CPAC... SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST ANN COULTER'S VICIOUS-- AND HIGHLY PROFITABLE-- LITTE EGO TRIP
>
Max Blumenthal did a totally cool little video today for The Nation showing that the coverage of CPAC this weekend wasn't only about extremist bigot/GOP spokesperson Ann Coulter. Max's hilarious clip allows the unhinged and demented to speak for themselves and, of course, in the end, it all comes back to their main man... Ann.
Speaking of Ann, anyone know if Flip Flop Mitt has asked her to withdraw her endorsement of his campaign yet? The kooks and nuts who populated the CPAC convention, who will do anything their idol Ann says anyway, voted to endorse Romney. He beat not only fellow fakers like Giuliani and McCain, but the lifelong right-wing extremists like Gilmore, Brownback, Tancredo and Hunter. (Their real first choices, Santorum and Macacawitz, were defeated in the re-election bids and have wound up on the same scrapheap of history the rest of the ultra-right movement is headed.)
Anyway, here's Max's wonderful little film:
UPDATE: WHY FEWER AND FEWER AMERICANS IDENTIFY WITH REPUBLICANS
Right Wing Watch may not have been as snazzy as Max but they've got all the dope on the far right maniacs who made imbeciles out of themselves and a mockery of their own movement at CPAC this weekend. They tend to make sure readers are aware of the relationship with the so-called "respectible" rightists-- like Senator Mitch McConnell (I wonder how he felt about Ann's "faggot" comment!), Congressman Jeb Hensarling, Tony Snow, Areln Specter (desperatley making jokes about Ted Kennedy's weight)-- and the criminals and gutter troops like Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Jim Inhofe and G. Gordon Liddy. Meanwhile, all the major speakers did their best to avoid talking about Bush and his miserable record.
Labels: Ann Coulter, certifiably insane Republicans, Mitt Romney
