There aren't many tv hosts in touch with the truth of what's going on in America-- and even fewer who care. Almost all of them are well-paid propaganda whores who are very much in the mode V for Vendetta broadcast villain Lewis Prothero, someone who looked a helluva lot like Rush Limbaugh and sounded like what you would expect from the spawn of Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter. His violent death in a shower scene elicited roars of approval from the audience when I saw the film. Or was that just me yelling and applauding?
In any case, one of the few broadcasters who really is in search of truth, justice and the American way, is MSNBC host Keith Olbermann. Eveen the MSNBC management were shocked yesterday when they found out that Keith was the most watched cable news show in the prime 25-54 demo. He clobbered O'Reilly and all the other Hate Talk propaganda apologists for the far right. (O'Reilly's prime demo seems to be among angry white men in their 70s and 80s... hard demo for advertisers-- other than Depends-- to relate to.) The chart looks great, with Keith trouncing not just O'Reilly, but also Hume, Hannity and Gibson on Fox, the Lou Dobbs Xenophobia Show on CNN, Beck's two neo-fascist Headline News shows combined and, of course, the hapless Tucker Carlson. MSNBC's least-viewed show.
John Amato over at Crooks & Liars offers the perfect example today of why O'Reilly's audience is fading.

I'm certainly no expert on Cable ratings, but the numbers I see over at Inside Cable News tells a different story. O’Reilly wins the 25-54 by 52,000 on Friday, September 7th, 2007! Maybe you should re-think that rant just a little.
I almost forgot, what exactly does that 1,861,00 viewers for O'Reily and the 702,000 viewers for Countdown mean?
Also, O'Really lost his viewers not to K.O, but to death.
Olbermann is expressing the views of mainstream America. Too bad he's the only one who has a TV show. I hope he continues to smite O'Reilly's hate-filled verbal vomitus.

I watched once or twice, but I didn't think the guy did sports very well. Why would I want to hear his views on the news?

Keith beats Bill 1 night in 1 demographic (even that is debatable) and you guys act like you just won the White House!
I was just pointing out that Keith has less than half the total listeners than Bill. Just taking a little of the "air out of this supposed ratings victory baloon"

Keith is the only commentator who tells us the truth. Way to go...The majority of the GOP are without conscience and are morally unfit to lead our nation. Thanks to Keith, we are able to see these Judas's for what they are.
