Howard Schultz is a billionaire who hates Trump and who thinks-- or formerly thought-- that those two conditions entitle him to be president. His campaign was a stinker from day one-- although he managed to make a whole bunch of greedy political operatives much richer in the process. In breaking the big news that he's not running as an independent, the Washington Post noted yesterday that he told his small cadre of supporters that "he found it tougher than he expected to capture the attention of moderate voters and that he didn’t want to risk reelecting President Trump... [His] decision, after spending months away from public life because of health issues, will come as a relief to Democratic leaders, who feared an independent candidacy by a self-funded billionaire would hobble their eventual nominee." Schultz said he wants to see another conservative shitbag like himself, Status Quo Joe, become president. Big surprise!
Before crawling back into his platinum-lined hole, he said, "I will spend this election cycle and the years ahead supporting bold and creative initiatives to transform our broken system and address the disparity of opportunity that plagues our nation," presumably making it easier for the very wealthy to buy elections rather than being forced-- oh, the indignity of it all-- to go through grubby stand-ins like Biden.

what he found is that there ARE NO moderate voters... who vote.
There are virulent Nazis who always vote and worship trump from his fat toes, through his magic mushroom to his bleached muskrat on his bald head.
There are hapless brain dead flora who always vote for whatever burning bag of dog shit the DNC lays on their porch.
There are, of course, maybe 75 million who could vote but don't. and coffee guy is pretty much loathed among them because he's a more obvious corporate lackey than even biden. If they hated trump that much, they'd choke down their bile and vote for the burning bag of dog shit (biden).
so it goes. America is faced with another (the 11th in a row) choice between a Nazi and a burning bag of dog shit. Even starbucks money cannot crowbar the mutant hordes from their favorite tribal chiefs. Even in a quasi-democracy, voters are impotent to choose their own government. They abdicate to the money and hatreds.
Can't collapse into that massive sink-hole soon enough.
