Trump now has his dream Attorney General, William Barr, a cloying sycophantic consiglieri who has chosen to serve Trump rather than the Justice Department or The United States Of America. Barr was a key player in the Iran-Contra Coverup and strongly supported the pardons that, in effect, ended further investigation back then. So, we can expect Trump to start issuing pardons soon. Whether or not they have the desired result for Trump remains to be seen but they will add another dimension to this Russo-Trump clusterphuck. Barr's first move, four pages of agenda-mongering cliff notes, amounts to attempting to turn the Mueller report into a modern day Warren Commission Report, a report with a pre-determined outcome as its goal.

Meanwhile, another one of Trump's Republican capos, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has just blocked a Senate resolution to release the Mueller Report. If their boy Trump is so damn innocent and "exonerated," you would think they'd print up a few million copies and sell it to raise campaign funding for 2020.

This coverup is growing and growing by the day. It is metastasizing like the cancer that it is.
