Midnight Meme Of The Day!

>

by Noah

Lest we forget, Trump was not the first in government to be massively corrupt. It almost comes with the territory. The thing is, though, Trump is taking corruption to new heights in a massive way. He is pushing the envelope of corruption further and further than it has been ever pushed before. That's what happens when we let those who came earlier push the corruption envelope further than it had ever gone before their time. That's what happens when we let them get away with their corruption. Some other sleazebag is always going to come along in the future, take a look at the past as an example, and decide what they can get away with. Trump knows damn well that no punishment befell Dick Cheney; not for his financial greed or even his war crimes. To the criminal mind, that is known as permission. Hence Trump and his behavior. The biggest question that remains now is what happens if we let Trump walk free. Imagine what, or who, comes after that.

Proof that you actually read my responses... at least some of them.
Also proof that you are a sheepdog.

You see, you neglected to mention WHO/WHAT let all of cheney's crimes (yes, CRIMES) and corruption go unpunished... or uninvestigated... or un-everything.

The WHO are obamanation and holder. The WHAT is the entire democrap party.

cheney is guilty of torture and aggressive war. Both are punishable domestically AND at The Hague. His war profiteering is and was a violation of the same emoluments clause that the trumps (and kushners) are guilty of and were impeachable.
The anthrax crimes that killed people was traceable back to cheney and Rumsfeld, though Mueller (yeah, same one) managed to fail to do that. The powder was American DOD weaponized anthrax and could only have come from a DOD source... the DOD was Rumsfeld and cheney.

Whenever crimes go uninvestigated and unpunished, there is always someone who failed or refused to do that.

Anyway, nice meme. How about some perspective for a change? woof!

Yes, Obama is much at fault for what we are facing now. His stance was to let bygones be bygones, let Presidents get away with whatever they did and just move on. Was he thinking about any of his own actions, perhaps? Even if so, he was pathetically misguided because the Republicans would never follow the same unwritten rules - they would go after the Dems (and him) with whatever they could or even just make things up (e.g., Benghazi). Just look at how a blow job in the White House almost brought Clinton down, and Trump can grab women's pussies and cheat on his wives ad nauseum, no problem.

Obama should have:

1. Had a special prosecutor appointed to go after the Wall Streeters and bankers for the 2008 crash. This would have been huge and strongly supported by the American people. Obama protected them all and they all kept their huge profits, too.

2. Had a special prosecutor appointed to expose the lies and deceit, torture and black sites by Bush et al. in the Iraq war. While many Republicans would have pushed back, F..K them. We destroyed a country, killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi people, had many Americans killed and severely injured, wasted much of the American treasury to pay for this and lost moral standing in the world. And made Dick Cheney richer.

Obama could have lifted the veil of the horrors of the Republican party but he chose not to do so. So this is now what we've got. As much as I think highly of Obama in so many ways (his recent speech was terrific), in the rear view mirror he failed our country big time. If he had stood up for what was right when he had the chance, we would not be in this mess.

Let's not ignore that Nancy Pelosi failed to do her Constitutional duty to bring impeachment charges, declaring that they were "off the table" as far as she was concerned. Then she led the House into supporting the war crimes of the Nobel Peace Prize Winner with both oratory and large sums of money to pay for the Pentagon's expenditures.

If we ever had real war crimes trials, she'd be in the dock along with both Bushes, Cheney, the Clintons, Obama, and most of the senior staffs of the various administrations.

4:25. My take on Noah and your problem is this: 1) He spent about 8 years writing about Bush and Cheney and did plenty on the Clintons, & others. Like he says today, he just wants to remind everybody about what happens when we ignore crime. 2) Memes aren't meant to be books or essays. 3) I bet he doesn't give a rat's ass about what you think. I bet he thinks your comments say more about you than anything else.

Richard, please read the other 2 comments above.
I agree that Noah might not care a bit about my comments... except that after a while, his memes and other stuff contains the very ideas I keep posting. He might not give a flying fuck... but later he proves that I was right. cognitive dissonance?

The ultimate test will be if he ever posts that he's had the epiphany; the democraps have been too far gone for decades to ever reclaim from within or without... and he's decided to shepherd the true left toward something else... a true left revolutionary movement.

Yeah, he writes a lot of stuff about how awful the democraps are and how awfuler they are getting. Yet he still sheepdogs us to keep electing them so they can keep getting awfuler and awfuler. It's logically fallacious. And Noah ain't no fool.

So I conclude that he's willfully acting as a democrap shill to keep the true left voting for the other far-right party.

And my whole reply was about "what happens when we ignore crime", but also who ignores it.

And a tilted meme is pretty pointless.

If a sound bite is a clever-sounding snippet without context or clarity, then a meme is a clever-seeming idea-bite without depth or perspective.

I guess I'm just too old to appreciate today's low-cal, empty idea bites. I prefer my ideas to be fully formed, fleshed and validated.

trump knows the democraps let cheney go free and clear. trump knows the democraps will let him go free and clear.

We also know this... don't we.

4:25- Your ego is out to lunch. There is nothing new and enlightening about your pearls of wisdom. Be satisfied that you got 30 seconds of the attention you crave. Now back to your mother's attic with you until the next time you decide to show the world what a jerk you are.

Richard, is your real name trump? you write like he does. pointless ad hominem attacks, no substance and the implication that your hubris exceeds all others'.

You think I'm wrong? Refute it. Facts, figures, history, links... you know... like me... proof. I'm all tingly in anticipation.

But americans don't prove... they just bitch. right?

Hone, Obama is TOTALLY at fault for what we have now. Had he done his job, we would not now have trump. In fact, we'd probably have Bernie.

Yeah, he talks good. But "by their FRUITS shall ye know him"... eh?

In 4:25's mind, 4:25 is the source of all knowledge and ideas. He has the best words. In 4:25's mind, 4:25 gave Bernie the words for his speeches. In 4:25's mind, 4:25 once had a beer with Tolstoy and gave him the idea for War and Peace. The question is that if 4:25 hates DWT, why does 4:25 spend so much time reading it and commenting on so many DWT posts? We know the definition of insanity. Enjoy the attention you wanted and are getting 4:25. Others may see it as an act of compassion. Only you can choose when that compassion turns pointless.

Rich, now I know your real name is trump.

Compassion is NEVER pointless.

I don't hate DWT (I don't even hate YOU). I have hope for DWT. DWT has the potential to become a catalyst for what this clusterfuck of a shithole needs to reverse course. But DWT both doesn't understand how dire the sitchie is nor perhaps their own potential for doing ACTUAL good. I'm hoping I can help the epiphany process along.

I don't have that many more years. But I have grandchildren who could potentially see the turn of the next century. I'd like to help leave them with a future that doesn't totally suck.

6:58, I think he meant that the compassion towards YOU was YOURS to turn pointless. With the way you act out, we can all see YOUR choice. I am just catching up on the last few days of Down With Tyranny posts and everyone else has probably move on. I'll stand with Richard.
