Rushin’ To Destruction: 2019 In Review, Part 13- - Tucker Carlson: Russia’s Tokyo Rose

>

-by Noah

Tucker Carlson oozes the smarmy elitism of most spoiled wealthy prep school boys. He’s comfortable in it, so comfortable that he’s never grown out of it. He approaches life and his nightly FOX "News" propaganda show with smirk and a gleeful "Fuck you, I’m Tucker Carlson and you’re not" attitude. This is a guy who doesn’t give a damn as long as the money’s good, it’s coming from "the right kind of people," and it enables him to masturbate his ego on a nightly basis.

Tucker Carlson’s lack of patriotism has never been in question. It’s just that now, with the statements and actions of people like Donald Trump, Moscow Mictch, and Devin Nunes, he’s more emboldened to flaunt his treachery as an adversarial propagandist than ever before. To Carlson, Vladimir Putin is a friend, not a homicidal dictator bent on world domination including the Untied States.

Carlson has always positioned himself as a kind of modern day Tokyo Rose. During World War II, Tokyo Rose (Actually several women lumped under the same name.) broadcast Japanese propaganda from her base in Tokyo to allied troops and sailors in the Pacific theater. The idea was that her broadcasts would lower morale and maybe even get allied troops to lay down their guns and join the other side. In the European theater, the Germans had Lord Haw Haw, their Nazi equivalent to Tokyo Rose.

Going way back, Whiney Little Tucker has always thrown his support for whatever rightwing extremism came along. From his blatant support of the Republican Party’s white supremacy movement. (He even claims white supremacy is a hoax) to his full support for phony tax cuts designed to benefit the wealthiest while, maybe, throwing a few pennies down to the feet of the “peasants,” Carlson has used his microphone to push whatever would get him the most money from Rupert Murdoch and hurt the most Americans at the same time. Is it any wonder that he marches along in lockstep with Trump, Nunes, Jordan, Moscow Mitch and the rest of the Republican Party?

On Carlson’s 11/25 show, Tucker decided to come out of his closet fully and completely. He meant his traitorous confessional as a win-win. It was a way to help his idol Trump by playing down Ukraine, and, help his idol’s bossman in Moscow at the same time.
Why do I care... what is going on in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia? And I’m serious. Why do I care. Why shouldn’t I root for Russia, which I am?”
So, yes, Tucker Carlson is a Russian version of Tokyo Rose for the present day, and the clip at the end of this post proves what those who keep an eye on Tucker Carlson already know: The above quote is no aberration.

Carlson’s nightly viewers, unlike the allied troops of World War II, naively and eagerly buy into the Russian propaganda he and his like-minded cohorts at FOX "News" drill into their heads 24 hours a day They buy into it much to their own detriment in some cases, and, maybe in others, because they’re rather live in Russia. We’ve seen the t-shirts they wear at Trump rallies ("I’d rather be a Russian Than A Democrat,") etc. In the meantime, these brainwashed minions are happy to live here and cheer Putin’s Number 1 Puppet.

Interestingly, when Carlson made his open admission, the social media world blew up in his smug face, rightly so. Tucker has never wielded much brainpower (He relies on acute smugness and coming off like a nine-year-old smart aleck) but he was smart enough to realize that he’d hurt himself by his revelation, even if he didn’t completely understand the how or the why. So, Tucker tried backtracking. As he signed off for the night, he lamely claimed he was only joking. It could not have been any more unconvincing. The cat was now officially out of the bag. Little Whiney Tucker then enlisted the aid of Sean Hannity to speak up in his defense but the best Hannity could come up with was a lame joke about Tucker being "a communist." Jeez, Tucker, when you have to resort to having a goon like Hannity, a fellow traveler at that, well… Let’s just say, it makes you look even worse. I’m surprised you didn’t pull a Mulvaney and just shout “Get over it!”

2018 In Review: Donald J. Trump, The (Con) Jobs President! The Whole World Is Watching, Part 11/The End.

>

by Noah
We're going to win so much you're going to be sick and tired of winning.
- Donald Jackass Trump
Billings, Montana, May 2016
Yup. So much winning! 62,000,000 voters bought the con from America's #1 Con Artist. Perhaps, they didn't realize that, in republican lingo, winning means you lose, emphasis you. So, yeah, in that sense, I guess a lot of people are getting sick and tired of "winning" republican style.

First it was his lies at the Carrier plant in Indiana, more recently, it was Ford Motors, now it's GM.

At the same time, he's telling his gullible cult that steel plants are opening all over the country. He might as well tell them that distant towns are paving their streets with Trump-provided gold or that, due to an agreement he's made with planet Zontar of the 9th dimension, aliens are providing new technology that will provide "millions and millions" of new jobs. Of course, his audiences would lap such idiocy right up. Believe me. As long as none of those jobs go to black or brown people.

In both the FORD and GM cases, the main reason for plant closings centers around the rising costs of parts from China caused by Señor Trumpanzees imposing of tariffs on the parts. The effects of the Trump-imposed tariffs are textbook. They can be no accident. Saying Trump was just stupid is highly implausible and almost offers him an out or an excuse.

In the case of the GM plant closings, a 12,000 figure mentioned for people earmarked for unemployment by Trumpanzee's tariff policies and his Republican Tax Scam rose, in just a few days, to 15,000, and, that doesn't include all of the ancillary metal, plastics, and electrical jobs that will be lost in other factories. Why that's enough for the whole White House staff to get out their "I Don't Really Care, Do You?" jackets and parade en masse down Pennsylvania Avenue all the way to their Republican friends in the Capitol Building in celebration. The Trump presidency truly is the bizarro presidency, one in which that which is bad is viewed as success. Kinda like his promise to drain the swamp. That’s where the obvious fact of Trump being a total sadist comes in. It also means that anyone who still supports him is a masochist. Those in power who continue to enable him are accomplices, at best.

Remember when Trump and his army of psychotics led by McConnell and Ryan claimed that Tax Scam 2018 would lead to corporations adding jobs? Even after the corporations themselves famously publicly admitted that it wouldn’t?

For years, Republicans talked about the need to lower the corporate tax rate in order to stimulate job creation. However, thanks to the Trump/Ryan Tax Scam, GM and other large corporations had their tax rates cut by 40% and instead, predictably to everyone but republican voters, the corporations like GM have just bought back stock, moved even more jobs overseas or across the border, given raises to top executives, pocketed the windfall and done nothing to stimulate job growth. As an example, so far this year, GM has received $157 million in tax cuts and used $100 million of that to buy back the corporation’s stock in order to benefit its top executives and biggest shareholders while screwing their workers.
You're going to see General Motors, they're coming back. A lot of companies are coming back. It's a good feeling. That's a really good feeling.
- Trumpanzee, February 13, 2018 at the White House.

Let me tell you folks in Ohio and in this area. Don't sell your house. Don't sell your house. We're gonna fill up those factories or rip them down and build brand new ones. That's what's gonna happen.
- The biggest asshole in the world. July 2017 in Youngstown, Ohio
Trump promised that factories would be filled up or torn down and replaced by new ones. And those 62,000,000 actually believed him. (Oh? Ok, that's an exaggeration. So many of them voted in support of the typical Republican racism and misogyny instead.) But again, the opposite was the truth. When Trump speaks, does he have a third little tiny hand behind his back with the fingers crossed?

When Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan and the entire rest of their party passed their tax scam for the 1% and their corporate benefactors, they knowingly lied and said the benefits of the tax cuts would “trickle down” to average Americans, even thought the “trickle down voodoo economics” of the Reagan years never bore fruit for average Americans. Republicans even went as far in their psychotic lying to say that every working family would receive a $4,000 pay raise in their checks. To top that lie off, Trump promised a new, instant middle class tax cut just as soon as the midterm elections were over. Again, Trump supporters bought the con. And let’s not forget Trump, after reluctantly actually going to visit some of our troops, lied to them that he had given them a 10% raise.

To date, only 4.4% of American workers have received any kind of raise or bonus related to the tax cuts that corporations received in the tax scam.

Republicans love to talk about things like recovery aid for disasters, natural or man-made, being “paid for” by offsets of cuts to be made elsewhere. In this case, the man-made disaster of the tax scam is an exploding deficit soaring into the trillions; enough to end the United States of America. But, that’s OK with Trump, Ryan, McConnell and their army of perps and dirtbags. Trump and his army went into this with their own ideas of off-sets in mind. They want to pay for the corporate welfare money they handed out to their benefactors by stealing from us by cutting our Social Security and Medicare. It’s all the equivalent of a nasty cat sadistically playing with its prey before it finally kills it.

Sadism is everything with Trump. Anyone who ever thought, even for an instant, that Trump was going to pursue policies that would result in jobs or help Americans or America is a fool of astronomical proportions. Such people are the ultimate example of people voting against themselves. In his whole life Trump has never done anything for anyone else but Trump. Sure, you can point to the CEOs and the 1% and say he’s helping them but all he’s doing with that is building an army of rich protectors. That is The Wall that Trump is actually building.
In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country... America's economy is booming like never before.
So said President Donald J. Trump in front of the United Nations General Assembly back in September of this year. His claim was greeted by laughter. I was reminded of the time a man threw his shoes at Dubya. I wished that the entire General Assembly had pelted him with their shoes, and rotten tomatoes. The paramedics would have had to quickly sedate him and carry him off with his legs bound and his arms in a straitjacket the way he belongs. We would have never seen him again, although putting an Internet Trump-Cam in his padded cell for 24 hour viewing would be appropriate, especially if the public could buy chances to address him from home through a speaker system in his cell.

Trump has truly "accomplished more than almost any administration." To be fair to Trump, you can take out the almost. The problem is whom has he accomplished it for. Himself and his psychotic hate for mankind? His army of CEOs, bankers and the worst of the 1%? His friends in China? Putin? By the time you read this, the number of Trump days listed on the list of the Top 20 worst single-day stock market drops in history will have grown to a dozen or more. Yes, "the American economy is booming..." It's booming like a 200 megaton A-bomb. Are you tired of all this winning? Well, keep in mind that if a president says something that triggers a market drop once, it might be an accident. Twice may be cause for suspicion, but Trump tweets, says or does something to sabotage the United States economy every day now. Also, keep in mind that he once said a low market isn't the worst thing because it's a great time to buy things below their true value and make a profit later. Now there’s a man with a plan, a sadistic plan that not only makes him rich but hurts as many Americans as possible.

At some point, even the most naive among us should realize (not that they will) that Trump's sinking of the economy can only be deliberate. No one, even a complete idiot, gets it wrong every damn time. If Trump is innocent of deliberately tanking the economy that would require breaking new ground in human behavior. Trump is an extreme sadist. For whatever reasons that goe back to the day he was born, he is out to get all mankind and he has been emboldened by the results of his mayhem so far in life. Media people, bank vermin, his voters, his CEOs, and the rest of the Trump-supporting community may try to tell us that he's just stupid or a buffoon, but he's gotten as far as he has on the strength of being a marketing savant. People who are good at marketing a person's name and brand (including themselves), to the top are just as good at tearing something, anything, down and ripping it to shreds when their insecurities and dellusions rule them. It's still marketing moves. In Trump’s case, it’s the moves of a despot, a perfect storm of betrayal if not outright treason. And, yet, no one in a position of power or authority wants to point it out and call it what it is. They love that status quo.

Trump's shutdown rhetoric, appointment of a FOX "News" bimbo as U.N. ambassador, the removal of Gen. Mattis, the appointment of Betsy DeVos, the Tax Scam, his KKK approach to voting rights, his removal of environmental protections and regulations, his attacking the FED, his raising the stature of Kim Jong-un in the world, his catering to every whim of Putin and attacks on NATO, the mishandling Syria, his war on women, his war on healthcare for veterans and all Americans, his personal use of his charity’s funds even when they are meant to aid children with cancer, his xenophobia, his general virulent racism, shutting down research for a cure for AIDS, Children dying in cages, withdrawing from the Paris agreement on Climate Change... all of these things can only be done with one end result in mind, the tarnishing of America's image so badly that confidence in America and its economy crashes to the ground. Doing one or two of these things can be chalked up to a difference in political thought. All of them? That is being an American-hating, even humanity-hating mental case, and a Manchurian President. Regardless of which it is, and regardless of the fact that he appears to be all three, the result is the same and that result is getting worse by the day as those who could do something about it emulate Nero and fiddle away the country.

2018 In Review: Sex-Obsessed Hypocrite Edition-A Holiday Cornucopia Of Republican Wackos. The Whole World Is Watching, Part 10.

>

by Noah

Yesterday, I wrote about a handful of the Republican Party’s Nazi brethren. But, hey, enough of Republicans who worship Nazis and Nazis who worship republicans. The two are interchangeable anyway, so let’s proceed. How about some sex-crazed republicans? Republicans are always so obsessed with other people’s sex lives that they live by a “do as I say not as I do” “religious” creed. Their eager support of Judge Roy Moore for Senator and the attitudes they displayed during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings went even further than that. But then, what would we expect from 62 million people who voted for a sexual predator for president knowing exactly what he was. 55% of them will actually tell you that sexual assault is no biggie. And that’s just the ones that will say it publicly.

And so, without further ado, a small sample of Republicans who exemplify the rest of their party of hypocrites:

1. Dennis Hof – Kinda sounds like a Nazi already. I wonder if he liked to be addressed as Herr Hof. I used the past tense because Hof is dead. He has ceased to be! No matter though! Nevada Republicans voted for him for a position in their state Assembly anyway. It just didn’t matter. Neither did the fact that Hof, who considered himself a Trump protégé, was a pimp. Hof, discovered by porn star Ron Jeremy, enjoyed the backing of Trump associate Roger Stone and tax-cut activist Grover Norquist.

2. Ralph Shortey (R-OK)  Shortey, a former Oklahoma State Senator received his sentence for child sex trafficking in September, 15 years in the slammer followed by 10 years of supervised probation if he gets out alive. Shortey, 36, faced anywhere from 10 years to life. He was a prominent critic of Oklahoma’s anti-trans “bathroom bill” but, you guessed it, he was caught in a Super 8 Motel with a 17-year-old boy, an open box of condoms, and enough texts on his phone to put him away for life with Bubba.

3. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) – When Jim Jordan, a former Assistant Wrestling Coach at Ohio State was asked about claims that there was sexual abuse of some of the wrestlers during his time on the job and that Jordan had to have known about it, Jordan pulled a Nixon and said he didn’t recall any such thing. Funny about that: 8 former wrestlers said that Jordan had to have been aware but did nothing. Had republicans kept control of the House Of Representatives, Jordan was a likely republican choice for Speaker Of The House. Paul Ryan called him “a man of honesty and a man of integrity.” Now, THAT’S a character witness! Keep in mind that this is the Roy Morre/Brett Kavanaugh Republican Party.

4. Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-PA) – You know how repugs like to blame Obamacare for all of the world’s problems? Well, it seems that in the Republican Mind you can even blame sexual harassment on Obamacare. Meehan had been chosen to investigate sexual harassment in the House Of Representatives by none other than Speaker Paul Ryan who had placed him on the House Ethics Committee and assigned him that specific task. Republicans just have no sense of irony at all!

When Meehan harassed a member of his own staff and she rebuffed him, even citing her relationship with another man, Meehan just couldn’t deal with it. He lost his temper and lashed out. Things were so uncomfortable for her at the Meehan office that she began doing her work remotely rather than come to the office. When she filled a complaint, Meehan was removed from the Ethics Committee. After all, Republicans don’t mind being assholes; they just don’t want to look like assholes.

Meehan offered a novel excuse for his behavior. He said he was feeling tense due to strenuous discussions about Obamacare with his 7th District constituents. He even offered that he does, from time to time lash out at staffers and that sometimes “you go hardest at those that you care the most about.” Creepy!

Eventually a settlement was reached but Meehan does not deny using taxpayer funds to pay for the settlement.

5. Jim Knoblach – Minnesota 8 term Republican state representative abruptly ended his campaign for a 9th term this year after his 23-year-old daughter said that he had molested her for a 12 year period which began when she was 9. According to police reports, she had first made the accusations 2 years ago but says “My family threatened and coerced me into silence for almost 15 years.”

6. Tim Nolan – Former judge Nolan was Chairman of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Kentucky. In February, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for child sex trafficking. Too bad, maybe he could have been nominated to the Supreme Court.

7. Judge Ralph Strother – Just 3 weeks ago, Strother let former Baylor University fraternity president, Jacob Walter Anderson, skate after he was accused of raping a female student at the Christian university in Texas. A plea deal had Anderson pleading guilty to a lesser charge of unlawful restraint. The accuser and her family found out about the deal when they read about it in the local newspaper. Strother and local law enforcement couldn’t even bother to let them know.

I suppose Strother is one of those “If it’s a legitimate rape” guys. Either that or he’s one of those “really no such thing as rape” guys. Strother has a past record of dealing with Baylor men accused of rape very leniently. He received both his bachelor and law degrees from Baylor. Speaks well of Baylor's style of Christianity doesn't it? Republicans probably consider Strother to be future Supreme Court material and, if Anderson were to attend law school and become a judge...

8. President Donald Trump – That Trump is a sadist is beyond discussion. He simply is, and he really has it in for people infected with HIV. He has a bad case of Republican “Fear The Gay Syndrome” so this is a reflection of that.

Trump has just quietly shut down research for a cure for HIV. Obviously, the republican attitude towards the LGBTQ community was a factor in his sadistic, judgmental decision. The action also pleases the religious right mightily. I’m guessing that Trump is so ignorant that he doesn’t know that you don’t have to be gay to get HIV.

9. Vice President Mike Pence – How could I possibly mention little Donnie Trump and his “Fear Of The Gay” without mentioning his sicko choice of VP? In January, Mr. Gay Conversion Therapy was sent to South Korea to represent our government at the Winter Olympics. Pence just couldn’t keep his tongue quiet though as he lashed out at a gay Olympic skater. I guess “Mother” was left at home, sitting in her rocker in the attic.

10. Rep. Matt Shea (R-WA) – Shea is a Republican state representative in Washington. This year Shea published his 4-page manifesto calling for Biblical Law (Think of it as Republican Christianity’s own version of Sharia Law), but, to Republicans, their version is just peachy. Among other twisted things, Shea calls for the usual outlawing of abortion and same sex marriage. He has added a little extra, though. Shea says that men who support gay marriage and abortion rights should be executed. He’s obviously put a lot of thought into this. Interestingly, he seems more concerned about men than women in his manifesto. Hmmm.

So much of Republican thought about sex is based in their twisted version of Christianity and its message of hate. Shea defends his manifesto while making insane claims that he is being persecuted and that the United States is really a Christian nation. This guy, like so many republicans, would make great fodder for a doctoral thesis for students of psychiatry.

2018 In Review: Special NAZI Edition-A Holiday Cornucopia Of Republican Wackos. The Whole World Is Watching, Part 9

>

by Noah

Well, the year is almost over and my annual year in review will soon come to an end. But, before I get to that point, I thought it might be nice to shine a light on some of the other lesser republican nutjobs, assorted party luminaries, up and comers, relative unknowns, and ordinary Republican citizens alike. Today’s installment is a small sample of Republicans who really let their Nazi flag fly in 2018. That’s not to ignore the fact that to be a Nazi is to be a Republican and vice-versa, but I’ve chosen these few Hitler worshipers for special mention. They are just choice examples of what it is to be a republican in 2018.

1. Rep. Steve King (KKK-IA) – How could I not start with the pride of Iowa himself, Steve King. This Steve King is not to be confused with the famous author Stephen King. That Steve King is a swell guy and a progressive. He writes horror stories. Iowa’s Steve King IS a horror story. He is proud of what he is and so are Iowa voters who keep re-election him no matter what he says of or does. He is a racist par-excellence and that sits fine with them. King may be best known for his 2013 statement that immigrants are mostly evil marijuana smugglers with “calves the size of cantaloupes.” But this year he gave a whole charred hearted endorsement to a white supremacist mayoral candidate in Toronto.

King also made some headlines this year when he said that members of an Austrian Nazi party called Austria’s Freedom Party would all be Republicans if they came to the U.S. He’s correct of course. None of this fazed Iowans one bit. He was reelected in November.

2. Arthur Jones - Arthur Jones was the Republican Party’s nominee in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District in the 2018 Midterms. Jones received over 20,000 votes in the local GOP Primary after, amazingly or not, running unopposed. He was picked to run against incumbent Democrat Dan Lipinski. After the primary the fact that Jones is a Nazi and a Holocaust Denier made the national news. Local Republicans suddenly claimed to be shocked and appalled. It was “We had no idea wink wink” time. Some even suggested that Republicans abstain from voting. Of course, they could, if they had wanted to make sure their guy didn’t win, recommend that their voters vote for Lipinski who might as well be a Republican anyway. Jones got over 56,000 votes from Nazi-supporting Republicans (very fine people) in his district but he lost. Sounds like the Illinois 3rd isn’t a great place to live or even pass through.

Oh, and Jones wasn’t the only Neo-Nazi who ran as a Republican in 2018. There’s Sean Donahue, Republican House candidate in Illinois, Paul Nehlen Republican House candidate in Wisconsin, and Patrick Little Republican Senate candidate in California; just to name 3. Fortunately, they didn’t get to their goal but just the fact that they were able to run in the Republican Party speaks volumes.

3. Susan Lamerton – And speaking of Nazi-supporting republicans (very fine people), Tampa, Florida TV station WFLA reported that neighbors described the decorations outside realtor Susan Lamerton’s house in New Port Richie, FL as “pure hate.” The Nazi-themed decorations featured skeletons dressed as concentration camp victims, replete with Stars of David on their chests and tattoos. Some of the skeletons were seen giving a Heil Hitler salute, and a sign near them reads “Arbeit Macht Frei,” the German phrase translating to “work sets you free” that was emblazoned on the gates of Auschwitz and other concentration camps. A search of Lamerton’s social media accounts revealed that last year, she shared posts from the Angry Patriot Movement blog, a pro-Trump fake news website.

“Drain the swamp and send the idiots home,” the realtor wrote alongside a link that claimed Donald Trump got “the final laugh” during a battle of words with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA). Lamerton’s “Liked” pages include “Team Trump,” her county’s Republican Party page and pages for Melania Trump and Donald Trump Jr. There was no word as to whether or not Lamerton would be hired to design the staging for the 2020 Republican National Convention.

4. Walter Kanzler - Or should we call him Walter KKKanzler? KKKanzler, a Florida (There’s that state again!) gun dealer celebrated National Gun Day by openly selling his wares at the Kentucky Expo Center. He offered Nazi Christmas ornaments and KKK robes at his table. KKKanzler’s homepage features a Nazi hat with a swastika. KKKanzler claims he has no political agenda. The Kentucky State Fair board says it is now, finally in 2018, considering a ban on such items at its venues.

5. Tucker Carlson – Tucker Carlson, the prime time pride of FOX “News” and Neo-Nazis all across the land! Carlson has made a career of fighting the idea that diversity of any kind is an American value, has repeatedly attacked the NAACP and called it a joke, and often tried to play down the effects of slavery on the human psyche. In Carllson’s disturbed mind, “the Mexicans” are interfering with our elections by “packing the electorate.” But, his top moment of Nazism this year was his claim that “white genocide” is going on right now in South Africa. In your deluded dreams, Tucker. In your deluded dreams. Carlson has gotten so encouraged by his viewers and FOX “News” employers that even one top conservative (just one apparently), Bill Kristol, stated in his blog that Carlson’s show is now “close to racism.” Really? Ya think? Close?

6. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) – So often it’s Florida! What a shocker. When it came time for the 2018 State Of The Union Address back in January, most people in congress invited their wives, husbands, hurricane victims, recently returned military personnel, a person from their district who saved innocent lives… you get the picture. Not Rep. Gaetz of Florida’s 1st District! Of all of the people he could have invited, he invited a real Holocaust-denying, white nationalist NAZI named Chuck Johnson! Way to go Gaetz! You just took that giant leap out of your Nazi closet and showed the world what you are! Were you just trying to curry favor with Trump and the rest of the Republican Party leadership. Was that it? If so, I’m sure you succeeded. I’m guessing your district is quite a bunch of goosesteppers. When the controversy over his guest surfaced, Gaetz said he didn’t know about Johnson’s Nazi beliefs. Qutoe, “I had no idea who he was.” Yeah, right. You invite the guy to be your guest at an ultra high profile national event and you just didn’t know much about him. Sure. Gaetz’s love of Nazis didn’t perturb voters in his district at all. In fact, it probably helped. He was reelected in November. Flor-i-duh.

2018 In Review: FOX Asylum Escapees Addendum- The Sad Tale Of An Orphan Named Megyn Kelly. The Whole World Is Watching, Part 8

>

by Noah

Megyn Kelly never should have left her comfort zone of FOX News. She was there for 10 years. Being blonde and bigoted, she fit in perfectly and she had no problem saying whatever racist thought popped into her mind. For Megyn Kelly, working at Fox might as well have been like working at Lester Maddox’s Restaurant in early 1960s Georgia. She could say anything racist, anything at all. It was at FOX where she famously proclaimed that Santa Claus is white, that Jesus is white, and that if anyone disagreed, they should just get over it. Sure, that made waves, but at GOP-TV that wasn’t going to cost her her job. In fact, it made her a high-paid star to republicans everywhere.

After her 10 years at FOX, the idea that Megyn Kelly is a racist shouldn’t have surprised anyone in America who has been paying even a little attention. The Trump-voting half of America loves her for it even though Trump doesn’t like her. The two may not like eachother but both are racist so it’s all just fine and dandy. It’s c’mon, can’t we all get along? The tiff between Megyn and Donald was never going to be a big deal, even with misogyny on the part of Trump. Hell, that’s just a bonus to some people!

Then Kelly’s contract was coming up for renewal and a proven corporate imbecile at NBC, ironically named Andy Lack threw a lot of cash at her and hired her away from FOX to work at NBC. FOX didn’t sweat it, knowing that they had plenty more racists in their stable with which to replace her. Did Lack find her racism appealing and think it would be a plus for NBC? Or, did he, just as stupidly, think leopards really do change their spots. Who knows, but the fact that he would hire a flaming racist speaks volumes and what he really did was hire a ticking time bomb and that time bomb proved that you can take a person out of FOX News but you can’t take FOX News out of the person. They were there for a reason in the first place.

That time bomb went off in October during Kelly’s hour on NBC’s flagship today show. Way to go Lack! Way to go! Since Kelly had already demonstrated her penchant for matching up her inner racist child with holidays, and she had already checked Christmas and Easter off her list, she came up with a way to be racist for Halloween and it was special. Kelly said that white folks dressing up in blackface for Halloween is just fine and dandy with her. No candy for you, Megyn! No candy for you! How much you wanna bet that she wanted to do her whole Halloween show in blackface and do it talking in a fake “negro” accent ala Amos and Andy? I bet she practices that at home with her husband while singing to a collection of lawn jockeys. Sing “Mammy” for us, Megyn! Sing it! Go ahead. You know you want to. Is the camera on?

The end result of her latest outburst of Republican thought was a bye-bye from NBC.

For Lack, the decision was probably made all the more easy by the fact that her new NBC Sunday night show was losing out to 60 Minutes reruns and Kelly had already driven 400,000 viewers away from the 9:00am hour of “Today” compared to when it was hosted by two people of color, Al Roker and Tamron Hall. That’s 13% of the audience gone. Not good. Not good at all. How much do you wanna bet that the fact that she drew so many fewer viewers than Roker and Hall really gets on Kelly’s racist psyche? Get over it, Megyn!

It’s doubtful that Kelly will ever return to FOX but don't fret for her. It's not like someone has ripped her from her family and stuffed her in a cage. Kelly did burn some bridges though by leaving in a huff when she went to NBC, and, of course, there’s the issue of being declared persona non grata by Trump. Plus FOX just doesn’t need her. I’m sure, however, that, in the very unlikely event that FOX ever does run out of racists, they would accept an audition tape of up-to-date racist comments in a talk show or news program setting. Or, maybe she could just change her name to Kelly Megyn. As long as she was plenty racist, FOX executives and viewers would embrace her without ever making the connection.

The whole thing was a huge lose-lose for the inept Lack. Tamron Hall left NBC when it was revealed that she, a successful, accomplished and popular African-American journalist and host with good ratings would suddenly be dumped in favor of a racist. I’m guessing Lack just never saw that coming. Hall was quickly snapped up by ABC and will have a new show there in 2019.

2018 In Review - And Now A Word From The Asylum Escapees At Trump TV. The Whole World Is Watching, Part 7

>

by Noah

At DWT, we watch FOX "News" so you don't have to, although, if you want to see inside the crazy house... just steel yourself and promise yourself you won't scream or tear out your hair. The above clip is a good example of how far gone the wackos and buffoons holding court are at what Josef Goebbels would regard with orgasmic delight.

There have been changes at FOX "News" in recent times but you'd never know it. Creator Roger Ailes is gone. He died in 2017 after leaving in a shitstorm of sexual harassment claims and comparisons to Jabba the Hutt. I wish he was still alive so that I could ask him if the infamous Orson Wells panic–inducing 1938 radio broadcast of War Of The Worlds was his inspiration for how easily you can fool mass numbers of people by merely giving them your fictional story with a few cosmetic trappings of a real event.

It was Ailes, a former Nixon aide (Say no more!), who first came up with the idea of FOX “News” and actually called it GOP-TV. Ailes was not only an aide to Nixon. He was a media consultant for Ronald Reagan and Daddy Bush. He also worked for Rudy “Crazy Rudy” Giuliani’s first mayoral campaign and Trumpanzee’s “presidential” campaign. He especially assisted Trump with debate preparation.

If you take another look at the particulars of the last paragraph, you can see the obvious DNA and bias of the Faux News Network. Taking into consideration of who and what Ailes was, one can easily guess that it was Ailes who coached Trump to lurk menacingly behind Hillary Clinton as she spoke at the debates. (She should have wheeled and kicked his tiny balls up to his throat right then and there). In any event, someone of the insidious character of Ailes was a perfect match for Trump.

Former boss Bill Shines is also gone, taking his own stench of sexual harassment charges to a job at the Trump White House where he can be with his own kind. Bill O'Reilly, likewise left with the same cloud and is exiled to pathetic Newsmax TV and writing books about historical figures that are the literary equivalent of fake wooden floors at a cheap hotel chain. But not to worry, the hypocrisy endemic to all far right conservatives is still thriving at FOX. That was perfectly evident in their ignoring of this year’s Ivanka Trump email scandal after spending years denouncing Hillary Clinton for the same thing, just as the clip above alludes.

FOX, in fact, now has a nearly all buffoon roster filled with the White Nationalist likes of the uber-smarmy Tucker Carlson, the Hitler saluting Laura Ingraham, fellow White Nationalist and Trump advisor Sean Hannity, screaming hell-banshee Jeanine Pirro, something called Tomi Lahren, angry house dementia patient Lou Dobbs, and the usual cavalcade of crazies like the aforementioned saliva-spraying Trump "lawyer" Rudy Giuliani and Neo-Nazi Sebastian Gorka, a former White House aide to Senor Trumpanzee.

How bad has FOX news gotten in just the past year? You would of course, think it could not possibly get any worse than it was in the Obama years. It was a measure then of how far already gone into the far right sewer they were when they freaked out about the very event of the right down the middle establishment centrist Senator from Illinois being elected President. It was more about skin color than what they called liberal politics though. Their non-stop birtherism made that obvious enough and when he got re-elected, they went even further off the deep end.

How far off the deep end? How much further can you go than saying that the United States of America needs a Putin or, even better, Putin himself? How much further than putting a completely insane former mayor on every night? How much further than full-blown 24-hour praise and support of a sadist named Donald Trump and his policies like he’s the new Republican Jesus? Not to worry. FOX has reached a new low and all indications are that they will always do so. Trump has emboldened them to push their agenda of insanity even further. They are now nothing but a conspiracy channel, to the great delight of their supporters in the Republican Party, and, of course, their viewers.

This year saw FOX “News” devote hours and hours to one of their favorite conspiracies, a conspiracy that revolves around the death of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich. In the hive mind of GOP-TV, Mr. Rich was murdered by none other than Hillary Clinton or her associates. FOX viewers craved the details of the made up story every day and every night, eagerly tuning in to see the likes of Hannity, Geraldo Rivera and New Gingrich pontificate on the this classic bit of real fake news.

The disgraceful exploitation of a murder victim got so bad that Seth Rich’s family, after being hurt by the death of Seth became hounded by Republicans to attack Clinton. They rightly ended up suing FOX to cease and desist instead. FOX eventually retracted their bullshit conspiracy story and the suit was dropped. Of course, FOX never apologized, not that you would expect such people to apologize for their evil. The conspiracy had its origins in the work of Ed Butowsky, a friend of Trump aide Steve Bannon.

How about Sean Hannity, an aide to Trumpanzee, suggesting Trump associates, live on national prime time TV, no less, to destroy their cell phones and other devices that they use to communicate with dear leader so Robert Mueller can’t get them and find out any details of what they’ve been up to? That’s blatantly in the realm of evidence tampering and obstruction of justice. After a commercial break, Hannity came back and hastily claimed that he was just kidding. Obviously, someone in the FOX legal department or someone with a working brain reached Hannity and told him to walk it all back. None of that matters, of course, once the message is put out there, and they know it.

FOX “News” keeps pushing the envelope further. We already have gun-crazed, FOX-watching lunatics thinking they have been granted permission or social approval to go shooting up people and places. What will FOX do next? Offer live on TV bomb-making instructions like an Al Qaeda internet site?

In October, FOX pushed their conspiracy theory that Democrats who had received pipe bombs had sent them to themselves. FOX promoted their latest conspiracy with a parade of FOX “News” experts and pundits. Goofball Geraldo Rivera even claimed that he didn’t want to sound like a “far-right lunatic” while he did so.

On FOX, only Shepherd Smith can pass for sane, conservative, but sane. He is tainted just the same. It’s hard to figure out what he’s doing there. Smith’s existence at the FOX “News” asylum can only be explained as some sort of “Broadcast News” meets “Shawshank Redemption” without the redemption. Perhaps, he just likes being stuck in an asylum, afraid to venture out into the real world beyond the walls.

See if you can tell satire of FOX “News” from the real one. It’s pretty hard.

2018 In Review: The Paul Ryan Obituary, Homicidal Maniac With A Pen. The Whole World Is Watching, Part 6.

>

by Noah

Speaker Paul "Crazy Eyes" Ryan, the pride of Janesville, Wisconsin, is almost Ex-Speaker Paul "Crazy Eyes" Ryan now. On the long list of Speakers of the House, Ryan's tainted name will forever linger towards the bottom of the Speaker quality list. The mystery should be how did such a profoundly unqualified person get as far as he did, but, then you look around him and it adds a perfect perspective. In a Washington World of Louie Gohmerts and other single digit IQ wonders, the man whose IQ breaks 70 is bound to be king, or at least Speaker.

Ryan was just smart enough to float to the top like the gasbag he has no doubt been since birth. From there, he set out to hurt as many Americans as he possibly could with his efforts to have them suffer or die simply due to a lack of affordable medical care, and fighting to fill their air and streams with as many carcinogens as possible, all while sadistically dangling even low-paying jobs forever just out of their reach. Then there's his infamous role in the Trump/Ryan Tax Scam where he promised a booming economy that would lift all up the economic ladder. The economy went boom alright.

To top it all off, Paul Ryan wanted to used the deficit disaster results of his tax plotting as an excuse to do away with Medicare and Social Security altogether. In his outgoing speech he arrogantly stated that he regretted not getting to do that. He, like all Republicans, called Social Security an "entitlement" even though we paid for it with our own money every week of our working lives, unless of course, we made more than about $118,000 per year, in which case we paid nothing and still got it.

Ryan is a man who lived on his father's government benefits and even went to school on them, but, for Ryan and those like him, it will always be a case of "I got mine Jack. Screw you!" To top it off, Ryan will have a lifetime pension paid for by the people he devoted his life to screwing. Swell guy. Can you imagine being the child of such a villainous cretin? If that was my father, I would see my options as changing my name and running away asap, or doing the universe a big favor by burying him behind a fake wall in the basement. And then, as a final twist, I'd live off his benefits and pay for a law school education with them. It's always best in this world to have a strong sense of irony.

Most guys like Paul Ryan would never have gotten out of Janesville. He would have remained a townie all his life, perhaps starting out with a porno video store or doing classic late night TV ads for his own Paul Ryan Used Cars. It wouldn't have been just any used car lot either. It would have failed after enough people bought enough cars that suffered brake failure or broken axels as soon as the new owners drove them off the lot. He would have sold cars that came with cracked engine blocks and, most appropriately, leaking oil lines. The brake failures would have caused deaths but who cares? As the naive and gullible customers happily drove away, he would have waved and smirked the classic smirk he's known for as he counted the cash. He probably would have even had a side business of used watches that he slyly removed from the wrists of customers as he shook their hands.

Are you worried about what will become of Paul Ryan? Well, ideally, he'll go down for being an accessory to Trump and McConnell's crimes. Remember, he was in charge of Devin Nunes and his fake House investigation of Trump, But, no. Get real.

Instead you can expect Paul Ryan to be come a highly paid K Street Bagman. Or, maybe, he'll follow his role model Trump's past and become a racist landlord with a fake mail order university, bilking money from the fools who fall for his cons. Failing that, Pat Robertson will be dead soon and Ryan can replace him as a hate-filled fake Christian flim-flam man who spends his days blaming the world's problems on "The Gays" and Obama. He's got practice at that sort of thing and people will still stuff his pockets with cash.

Fuck you, Paul Ryan. And the pig you rode in on. Your very fraudulence and your cons will plague us all for a very long time. Real Americans, hurt by your evil, have already fantasized a thousand ways for you to meet your karmic payback. Mine involves you walking too close to the accelerating engine of a brand new Boing 787. What a damn, stinking mess.

2018 In Review: $enate Majority Leader McConnell Puts A Price On Freedom And Pockets The Cash. The Whole World Is Watching, Part 5.

>

by Noah

Mitch McConnell: Accomplice in Trump's betrayal of America. Call him Accomplice #1. As Majority Leader, MConnell not only pushes Trump's agenda of policies and nominations, he is Trump's eager protector, ignoring his sworn oath, saying and doing nothing to protect the United States and The Constitution. Putin and his Bots may have pushed Trump over the top, helping him win Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania with a perfectly coordinated and targeted campaign of misinformation and "fake news" that his idiot supporters still believe but Mitch the Treason Turtle has enabled and supported Trump's continued wrecking of America every day since. In fact, when, even before the 2016 election, President Obama followed protocol and informed McConnell of Russia's meddling on behalf of Comrade Trump. Obama suggested a bipartisan statement on the situation. McConnell refused and did nothing. It's pretty safe to say that he and the rest of the Republican Party higher-ups already knew anyway. As for Obama, hindsight is 20/20 but at that point, he should have just gone public with it on primetime TV instead of putting other diplomatic issues first, but Obama, being ridiculously polite and afflicted with a severe strain of his constant civility, chose the traditional wimp-out Democratic Party approach, i.e., do nothing-say nothing. Imagine if things had been the other way around.

So, let's call for McConnell's emails! Surely, there must be a hacker or security agency somewhere who has them. And, since there is nothing in the Constitution that says a sitting president can't be indicted, I'm sure there's nothing in the Constitution that says a sitting $enate Majority Leader can't be indicted either, not that one ever will be. The biggest crime involving McConnell (and House Speaker Ryan for that matter) is that no one is calling for him to be thoroughly investigated, indicted, and hauled before a jury. What additional indicators that McConnell is aiding and abetting the brotherhood of Trump and Putin in their repeated attacks on America do we need? Just the fact that McConnell has repeatedly refused to even bring protections for the Mueller Investigation to a vote in the Senate tells you where he stands. Combine that with his pre-election silence and you know he has chosen not to defend America against our Russian adversary. Continuing to ignore McConnell is insane. The disease that is Mitch McConnell has been ignored far, far too long. The vast majority of the mainstream media has, thus far given him a free pass, a get out of jail free card. It's like ignoring a local outbreak of the black plague and thinking it won't spread. Well, it has spread, and the result is Trump, McConnell's partner in crime, wrecking havoc on this country for the benefit of Russia, China and, to a growing extent (See Syria) the world.

But of course there is much more. Fully delineating McConnell's corruption would take a full book or perhaps an encyclopedia, yet he goes unscathed. I won't even bother here with how McConnell's bank accounts have exponentially grown since he became $enate Majority Leader or even before, nor, will I bother to give a look into his wife's fortune and how her father grew it. Just the fact that McConnell eagerly accepted in $3.5 million "campaign contributions" from Russian oligarch Len Blavatnik between 2015 and 2017 should raise public questions but it hasn't. Perhaps McConnell is just lucky that there is someone above him that is even more corrupt that everyone is paying attention to, but, Blavatnik, an Odessa-born man who made his fortune in the aftermath of the break up of the Soviet Union like so many oligarch's is reportedly among those with Russian connections that are on Robert Mueller's radar. Blavatnik is now a naturalized American citizen with dual citizenship. He claims not to be an oligarch himself but moves very freely in those circles. It's an "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck" scenario. Here in the U.S. he hangs out with the likes of Harvey Weinstein and Brett Ratner as he makes attempts at rising in the film industry while he is, since 2011, the owner of the Warner Music Group. He's also a philanthropist and he contributes freely to Republican politicians, not just McConnell but also Senators Lindsay Graham and Marco Rubio.

Through Blavatnik's 1st degree connections, you can draw a straight line between McConnell and Putin with Blavatnik in the middle. 6 degrees of separation is laughably unnecessary. Blavatnik came to America at the age of 21 and received a Masters degree in computer science from Columbia University. After that, he teamed up with an old classmate from his teenage years at the Moscow Institute of Transport Engineers named Viktor Vekselberg. If the name Viktor Vekselberg sounds a bit familiar to you, Vekselberg was detained by Robert Mueller's agents as he entered our country earlier this year. Vekselberg was a guest at Comrade Trump's inauguration and met with Michael Cohen shortly before. Vekselberg was photographed at a 2015 dinner in Russia sitting next to... wait for it... Gen. Michael Flynn. In the typically reserved New York Times style, The Times said that the detaining of Vekselberg "suggests that the special counsel has intensified his focus on potential connections between Russian oligarchs and the Trump campaign and inauguration committee." It may be time to turn over the next rock, the one under which Mitch McConnell lives. Let's see what Trump and Putin are getting for that $3.5 million. It seems we already know.

The failure of the mainstream media to expose the treachery, danger to, and betrayal of America by Mitch McConnell is every bit if not more of a failure to the American people than its constant broadcasting of Trump's complete rallies virtually every night of the 2016 campaign. In 2016, they promoted Trump right into the White House. In 2018, they protect his protector in the $enate.

For additional reading, I suggest this fine article in The Nation on the corruption of Comrade Trump's Republican Party by Russian rubles. If it hasn't already, it will spread and become fully bi-partisan. What we tolerate grows.

2018 In Review: The Republican Mind Continues To Turn Into Mush. The Whole World Is Watching, Part 4.

>

by Noah

Friday December 14th was the grim anniversary of the 2012 Newtown, CT. massacre of 27 elementary school children and school staff, a massacre that, sadly, many deranged Republicans will still tell you is a hoax. They will tell you that "crisis actors" played the roles of the victims and that it was all a production of the "fake news" media. I've personally heard this from the lips of such people right out in public. This year, the murders at Parkland, FL brought more of the same. These people "know" what they "know" to be true because they've heard it from their own "news" sources like FOX and Alex Jones's Info Wars and The Internet. Even Republican congressional aides will spread the tale.

The Rrepublican mind can believe horrific real events are hoaxes at the same time it believes that real threats to their families and their very existence are to be applauded and supported. Outside the courthouse at last week's sentencing hearing for Gen. Flynn, patriotic Americans called for Flynn to be locked up while pro-Flynn Republican protesters cheered Flynn's massive betrayal of America by repeatedly chanting "USA! USA! USA!" This kind of perverse, upside down thinking is the devil's workshop of the republican mind at work. The reality of Republican voters is as jumbled as the reality of the people they vote for. That's why they vote for them. Cases in point: Der Leader Trump's garbled, insane tweets which Republicans hover around as if their twitter accounts are oracles connected directly to Republican God and Republican Jesus. Then, there are the Louie Gohmert and Trey Gowdy-told fairytales of Benghazi, the obsession with Hillary's emails, the stories they regale eachother with about pedophile rings run out of basements of Washington pizza shops that don't even have basements. There's also that the favorite Trump/Ryan tax bill fairytale that tax cuts will miraculously get them a job, a new car of their choice, and a college education for their children, all while not adding to the deficit at all, even lowering it! Sure, whatever you say! How's that working out? They could do the math, of course, but obviously even Republican math is different. It's Bizarro World Math, and why wouldn't it be? It's just like rape isn't really rape! If he wasn't black, Republicans would have eagerly run Bill Cosby for president instead of Trump on the grounds that good old Dr. Huxtable is more engagingly likable. All this ties together in the mush of their minds. Mush minds are easy to manipulate. "Tell me lies. Tell me sweet little lies." Comforting lies. Lies you can live your life by. Lies wrapped in the trilogy of your hates, your fears and even a burning cross. You can put on your stupid red hat and go to rallies and hear the Republican Hit Parade Of Lies directly from the mouth of the president you elected to tell you those lies, over and over and over again. Mush minds will believe anything they're told as long as it's dressed up in that trilogy. Preferably it's of a racist or misogynistic variety. That trilogy is the conveyance for all things in the world as they see it.

So, it's easy for minds like the ones republicans nurture to believe that caravans of "brown people" of every sort are headed for their front yards or places business or worship to kill them. When they are told every 15 minutes leading up to an election that those caravans are filled with Mexican gangs, Middle Eastern terrorists, and even Hondurans carrying the plague of small pox, a disease that was wiped out decades ago, they don't just buy the con, they embrace it. They cherish it like it's a warm glowing golden orb. It fits their sick world view. It makes the world make sense just like the only way that Obama could have been elected was by illegals voting and African-Americans voting twice or even thrice. And, he wasn't even born here! A black man in the White House! The world has turned upside down! The world has gone insane! Save us Trump! Undo his dastardly deeds! Healthcare? We'd rather die!

It's only a matter of time before you run into a Republican who will tell you, with a straight face and an earnest belief, that Obama and Hillary, with the aid of MS-13, went back in time to fake the moon landing so that they could sell our uranium to the Russians while we were distracted watching the landing on TV. And, meanwhile Robert Mueller conspired with Michael Cohen to pay off Stormy Daniels, not to be quiet about a tryst with their big orange god that never happened, but to create a distraction while teams of immigrants conspired to enter the United States to take their guns, shoes, and menial jobs, all while filling the local nursery schools with anchor babies. They will tell you Seth Rich knew all of this. He was gonna tell! That's why they killed him!

Meanwhile, the trouble was coming from in their own mentally disturbed midst. They never it coming. They never saw it going. They never saw it at all.

Here's 2016 Republican Convention star Scott Baio on the subject. He co-starred with Gen.Flynn, Rudy "America's Loon" Giuliani, Nazi-saluting Laura Ingraham and a whole parade of speakers that the Republican National Committee was proud to put forth. 63,000,000 Republicans loved the circus and eagerly voted for the ringmaster. Polls show they would eagerly do it again and Republican Senators and Congressmen see no reason to remove him from the scene. For them, it's Country Last. What more do you need to know about the Republican mind in 2018?

2018 In Review: Rudy Giuliani, The Ghoul Of New York The Whole World Is Watching, Part 3

>

by Noah

Ever leave a carved Halloween pumpkin out on the front steps to long? They have a funny way of deteriorating. As they rot, dents form as the bacteria and maggots chew away from the inside. They destroy the support fibers of the outer skin and it sags inward. Same thing happens to any vegetable or fruit. Eventually, it passes from being something for a squirrel or rat to randomly nibble on to a nice place for flies to lay their eggs. As I watch the deterioration of Rudy Giuliani, it seems that every day, he is, both mentally and physically undergoing a very similar process. What will soon come creeping out of those darkened dead eyes?

Rudy Giuliani is the poster boy for "Shoulda quit while he was ahead" and I don't mean just recently. He could have quietly left the scene years ago and people would have a very different image of him than they do now. Right up through the day before 9/11, he was detested by a large majority of New Yorkers who had finally caught on to his bullshit. Then came the horror of 9/11. Helped along by the corporate media, Rudy played the role of "calming presence" and his reputation and poll ratings grew like an unchecked virus. He had once again revved up his PR savvy, the same savvy that had earlier gained him a bloated reputation as a crime busting prosecutor when it was others who had done the real work. He slickly eased into a new and bigger business of being Rudy Giuliani for fun and profit. He did it to a degree even more grandiose than it had been once before. He did it to an extent that was astoundingly beyond pathological. He formed nebulous self-named companies such as Giuliani-Security & Safety having virtually no expertise in the field. It's worth noting that, to this day, no one outside of Rudy's circle seems to know what the company actually does for the money it takes in from the private sector or organizations such as the 2016 Olympic Organizing Committee, or know at least what modicum of "expertise" Rudy brings to the table. The company's website is amateurish and laugh-inducing at best. Middle School kids could do better and do. Rudy also "co-wrote" a book ironically titled "Leadership." He went the route of giving superficial lectures for corporate morons and political groups at $200,000 a pop, and generally set about being as big of a celebrity as possible. He did it all on the backs of the dead of 9/11. There was even a Rudy Giuliani movie starring a miscast James Woods. John Belushi would have done a lot more with the role, alive or dead. Rudy did everything but create a line of Rudy Giuliani 9/11 pasta sauces. In the end, Rudy made himself into nothing but "a noun, a verb and 9/11" as Joe Biden so aptly pointed out.

It all worked well for him for way too long. Several years went by and he was still well thought of by the fools and media sycophants like Wolf Blitzer despite his past horrendous public treatment of his wife, a treatment so bad that his own children stopped even speaking to him. Giuliani thought he was teflon. He thought he was bulletproof. He had his ludicrous unearned and undeserved reputation as "America's Mayor" and a reputation among those who don't know better as great prosecutor. It was all PR hype, of course. So what if he had moved the porno theaters out of Times Square. They were doomed to close with the arrival of the Internet anyway. All he did was move them to Queens and replace them with an equal blight of super-sized fast food joints and tacky, tourist-trap corporate storefronts. It might as well be an over-crowded, filthy version of Orlando now. He exchanged one Mob for another, and you know damn well the original Mob was involved in the construction of every aspect of the new Times Square.

The mention of Orlando should remind us all that Rudy is also the "genius" who has a megalomaniacal affliction so bad that he thought he could be president. Genius business man that he is, he raised $50,000,000 from his corporate sucker friends for his 2008 presidential campaign and got a whole ONE delegate for the money. That delegate was in Flor-i-duh, of course, and that delegate quickly evaporated into thin air.

Think about this: Rudy Giuliani spent $50,000,000 for the nomination and got nowhere. Then, a few years later, along came his even more fraudulent pal Donald Trump and he glued himself to Donnie's campaign in hopes of being Trump's AG. He'd already sung the praises of Vladimir Putin on GOP-TV so he was a natural fit. His ego is so far gone that it doesn't even seem to bother him that a freak like Donnie could pull off what he could not. Don't worry, Rudy, you are not alone on that list.

Rudy just couldn't resist the opportunity to sit in front of the cameras on FOX "News" even more, nearly every night in fact. As his law enforcement contemporaries have always said, Rudy Giuliani has never seen a camera or microphone that he didn't run to. Former FBI Director James Comey references this in his book when, back in earlier days, a supervisor warned him that "the most dangerous place in New York is between Rudy and a microphone." As his insanity grows more and more uncontrollable, he will soon be crashing stages at karaoke bars and wedding receptions, cruising for votes for dogcatcher.

His dementia in full flower now, Rudy Giuliani just has to make himself a center of attraction. He sees himself as a sort of "Trump New York" now. Anything, even that, for the spotlight. He is closer to Trump than ever before. It's like they are Siamese twins in insanity. I'll leave it to the doctors and the scientists to determine which twin gave it to the other. If you told Giuliani he had to strip naked for the camera on Hannity, he would tear off his clothes at blinding super speed. He is anything Trump wants him to be now. He channels the crazy like no other, not even Sarah or Kellyanne. The money is good but the spotlight is even better. He needs it. He craves it. No opioid addiction was ever worse. There he is on FOX "News" every night, feverishly spraying Sean with the froth of his frenzied saliva, showing America and the world what doctors and nurses see in psychiatric institutions every damn day. After Trump is gone, Giuliani will either beg for a chance to run again or have sex with dogs on a carny row in the Flor-i-duh panhandle, just as long as there's a camera and a mic.

The wonderful Jon Oliver had more to say about Rudy earlier this year, shortly after Rudy became Trump's lawyer and ventriloquist dummy. This clip is 15 minutes long and worth every minute. It's a kind of Rudy's Greatest Hits, so far. If you think Rudy's persona has gotten as bad as it can possibly be, just wait. Sooner or later, he will implode and become the whimpering fool h's always been inside. He'll do it on national TV, of course.
