Right-Wing Hack Lawrence Kudlow Reveals That The OccupyWallStreet Movement Plans To Murder Us All

>

Wow! What a zoo! I never watch that freak or any of the paid right-wing shills that dominate the corporate media. But my friend John called up fuming about the above CNBC segment, just at exactly the same time I was meditating on something David Korten wrote in his introduction to Agenda For a New Economy, one of the intellectual pillars of the OccupyWallStreet movement. I don't think Kudlow or his paymasters or his cronies would get it... be they're not Korten's target audience.
The justified public outrage against the breathtaking excesses of Wall Street creates an opportunity to mobilize political support for a New Economy that shifts our economic priorities from making money for rich people to creating better lives for all and that reallocates our economic resources from destructive, or merely wasteful, uses to beneficial ones.

...We face an urgent need for a national and international discourse on economic policy choices that support a bottom-to-top structural transformation of the economy to strengthen community and reallocate resources to where they best serve.

Now, if you've been following along with our daily discussions of The Reactionary Mind, you can well imagine that this kind of talk would send Kudlow right back to the hospital. This kind of talk-- these words just drives these reactionaries bonkers. But they're what the OccupyWallStreet movement is all about... rather than rounding up wingnuts and executing them as Kudlow and his pals-- projecting, no doubt-- fear.

And, remember, it isn't only reactionaries who are afflicted with reactionary minds-- as Rachel Maddow reminded us a few days ago. If you missed it, this is a wonderful little segment about ConservaDems and the damage they do:

Everyone knows what Ben Nelson is-- a very wealthy corporate shill who is always extremely careful to vote with the Republican Party just over 50% of the time (on key issues)-- but who ever would have imagined that Jon Tester would have gone in just five years from being a proud Montana populist to actually advocating positions significantly to the right of corporate whore Max Baucus, Montana's other senator. In fact, I'm sorry to report that he's morphed into Rep. Denny Rehberg, the Tea Party Caucus knucklehead the GOP is running against him next year. So sad... so heartbreaking... so demoralizing. I actually donated to his primary against a DLC hack and then to his general election campaign.

Tester's haircut won the debate for Tester's soul.

BTW, what policies of Tester's are you talking about?
