Marianne Williamson's Tedx Talk

>

Marianne Williamson has been traveling around the country speaking up for progressive candidates like Jenny Marshall in Winston-Salem and Laura Moser in Houston. Tonight she'll be helping Lillian Salerno in Dallas. And on Saturday afternoon, April 28th, she'll be in San Clemente with Doug Applegate.

Last month she did the talk above in Berkeley. This is how Tedx described it:
Making it her personal goal to break the norms tying society down, Marianne Williamson gives a moving talk on activism, empowerment, and the politically tumultuous climate. Marianne Williamson is an internationally acclaimed author and lecturer. For the last 35 years, she has been one of America’s most well known public voices, having been a popular guest on television programs such as Oprah, Larry King Live, Good Morning America, & Bill Maher. Seven of her twelve published books have been New York Times Best Sellers and four of these were #1. The mega best seller A Return to Love is considered a must-read of The New Spirituality. A paragraph from that book, beginning “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…” is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers.
Marianne is a powerful and righteous speaker. I went to a recent talk in Orange County and was blown away. I'm planning on going to the one for Doug Applegate in San Clemente. Meet me down there?

I wish I could be there to hear them both speak.

I'm reading Parker Palmer's book, "Healing the Heart of Democracy: The courage to create a politics worthy of the human spirit". In fact, I sent Colonel Applegate a copy a while back.

I do think Doug Applegate has "the courage to create a politics worthy of the human spirit".
