MIERS-- A FEMALE BUSH ??

Like Punxsutawney Phil's annual sojourn into the sunlight for a crucial prognostication, one of my oldest pals on earth, Stephen "Cosmo" Capson, popped up with an incredibly lucid analysis of Bush's appointment of Miers. Scoffing at all the harsh criticism Bush is facing on the Right and Left from people rolling their eyes dismissing her as just another unqualified crony, Stephen points out that Bush himself isn't one to think anything is wrong with either of those qualities. Cronyism is the heart of Bush's governing philosophy (and personal business life) and "unqualified" has hardly kept him from attaining positions and hence doing what he no doubt thinks is a sterling job. Were he ever to read a newspaper, let alone the internets, he'd be scratching his head wondering what all the hubbub about the nomination is.
