You can tell a lot about people by their tattoos-- like how utterly insane they are. Maybe Roger Stone should have just flashed his back to the court room and played for an insanity defense. Who knows? Maybe he has other tattoos, too!

Never-the-less, it's too late now. On Friday, Roger Stone was found guilty on all 7, count, 'em, 7 counts of witness tampering, obstructing Congress, and 5 counts of lying to Congress. Only the punishment remains in doubt. He stands to go to prison for 20 years or maybe more. That would be nice, if it ever happens. The aptly named criminal justice system is notoriously lenient when it comes to white sleazebags. I'm sure Godfather Don Trump would love to pardon him, but maybe only if Stone replaced that ugly tattoo of Nixon's face with one of his. Then there's also the very real possibility that Stone could quickly meet the same fate as another old "friend' of "The Don," a friend named Jeffrey Epstein.

So, it looks like Roger Stone might be the next of Trump's cronies to end up in jail. Michael Cohen is already in. So is Paul Manafort. Stone can take some solace in the fact that he beat Rudy Giuliani and his boss to the pen. The sad thing is that maybe both Roger and the nation wouldn't be in this predicament if our so-called justice system had made a chilling example of Tricky Dicky and thrown him in jail for the rest of his life back in '74.
