I woke up this morning to find that the above meme about republican attitudes toward rape had been removed from my personal facebook page. I guess someone at fb objected to people knowing this particular reality of what it means to be a republican in 2018. Not that I wasn't going to eventually use if as a Midnight Meme, but, I am retaliating right now by using the meme as a Midnight Meme in order to help give it a bigger platform than my fb page has. I'd love it if others did the same. Feel free to share away! Considering the Republican Party's disregard of the growing accusations against Brett Kvanaugh, there may never be a more appropriate time than today. As NIKE says: Just Do It!
Given the attitude of most republicans towards issues of rape, it was inevitable that they would nominate and vote for a serial sexual predator who would in turn nominate a suspect character such as Brett Kavanaugh. The Repug Party's misogyny is not just about Roe v. Wade. It is a complete philosophy of dominance and gleeful misuse of power. It's also worth noting that democrats dumped Al Franken in a heartbeat for far less serious accusations. The difference in the Kavanaugh situation is that Republicans see nothing wrong with the accusations leveled at their guy. For them, it's a lifestyle choice which they obviously embrace.
And here's a special bonus meme about Republican attitudes towards rape. I wouldn't want Mr. Donahue and his armada of raping priests to feel neglected in any way.
UPDATE: Bill Cosby
Bill Cosby just got his sentence today: Jail for 3 to 10 years. He denied all of the accusations against him but the truth came out eventually. Imagine if Cosby's case went to a Supreme Court that included a Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the accusations now directed at Kavanaugh prove true? How would Kavanaugh vote? Would the usual inner Republican racist lead him to decide against Cosby, or, would his sex predator self rule in Cosby's favor? Meanwhile, the entire Republican Party, from Trump and McConnell down, smirk at us all.

Still no democrat help out here in Oregon district two, but it's a meme. A good one at that.
At some point, Bill Cosby was worth a billion dollars. I'm sure that a black man's money is just as acceptable to a Republican as a white man's, provided the black man isn't in a contest with a while man over something valuable. For the right sum, KKKavanaugh would see things Cosby's way.
No irony in the fact that a rapist may soon be seated on the Supreme Court, who will vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, so that a woman who is raped by an animal like Kavanaugh will be forced to bear his child if the rape results in impregnation.
Did your meme mention that the democraps have been nearly mute on roe for decades while states have been quietly making abortions impossible to get?
Did your meme mention that the democraps led the committee in '91 that chewed up and spit out Anita Hill? And that the charman of that committee on that day ended up being our veep and is currently the 'great white hope' of the 'craps for 2020?
Or did it mention that DiFi tried to bury the letter from Ms. Ford so that this molester could be confirmed?

Do I think something is fishy about the timing of the Kavanaugh trial? You bet! Finally the Democratic party has learned how to play dirty and give the Repugs a lethal dose of their despicable antics. Malcolm X was right ... "By any means necessary."
Erik, I think this is another case, like the DADT and marriage equality... and Anita Hill, where the democraps only contribution was they failed to get in the way, though DIFI tried. note: biden tried and succeeded in spiking additional testimony and witnesses in order to get the black guy confirmed (and keep black voters from getting pissed that the democraps got in the way of their Nazi black guy).
They didn't fight dirty... they haven't even fought. All they did was kiss the butt of the good professor. But this kind of thing tends to get a life of its own, and today, unlike 1991, women were not going to sit by and let it go.
He's still about 95% likely to be confirmed... but the Nazi party will pay a price for it. That price, which women can be reminded of every election day, might be a gift that keeps on giving. trump may come and he may go... but as long as we have elections and kkkavanaugh is on the court, women will be reminded of who to blame.
What am I saying. That would require women to be smarter than the average American... they're not. And it would require someone to always remind them every 2 years... who's gonna do that... the democraps??
