IS THIS HOW GEORGE W. BUSH PROTECTS HOMELAND SECURITY? WITH REPUBLICAN PREDATORS MOLESTING CHILDREN?

>

I'm not a psychologist and I'm not going to try to figure out why child molesters and sick perverts are so often drawn to authoritarian right-wing organizations. But I have noticed that the louder and shriller the screams of "Family Values," the more likely it is you're going to find someone raping their 5 year old daughter or soliciting sex with 15 year old boys. Brian Doyle, Bush's Homeland Security official was just another weak Republican freak in a Department that has become a dumping ground for the kind of human detrius that washes up when we as a people-- and our elected "representatives"-- let the Executive Branch ride roughshod over the Constitution. You remember how the Bush Regime squealed like stuck pigs in the rush to patch together the Department of Homeland Security and how absolutely crucial to the national safety it was that there be no oversight about who BushCo wanted to hire in the massive department? No labor unions? No one to check up or or keep out Republicrooks and relatives of Republicrooks that Bush was already planning on populating the massive new department with. Ergo: Brian Doyle.

Am I saying that it's Bush's fault when Republicans rape children? Well... that's a bit of a stretch. A bit. The right wing ideology of selfishness and greed mixed with hatred, fear and bigotry fosters the kind of abherent behavior that makes the Republican Party the party of personal weakness and the party of hypocrisy. Carl over at Simply Left Behind has an extensive list of Republican child molesters. It didn't start with Doyle.

FRIDAY UPDATE: ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER 2 MORE REPUBLICAN CHILD MOLESTERS CAUGHT RED HANDED

This stuff is too sickening and heartbreaking to even write about. Now one of Rumsfeld's guys has been arrested for child porn. As Sean-Paul put it so well in The Agonist today, "Why don't these guys fight the War on Terror, instead of terrorizing little kids?"

Oh, and another one. Meet Charles R. Boutin, a GOP member of the Maryland Public Service Commission who was using his state computer in his office to cruise for prostitutes. Of course, like all Republicans who believe "taking responsibility" is something poor people and minorities are supposed to do, he whined that his perverted-- and criminal-- computer use was a way of dealing with impotence caused by cancer. If I had a $100,000 a year job, I'd be doing it, not sitting around online chatting with hookers like a 16 year old boy.

It's an obvious sign of exactly what's wrong with the current administration. Driven by greed and avarice, their deeds lie 180 degrees from their words.
