WILLARD SAYS HE KICKED McCAIN'S ASS IN MAINE TODAY BECAUSE OF... "CONSERVATIVE CHANGE"

>

Collins couldn't do much to save McCain from angry Mainers

I've been saying all along that the Republican nomination is utterly worthless and that the best the winner could aspire to is a vague hope that he gets as many handsomely-paid post-election TV commercials as Bob Dole did. My friend Jane says the camera loves Willard so that could work out well for him in case he needs to replenish Tagg's inheritance, especially after Democrats start turning back the marked propensity of late towards a plutocratic economic agenda. McCain... well, they'd better hurry if they want the ads to seem authentic.

Anyway, Willard owes Tagg cause Tagg was the whole Maine campaign-- and he was up against every elected Republican in the state, from Olympia Snowe to Bush rubber stamp Susan Collins and everything in between-- and Willard won. (Ron Paul nearly beat McCain too-- 19-21%)

The GOP caucuses were well attended-- but not that well when you compare them to the absentee ballots cast for next week's Democratic caucuses. More Democrats have already sent in absentee ballots than all the Republicans who have participated in the GOP boondoggle. This augers really badly for Susan Collins' desperate bid to hold on to her senate seat in November.

According to Arden Manning, Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party, no one is surprised that Willard did well in Maine. "Romney's policies on everything from healthcare to the Iraq war closely mirror those of the Bush Administration, and were he to be elected President, it would be tantamount to a 3rd term of the Bush administration. The base of the Maine Republican Party is clearly out of step with most Maine people, who are looking for change and a new direction in Washington not simply more of the same."

Conservative change? Would that be Larry Craig or Lindsey Graham undergoing gender realignment surgery?
