ANOTHER REPUBLICAN SEX PERVERT RESIGNS IN DISGRACE AFTER EXPOSURE

>

Garden variety Republican sex pervert resigns after the FBI finds kiddie porn in his home

How do can you tell if a Republican legislator is a pervert or not? No, not because he's breathing; don't be a smart-ass. Usually it's the ones who scream and shout the loudest about perversion threatening the American family who are the guiltiest of whatever it is they're obsessing over. You would probably win some good money by betting that anti-gay maniacs like Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Larry Craig (R-ID), Patrick McHenry (R-NC), Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), David Dreier (R-CA)-- to name a few-- are gay themselves, very gay, albeit tightly in the closet of course, where Republican gays always hide and lurk. Their consistent activism on behalf of bigotry against gay men and women is a clear sign that they have something to hide about their own lives. Speaking of which...

Unless you're from Maryland, you probably never heard of anti-child porn crusader Robert McKee, a long-time right-wing member of the House of Delegates from rural Washington County in the western part of the state. According to today's Washington Post, McKee, one of the Maryland leaders of the Romney for President campaign, has abruptly resigned today. Easy to guess that McKee, who also resigned as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, is a child porn fiend.

Law enforcement authorities, both the FBI and county sheriff's office, who are conducting a child pornography investigation, seized two computers, videotapes and printed materials when they searched the Republican's home in Hagerstown 2 weeks ago.
"For me, this is deeply embarrassing," McKee said in a statement. "It reflects poorly on my service to the community."

You think? McKee was sponsored Maryland's Child Protection From Predators Act and a proposal to collect DNA samples from sexual predators. He also sponsored several other sexual offender and child abduction bills in the past. None of the reports coming out of Maryland so far have indicated whether it was little girls or little boys-- or both-- who the Republican was interested in. He's been very active in the Little League and, predictably, was a chaplain for the First Christian Church, a position Republican child predators often use to seduce young children.

Good point libhom. What is perverse is the hypocrisy of their public protestations to people who are gay. McKee however, is most certainly is a pervert. There's that compassionate conservatism we all know and love. The thing that is even more devastating is that there are people who have made an industry out of exploiting and hurting children. It makes me sick in my heart to know that this is allowed to happen. Lets hope that there are good FBI agents out there who will do their level best to deal with this problem at it's root.

libhom, you're right. I slip and do it a lot. What I always mean to say is that hypocrites to who hide their homosexuality by loudly victimizing gay people are perverts. I sometimes forget that not everyone can read my mind. Thanks for pointing it our!

Neocon hypocrisy is a cliche. Suffering from paranoid projection is the primary prerequisite for being a member of that party.

I didn't link the two statements together any further than as an illustration of right wing hypocrisy. The louder someone yells, the more likely, it seems, they are covering for their own issues.

i won't hold my breath waiting for you to blog about the lefty talk show host from SF who was busted for child porn. everyone knows it's only news when a righty gets caught with it. i guess it's just expected from libs...

James - the point is these people call for the heads of those who practice exactly what they are practicing on the sly. Like Larry Craig who has tirelessly worked for legislation against homosexuals, but he is in fact a practicing homosexual himself. Did the talk show host do that? What is the name of this alleged talk show host?

Yet another christian gets caught with kiddie porn.

When are people going to stop believing the lie that "religion makes people moral"?

I guess he figured that once all the predator were all in jail he could have all the little kiddies for himself.

I'm just waiting for the person who wants to "focus" on gay people to be exposed. He is also one who is too worried about gay people - he has to be a closet gay.

I don't think Bernie Ward was caught with a computer full of images. He is charged for sending one or two forbidden images by email. He may not be innocent, but certainly Bernie was never a rabid crusader against any group or life-style except that of the "pick up your crayons at the door" fundamentalists (of any stripe). LOL....but we also notice that nowhere on this blog is Carl Stanley McGee mentioned.

Probably because the people here don't want Democrat definitions of traditional, religious, and monogamous to be shown.

Looks like the liberals who whine about Republicans being perverts are projecting their own problems with being unable to keep their hands off children.

Um, North Dallas thirty...

The reason you don't see the first guy mentioned is this (from the article you linked)

"Carl Stanley McGee, 38, assistant secretary for policy and planning, is scheduled to be arraigned next week for sexual battery in Lee County, Fla. McGee helped draft Patrick's casino bill, life sciences legislation, and his plan to bring broadband Internet service to the farthest reaches of the state."

See, now, he helped draft a casino bill, life sciences legislation, and broadband internet bills. The point of the article that is being lost on you, so obviously, is the hypocrisy of the loudest opponents to something in politics are often the ones doing it. It would be comparable if this guy were arrested for .... um... joining an anti-broadband internet activist group?

If you're going to accuse the writers of this blog of being selective for not starting to list ALL of the politicians (and their aides, and their interns, and their relatives) who get arrested for sexually related crimes.... oh my god, we'd be in for a really long list. Why don't you get started on that?

Secondly, I have no problem at all with people reading the NY Times article about the two gay men getting married. good for them. More people should read that article and understand that loving and committed couples are just like everyone else.

And by the way, did you not even read the article about the gay men and their fully accepting families? The families identify as republicans (the point cutely makes for them as the "omg, he's a democrat" crisis, rather than "omg he's gay" crisis) - which makes your linking them with the "Democrat definitions" tag rather hilarious.

Perhaps a course in reading comprehension would help you? Maybe a literature course, too - might help you understand the point of other's writings, like the fact that this is being brought up is the HYPOCRISY involved - not solely the crime.

For all have sinned and fall short. Romans 3:23 I will not elevate myself by judging this man, he is held to a higher moral standard given his position. Forgive me Lord for not remembering this brother in prayer, use this situation to bring about a Godly humility within all of us, because so many of us say I will never do this, but only by your grace can I not give in to temptation.

This is certainly typical of the neocon leadership in this country!

Karrie, a question; did you miss this part?

He was instrumental in the movement seeking to defeat efforts to overturn legalization of same-sex marriage, serving as director of the civic and business outreach efforts of the advocacy group MassEquality.

Next:

More people should read that article and understand that loving and committed couples are just like everyone else.

Tell me, Karrie; do you and your fellow liberal gays and lesbians really believe that monogamy is this quaint relic that you don't need to follow -- or is it normal for gays and lesbians to sexually assault underage children as part of their "love and commitment" to each other?

Hi guys I think :
The first official party convention was held on July 6, 1854 in Jackson, Michigan. The Republicans' initial base was in the Northeast and Midwest and the party solidified its position as the second party with the nomination of John C. Fremont in the 1856 Presidential election. Early Republican ideology was reflected in the 1856 slogan "free labor, free land, free men.""Free labor" referred to the Republican belief in a mobile middle class that left the workforce and set up small businesses. "Free land" referred to Republican opposition to slave labor. The Party had the goal of containing the expansion of slavery, which would cause the collapse of the Slave Power and the expansion of freedom. Lincoln, representing the fast-growing western states, won the Republican nomination in 1860 and subsequently won the presidency. The party took on the mission of saving the Union and destroying slavery during the American Civil War and over Reconstruction. In the election of 1864, it united with pro-war Democrats to nominate Lincoln on the National Union Party ticket.
