I wish so much that Hunter S. Thompson was still alive and writing today but, very sadly, his words still fit our current culture all too well. In fact, the Kingdom Of Fear has metastasized and grown exponentially.
I also wouldn't mind seeing a truly left candidate dispense with the banality of pointless politeness and speak truth to power like he did, and do it from a debate stage live on prime time TV. The apoplexy of the rabid dog media and their political cohorts would be a shit storm to behold. Alas, no matter how bad things get, that candidate never appears.

Amen, Noah. You Midnight Meme of the Day is the first thing I read each morning.
If Hunter S. Thompson were alive today, he'd be saying much the same things about democraps and THEIR voters too. Much like Matt Stoller, as you've astonishingly posted.
Of course, if he did, you may not be quoting it here. Doesn't serve to reinforce the half lie that you promote.
The question "who votes for this shit" is perhaps the most poignant part of this.
The answer is: everyone who votes for Nazis and democraps votes for this shit.
Ah, Mr. Democraps showing his lack of reading comprehension again! Or maybe he just puts it aside so he can further his "look at me I'm the only one that knows anything" agenda. Thompson's contempt for both parties was clear when he was alive so there's no reason for the first sentence of your "insight." In his second paragraph, Noah makes it clear that he despairs when it comes to the democrats and his contempt for not just republicans but them as well has shown itself here for years. Sorry if if doesn't suit your need to whine anyway. Kudos to Down With Tyranny for letting you express your right to free speech.

We all know who the "crap" person is commenting and whining on this blog with regularity. Thanks to Langley and Roberts for defending DWT whose blog we read because we feel that it has value. Obviously "crap" does not, so I always wonder why "crap" doesn't just go and commit suicide since everything in "crap's" life sucks.
Noah and the rest of DWT do despair the democraps.
But they always collapse into a heap and tell everyone to choke it back down and vote blue... don't they?
