Midnight Meme Of The Day!

>

by Noah

Earlier this week, the so-called "Supreme Court" ruled in support of a bigoted baker in Colorado who "felt" that if he had to bake a cake for a same sex marriage, his god would disapprove. Such a god is an asshole and not worth 2 seconds of praise and worship, but that is the kind of god that bigots worship. The baker no doubt thinks that his god deigns to speak with him. Personally, I have never heard these voices in my head but then I am relatively sane, relatively.

So, there you have it. A bunch of supposedly the best people found a way to be narrow-minded and cast their votes, in what is known as a "narrow ruling," for the guy who goes to work at his bakery every day filled with smug self-satisfaction and hearing voices in his head.

Here in New York, we once had a guy who heard a voice, too. That voice also gave instruction. In his head, the guy heard the voice of his neighbor's dog. The dog told him to kill couples parked in lover's lanes, so, he did. He was known as the Son of Sam killer. Funny how often the voices people hear in their heads are way too concerned about other people's sex lives.

By the "Supreme Court's" reasoning, I can only assume that if the Son of Sam guy brought a case before them, they would rule in his favor and allow him to continue his killing spree. Really, are these robed clowns the best we can do? That's strictly a rhetorical question, of course. I know the answer and it is pathetic. It really is only a matter of time before we have to pay for each item in the drug or grocery store at a separate register. It'll be God's will, of course. Brought to you by whining plaintifs who think Washington makes their lives to complicated.

In the aftermath of the court's decision, the baker has become the newest hero to FOX "News" where he appeared with another panel of experts who believe the same as the court, ie. "Fox and Friends." The only apparent difference between the three moronic goofballs on "Fox and Friends" and the "Supreme Court" seems to be that one group wears robes and one doesn't. Oh, and one group needs 9 people to come to the same insane conclusions as the group of 3 morons.

The obvious remedy here is for all commerce to be conducted by atheists.

Everybody's god hates someone... or everyone...

The religious right will have its day of judgment. Keep faith on that, at least. If they honestly ask 'what would Jesus do' when confronted with the current circumstances? The only honest answer has to be 'he would ransack the temple' - he'd lose it - a rare moment of Christ-like righteous rage. But a good vent.

You're making the same fatal mistake that 3 in 4 americans make. You believe there is a god who wastes his time on what stupid delusional earthly hominids do. There isn't any such being. never has been. never will be.

We're on our own on this planet. We'll blow it up sooner rather than later waiting for some mythical being to come rescue us from ourselves (and kill everyone we hate).
