BUSH RAKES IN THE DOUGH AT POSH LOUISVILLE DINNER FOR HIS OLE KENTUCKY HOMO

Bush repaid vulnerable Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell for helping to prevent the Senate from debating the Regime's unpopular Iraq War with a huge fundraiser last night in Louisville. It brought in over $2 million-- the largest amount in the state's history-- as the wealthy right-wingers rushed to pay back McConnell for always taking their side against working and middle class Americans. McConnell is one of the country's biggest whores to the banking and credit card industry and was instrumental in passing the odious bankruptcy bill.

Bush was his usual venal and loathsome self, distorting and twisting the truth to mislead his listeners, lashing out at Democrats seeking to protect American servicemen and women with Rove's bullshit: "They have a solemn responsibility to support those who wear the uniform of the United States." Bush didn't mention his Regime's policy of forcing wounded vets to lay in their own urine at under-funded medical facilities. And no one talked about homophobic Senator McConnell's closet door being pried open-- except in whispers.

The homophobic closet queen from Kentucky took umbrage at the Louisville Courier-Journal editorial and wrote a whiny little letter of complaint. The Public Campaign Action Fund has both. Poor Mitch; he wants his cake, he wants to eat it-- and he wants it all in his dark little closet where no one will see.
