Midnight Meme Of The Day!

>

-by Noah

In the wake of Tuesday's election debacle for the Repug Party, there are reports that American Terrorist Paul Ryan and his congressional cohorts are panicking over the fact that they have done nothing other than rename a few post offices and highways; no legislation of consequence. Given the psychotic tendencies of Republicans and what they'd like to do to us, that's actually a good thing. Even at this point, after the election results of Tuesday, they are still determined to pick our pockets and give our money to their uber-wealthy benefactors who will in turn give some back to them as "campaign contributions." This scam is better known as Trump-Republican Tax "Reform." In the twisted minds of Republicans, this scam would be, at last, a major accomplishment that they could point to. The lying about its benefits to "ordinary Americans" has already reached a level that threatens to break every bullshit meter known to man. It's such a blatant transfer of wealth upward that rumbles of negativity are even coming from the U.S. Senate. The dastardly plan may not happen at all.

So, with one mass murder after another, what if the Repugs really wanted to have an achievement, a positive achievement that would actually be looked upon favorably by normal people, what could the Repug Party do? What major legislation could they pass? Might they drop their tax "reform" scam and address the issue of gun safety with some common sense legislation as suggested by today's meme? That would certainly help the country and them as well.

Nah! Never happen. Alas, Republicans are blind to anything positive or righteous. It's just not who they can be. Gun safety legislation just doesn't compute with them. They are the party of death and mayhem. Gun safety legislation just wouldn't harm or destroy the lives of enough Americans to make Trump, Ryan, and McConnell and all of their Senators and Reps feel a sense of satisfaction and happiness. Sigh, it was a nice thought though.

According to Republicans and the Pharisee Xtians, one's value to society is based solely on how much one has to contribute to corporatist candidates and megachurch millionaire preachers.
