UPDATE: THE FAR RIGHT BLOGGERS POLL THEMSELVES AND COME UP WITH THE ULTIMATE LOSER (NOT COUNTING BECK)

A few weeks ago we reported on an informal survey among right wing fanatics in terms of what they were looking for from the Republican Party. Today they're reporting a more formal poll. All the looniest and most extremist fanatics online got together and did a "Poll of the Crazy" to see who-- in a right wing world-- they would most like to see as president and who they would least like to see. Obviously this is only among Republicans since the Nazi Party isn't viable and the Democrats aren't offering anyone to their liking this year. Their top 5 (in order): Newt Gingrich, the Republican drag queen, Mitt Romney, Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo (I guess some do think the Nazis have a viable candidate afterall). Write-in candidates who got enough votes to make the list included Conoleeza Rice and Jeb Bush.

And who do the right-winger loons hate the most (not counting Democrats)? Well, of course numero uno is the loathesome war hero from Nebraska who wants to stop the war in Iraq: Chuck Hagel. The haters hate Hagel... bigtime. But they don't hate him that much more than they hate poor senile, crotchety old McCain (even though McCain wants to send even more soldiers to die in Iraq than Bush does, though maybe not as many as Lieberman... Hey I wonder why Lieberman didn't show up on this poll as a matter of fact). Anyway next in line for scorn from the extremist right are Pataki, Tancredo and Brownback.
