Unlike the creator of the above cartoon, I'm not so sure that a psychopath like Paul Ryan would think Trump shooting someone on 5th Avenue was at all unfortunate. Judging by his political career and what he has stood for, he might even criticize his boy Trump for only shooting one person. His record shows that he has no problem with mass shootings, after all. McConnell might say the same if his wife wasn't a member of his idol's cabinet, but he's always kept his cowardly silence when it comes to Trump. He'd just reach in his pocket and pull out a card that says "thoughts and prayers" and mouth the words. In any event, their "Country Last" agenda would proceed.

The bigger questions would be about what was going through our sadistically insane Manchurian president's mind as he did it. Did he view the person he shot as all of America? Very likely. But, maybe he saw the person he shot as a female African-American reporter. Or did he just hear Putin's voice in his head telling him to "Do it. Just pull the trigger, kill America and you can build your hotel in Moscow." There will be no way to know for sure, since he will contradict himself in a series of post-shooting bizarro world tweets.

Meanwhile, we just wait and do nothing.
