have to admit anything and he gets a $400,000 performance bonus. I guess he doesn't care about helping The Poor quite as much as Bush implied. One World Bank employee said he speaks for the entire staff in saying they would have all been happy to chip in from their own pockets to pay Wolfowitz off long ago to have gotten him to go away before dragging their institution through the slime.

It is only a matter of time when the Spitman Wolfie is booted from the World Bank. Wolfie is a lot more heap of crimes with his ties to the Iraq propaganda with Doug Feith and Scooter Libby.

World Bank(private banks bankroll World Bank) is private investment overseas. Banks like ING are moving into foreign domestic insurance like Geico. The venture groups like Buffet are leading these banks into the risky investments.

Banks are merging in Europe. This is the global finance balance of power.

Bank of Japan has the lowest interest rates at .5%

World Bank global development refused global warming issues in development.

The C40 cities are going to get money from the Clinton Foundation
Climate Change Institute. The banks bankrolling(like the private banks bankrolling World Bank) the C40 Clinton Foundation are CITI, Deutsche, JP Morgan Chase, UBS and ABN Amro. The 5 Billion dollar laons are payed in energy savings created by the loans. Energy companies. The loans are dependent on energy companies paying with savings to the C40 cities.

The World Bank works the same as the C40 Clinton loans. The C40 cities have created a World Bank and loans in global warming instead of development. These loans have to be payed back just like World Bank and that traditionally ties up a country's finance for generations.

The legilsation regarding global warming issues on the Intelligence Budget were rejected and Waxman is now after the Air Force through NASA and the new Geospacial Intelligence Agency in the legislation. The annoucement of these international cities and the global warming loans requires creation of legislation for intelligence in this area and geospacial will not be enought to handle the intelligence work. The new agency is funded through the gravity studies in the artic by ten countries. The agency simply wants an office like USIP on the Mall in Washington. The C40 Clinton foundation loans were passed on by the World Bank and Wolfowitz and this may be his problem. The reality is that World Bank loans are more destructive than good and it is the same with the C40 Clinton foundation loans, a pass. The legislation and push for funding by the Air Force and creation of a geospacial Intelligence agency is a mistake that Waxman is trying to address, but he has gone far with Plame and Plame and the CIA are payed with the move of the CIA analysts to DoD and legislation that has alreaddy been put through. The Air Force has already payed(the people in charge of the canges at CIA are all retired Air Force) the CIA and now expects payment with the creation of a new intelligence agency(another agency that reports to Congress, increasing the pwoer there) in the Air Force reporting to Congress.

Wolfowitz was caught up in this and the World Bank would want the loans and the CIA and Air Force would want the legislation. He cannot win against all this.

I cannot help but wonder why criminals get medals and raises, promotions and bonuses. Adulterers get support from the highest office in the USA, yet the GOP denies outwardly that anything is out of line or amiss.

George Bush is like an 15 year old who has taken over his parents house and bank account. He and Rove have constructed a world in which real living breathing people are suffering so they can do whatever it is their heart desires.

Meanwhile, if you or I would take so much as a postage stamp from our place of employment, we would be immediately suspect. Our strength of character would be called into question.

This is white collar crime in proportions that are truly incredible. Which must be why everyone is standing around mouths agape and paralyzed from the shock.

Enough already. Throw the bums out and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. If the Dems and congress cannot do that, then they are little better than Gonzales and Wolfie.
