Midnight Meme Of The Day!

In keeping with our Halloween Weekend theme...

Just look at them, Chucky and Donnie. The resemblance is uncanny. Which one is more creepy? You decide. My vote is for the sniffing, drooling, stalking predatory creep that stood way too close behind Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential debate circus.

For those who've never taken the time to improve your minds by watching any of the Chucky movies (There are six, now), Chucky is a wooden-headed, orange-haired doll who also happens to be a serial killer. The first in the series, Child's Play, is the most famous of the six, but there's also "Curse Of Chucky", "Bride Of Chucky (Chucky Gets Lucky)", "Seed Of Chucky", and Cult Of Chucky, not to mention Child's Play 2" and Child's Play 3. It always looks bad for Chucky at some point in every one of the series. He absorbs a ton of abuse. He even gets burned and decapitated. But, he keeps coming back. The door for his recovery is always left open just a crack, mostly because the average fool can't believe that any doll could be so evil. If you have the stomach for them, I'm sure they periodically run in sequence as Child's Play marathons on various cable networks. It beats watching FOX "News."

Obviously, there's more than just the physical resemblance going on between Chucky and Donnie. I see all of the Child's Play series as metaphors for our relationship, as human beings, with Demon Donnie and/or Demon Chucky. After all, here's how IMDB describes Child's Play:
A single mother gives her son a much sought after doll for his birthday, only to discover that it is possessed by the soul of a serial killer.
How is that synopsis any different than 60 million Americans, thinking they'd have a much sought friend in Washington, voting for a wooden headed, weird-haired, orange-painted freak, who, it turns out, dreams of taking away healthcare, polluting our air, food, and water with carcinogens, and nuking whole countries? Those 60 million republican voters are the "Cult Of Donnie." Curse, Bride, Seed... It's all there. The current state of affairs explained.
