BEFORE THE LAST BALLOT WAS CAST OIL PRICES HAD ALREADY STARTED CLIMBING

>

One of the many ploys that the criminals who operate the Bush Regime tried in the run-up to the elections was to drive down the price of gasoline so they could lie to suckers who still listen to their crap and say "See our policies are working!" What policies? To rip off consumers and taxpayers to the tune of billions of dollars? That's a policy? Anyway gasoline prices started dropping just as Democrats, especially in rural districts, started making a campaign issue out of the high cost of energy. The prices bottomed out last week and... lo and behold, they're on the rise again. Surprised? You must be part of the hard core faith-based constituency, the 30% who still believe what comes spewing out of these crooks and liars.

Within hour of Bush, Cheney and all the rest of the clowns no longer needing their allies in the oil cartels, both domestic and foreign, to hold down the price, prices started back up towards $60. The new Democratic-led Congress will have its hands full investigating American Cheney energy policy, especially as the Republicans are leaving us on the verge of recession (last quarter's pathetic 1.6% growth in GDP says it all, even beyond the collapsing housing bubble). Bush's trade deficit will hit another record this year-- that's one thing that's been stable about Bush year after year. And, needless to say, the Republican budget has been completely out of control for half a decade-- doing exactly what Grover Norquist has been aiming for-- strangling any hopes for a government of the people reaching out and helping people in any way whatsoever.

This is one of the issues Dems plan to investigate. At least that is something.

Joe Scarborough is already attacking Dems for hating Bush. Need we remind him of his question; Is Bush an Idiot?

It would not take much to make his ratings suffer again while allowing Keith Olbermann's to climb or stay up.

It is time for MSNBC to get a few new political analysts who more closely match the new political reality.

So, DWT, let's try to track which states go up fastest. I'll bet they're the states least red AND least corporoDem friendly.
