Midnight Meme Of The Day!

>

by Noah

One of the things that irritated me about President Obama was that he always played too nice. He has that civility gene that I have little time for, especially in times like these. When, in 2016, he followed dumbass Washington protocol and notified Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of intelligence findings that Russia was meddling with our supposedly cherished democratic process of election, McConnell buried the info. No hearings. No emergency actions. Not even a press statement. All McConnell did was smirk his Mitch the Treason Turtle smirk and go count how much laundered Russian money he and his Republican fellow travelers were raking in from the NRA. If this were a 1940s movie, you'd see the scene where McConnell receives the top secret file and tosses it into his fireplace. What did Obama do in response? Nothing. It might as well have been Obama's Neville Chamberlain moment.

And here we are: McConnell not only assisted Putin in getting the president both he and Putin wished for; now he is conducting the shutdown his Manchurian president proudly composed. We now have a president who has the double whammy of being both mentally ill and being an obvious Russian asset. While everyone is talking about the president, there isn't much talk about McConnell and his nest of fellow assets. Every single one of them who took the laundered Russian money and acted and still acts according to Vladimir Putin's wishes to destabilize America further into a dysfunctional mess would go on trial in that same 1940s movie I mentioned. I even see a wall, a wall for a firing squad. But that's only a movie.

I rather liked your obamanation = Neville chamberlain analogy.

2 problems:

1) only maybe 5% of americans know who Neville chamberlain was and why the analogy is apt.

2) that analogy can be just as applicable to Pelosi, hoyer, Clyburn, scummer (and at least 250 more democrap congresswhores), biden and every single one of the current slate of projected democraps seeking the 2020 nom.

3) there were so many of those 'moments'... when you run them all together, you get 8 years worth of Neville chamberlain-ism. As for the party, it's been nearly 4 decades of chamberlain-ism.

maybe we can rename the democraps to the chamberlains.

In support of 1:55, there was a survey taken recently of Americans and Canadians. One question asked Canadians about Nazis in the US, and something like 47% felt the US if full of Nazis. Americans were asked a similar question about Nazis in the US, and 51% thought the Nazi elements were growing.

BUT< . . .

"The results of the U.S. survey sparked alarm, including for the finding that two-thirds of American millennials did not know what Auschwitz was. Americans as a whole did not fare much better, with 41 percent being unable to identify the Nazi prison camp.

"As it turns out, Canadians’ knowledge of the Holocaust is not much better. According to the new survey, 52 percent of Canadian millennials and 49 percent of all Canadians could not name one Nazi prison camp." [Source]

The survey was conducted by the "Azrieli Foundation and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany". I guess Israel might be worrying that their military handouts from Uncle Scam are at risk and want to take another run at Germany?

That aside, when our nation is being subverted and dismantled by people just like the German industrialists who paid the NSDAP to take over Germany, it is very much a useful thing to ensure that the people about to be subsumed know nothing about history so they don't notice the parallels.

I'd say that these wealthy bastards have been quite successful.

1:55 and 2:55, you two are really something. 1:55 especially never fails to amaze us with all in his OCD straining to find anything, anything at all to say about any post, especially negative or obvious. It's hey, look at me day after tedious day! It's like watching Rudy or Trump running for the camera. The cartoon is about Obama and McConnell. Therefore, so is what Noah is writing about. He isn't writing a book but I'd buy it if he did. Maybe you guys don't get what memes are. Hint, they aren't books. They are just quick sound bites. They don't require a blowhard critique. Get it? They don't demand blabbing on about related history that's been covered in other Down With Tyranny posts. Noah has used the Chamberlain comparison to Obama and Dems for years and I'm sure he's glad you like it so why do you go on about it other than as your continued cry for attention? Maybe you'd be happier writing book reviews. Maybe you should just start your own blogs and knock yourselves out. 2:55, your mention of the polls is great but not at all shocking. Polls of today's college kids indicate that more than half of them think the Civil War happened in the 1930s and most people can't even tell you who the VP is. How did I find that out? I read it on this blog. Here's hoping a few readers would google Neville Chamberlain if they don't know who he was but I wouldn't put money on it. I doubt the people at Down With Tyranny would either. This site doesn't seem to be for Beavises and Buttheads anyway so your point is well taken but useless.
