It's not just the Daily Stormer's readers who embrace the above sentiment, it's virtually any republican you may have the misfortune to know. For those of you that aren't familiar with it, the Daily Stormer, also known as TDS, is an American Neo-Nazi, white supremacist and anti-semitic commentary and message board. It is not to be confused with Tucker Carlson's slightly less blatant Daily Caller, although it would be perfectly understandable if you did confuse the two since the goals and messages of the two often appear to be much the same, or, at the least, overlap.

The cartoon I've chosen for tonight's Midnight Meme Of The Day! is also the kind of White Nationalism that Trump's supporters voted for. As evidenced by Trump's rallies, virtually all of them will admit it proudly while a few will lie and claim that's not the case. Denial takes many forms. It's almost easier to have more respect for the former but, really, what does it matter? The bottom line is the same. As I said on Saturday, Trump has made his feelings known for decades. Once he slithered into the White House, he infested his staff with fellow white supremacists like Sebastian Gorka, Stephen Miller, John Kelly, and Kellyanne Conway who just last week asked a Jewish reporter, Andrew Feinberg, "What's your ethnicity?" before she would answer his question. No doubt the White House staff harbors a lot more such "very fine people" where the four I have mentioned come from. They wouldn't be there if they didn't agree with the president on such a horrid thing. Obviously, the Republicans in The House Of Representatives, who voted to embrace their dear leader's statements last week, and Mitch McConnell's smirking Senate minions do.

So, it's all completely out in the open now. Sure, it was obvious before, but so many perilously naive people didn't want to believe it was true; just like the perilously naive said no one would ever fly a plane full of people into a building. Again, as I said, denial takes many forms. I still remember the visceral response and revulsion when, as a youngster, I saw segregated bathrooms and water fountains for the very first time on a family trip to Virginia. It was shocking and life-changing. I remember the television ads and evening news announcements for a KKK rally in North Carolina four years later. Now, in 2019, it's all coming full circle. No. It has already come. It's here. The dreams of white supremacists and their current party, the Republican Party, have come true. They have their man in the White House. The name Trump isn't just a name anymore. It's a symbol for hate and for white supremacy. So is the Republican elephant logo. Anyone who displays a lawn sign that features the name Trump or his party's logo might as well be displaying a swastika.
