Before you look at the MSNBC interview with the confused writer, you might be interested in knowing that Sam Stein over at HuffPo, says Taranto isn't alone-- and these people are actually trying to be serious! And look, Cheney may have a lower favorability rating than Paris Hilton among Americans, but he's still beloved by 64% of the teabaggers, sociopaths, birthers, racists, paranoids, dead enders and religionist fanatics that make up the Republican base.
