ROMNEY AND THOMPSON, THE TWO BIGGEST FLIP-FLOPPERS, DECLARE WAR-- ON EACH OTHER
>
Frederick of Hollywood has only been officially in the race for a couple of days and he's already rocketed past Mitt Romney. Romney's response was a vicious, mean spirited, anonymous web site slandering the hell out of Thompson. Seeking to deflect blame from him or his nasty brood of net-savvy sons, Romney threw his high-paid consultants under the bus and claims they did it on their own. What a stand up guy and what a leader-- just what the Republicans need! Thompson called it a "half baked cover-up attempt."
Each side is demanding the other apologize. If they don't they will have to stop impersonating Reagan. This is getting really nasty and personal-- and reeks of desperation. Giuliani is laughing his ass off. Frederick of Hollywood's spokesman said, "this latest episode only serves to prove what many voters are already figuring out: Mitt Romney will do anything, say anything, smear any opponent and flip flop on any position in order to win. The American people in general and the Republican Party in particular deserve better than this." He added that if Romney is "going to hit is, we're going to hit back harder." Girls, girls, girls...

When candidates have little to offer the public, they resort to the kind of stuff that Romney and Thompson are engaging in. Romney represents that he's a terrific manager, but a good manager would know what is going on in his campaign. He's spending an awful lot of money to remain so ignorant.
