Not Just Another "Gay" Republican-- This One Was Molesting Young Boys Who Went To McCain Rallies

Another GOP child molester is arrested-- out on bail

In high school you usually knew who was secretly gay because they were the only ones who were always yelling and screaming anti-gay stuff. In real life it can be the same way. Many people in one of Virginia's most conservative congressional districts-- home of all the neo-fascist "universities" run by right-wing "churches" from which Bush drew the fake lawyers to populate his regime-- were shocked when anti-gay fanatic Congressman Ed Schrock was outed by Mike Rogers at BlogActive. How is it possible that a gay-hating stalwart like Ed Schrock, a former investment broker and then presidnet of the congressional Republican Freshman Class in 2001, could be caught red-handed soliciting anonymous sex acts from young men? After the hysterical denials, he resigned from Congress to spend more time with his wife and children.

North Carolina wingnut Rep. Patrick McHenry has a far more sordid scandal, that includes some unexplained dead bodies of high ranking gay Republicans, that will break one day. But the history of the modern Republican Party cannot be written without a chapter or two on the loud anti-gay bigots-- from Larry Craig (R-ID), David Dreier (R-CA) and Ted Haggard (R-Religionist Nut) out west to Jim McCrery (R-LA), Bob Allen (R-FL), Joey DiFatta (R-LA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in the Deep South-- being outed and then making their excuses on TV as their lives fall apart. The latest in the series is a Republican political consultant and former Colorado official in the John McCain presidential campaign, 52 year old Jeffrey Claude Bartleson. He's not gay; he just likes molesting young boys-- even as young as 5 years old. It was easy for him to find teens at McCain rallies because... well they stood out in the "crowd." I can just imagine him offering some brainwashed young Ann Coulter fan a backstage pass and a chance to meet McCain in person for a little... consideration.

He faces at least three counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. He was arrested Jan. 29, released on $150,000 bail and arrested again Wednesday on two additional warrants. His next court hearing is set for Feb. 23. "We still have people who are coming forward," said Sgt. Brett Wilson, of the Pueblo Police Department special victims unit... Wilson said the alleged victims so far have been boys under 16 years old. The oldest case dates to the 1980s, and the most recent happened last year... When some of the boys showered in the downstairs bathroom, Bartleson allegedly videotaped them through an outside window.

Tony Perkins is a lunatic fringe religious fanatic-- and a probable GOP primary candidate for the Senate seat held by extremist David Diapers Vitter (who he sees as a sick and demented pervert unfit to serve in public office). But he's still angry at the Republican Party over Mark Foley. I wonder how he feels about Mr. Bartleson using his capacity as a McCain campaign official to molest a five year old boy. The Denver Post says the Republican serial child molester was well regarded in the crazy little right-wing community in Pueblo, where he helped run the local GOP. I asked DWT Art Director Adam Fox to find the Bartleson videos on YouTube and instead he sent me all these crazy Gay Chicken videos (Republican type straight boys making out) and the one below that makes me wonder why Republicans prefer this to gay marriage... but to each his own. I don't know many Republicans and, like Cher, I can't understand what makes them the way they are.
