Adaora Udoji and John Hockenberry of PRI and WNYC's The Takeaway

by Ken

You know how every once in a while you hear a thought that's running through your head come out of the mouth of a TV or radio talking head?

This morning on The Takeaway an Illinois reporter was updating us on the situation with the governor, the lieutenant governor (who acknowledges that he hasn't spoken to the governor since August 2007), and the problem of filling the state's U.S. Senate vacancy. Of course there wasn't really any news, but in passing the reporter made mention of the governor's approval rating dropping to eight percent.
