Americans Are Starting To Face Up To The Unpleasant Fact That Trump Lies About Everything... All The Times

>

This week a network radio host, a friendly liberal, asked me to be a guest on her show. In the invitation, she asked me if I believe there was collusion between Trump and the Kremlin during the 2016 election, mentioning her certainty that there was not. I told her that I believe it 100% and that it's my gut feeling and not my field of expertise and suggested if she does a show on congressional elections she get back to me because for now I'm just avidly watching Mueller's investigation and have no light to bring beyond what is publicly available to Putin-Gate.

Poll after poll after poll, for well over a year, has found that the American public is well aware that Trump is a liar and that virtually everyone on the national stage is more trustworthy than he is-- from the "failing New York Times" and all the TV networks to American law enforcement that he is always undercutting. Now a new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds the public-- by a broad 69% to 25%-- supports special counsel Robert Mueller’s initial thrust, to investigate possible collusion between Trump's campaign officials and Russian government attempts to influence the 2016 election. Support extends to half of conservatives and more than four in 10 Republicans. Backing for Mueller’s work goes further: Americans by 64% to 32% also support his investigating Trump’s business activities.
The survey also finds lower believability for Trump than for fired FBI Director James Comey, whose interview with ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos airs Sunday night in advance of publication of Comey’s new book. Americans by a 16-point margin, 48-32 percent, find Comey more believable than Trump.

The public, by a similar 14-point margin, 47-33 percent, disapproves of Trump’s decision to fire Comey. That’s even though Comey’s own favorability rating is weak: Thirty percent see him favorably, 32 percent unfavorably, with a plurality, 38 percent, having no opinion of him.

Partisanship informs many of these views. Ninety percent of Democrats and 70 percent of independents support Mueller investigating possible campaign collusion with Russia, vs. 43 percent of Republicans. (That’s still a substantial number within the president’s own party, notable especially given the Republican National Committee’s criticisms of Comey, including a website titled “Lyin’ Comey.”) Forty-two percent of Trump’s own approvers also support the Russia investigation by Mueller.
Thursday night, Illinois ex-congressman Joe Walsh, a self-described Tea Party Republican tweeted "I'm disgusted by the war that @FoxNews has declared on Robert Mueller. I'm disgusted by Fox doing Trump's bidding to destroy the reputation of a good man. It's wrong."

I haven't read A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership-- and neither has Señor Trumpanzee. Maybe he got someone in the White House to give him a one-or-two page version-- with pictures. Or maybe he's seeing all the TV coverage. This morning he exploded, referring to Comey as a weak and untruthful slimeball, sure to send book sales soaring onto the best-seller charts. Or perhaps someone read him the analysis from Politico, which emphasized that Trump is "untethered to truth"and that depicts his leadership as "mafia-esque." Meanwhile, CNN called the book "nothing less than the most devastating, contemporaneous takedown of a sitting president in modern history. Comey "painted Trump as a relentless liar who is obsessively unethical, devoid of humanity and a slave to his ego, who is clueless about his job and unconcerned about a Russian assault on American democracy. Jabbing the President in a strikingly personal way, Comey noted the size of Trump's hands, said his skin looked orange and described white rings around his eyes from tanning goggles. But Comey isn't just out to hurt Trump's feelings. He is on a more profound mission: His book is a parable about the threat from a brazen President who demands a warped concept of loyalty and has only disdain for the rule of law." Every American should be concerned-- very concerned.

Of course Trump colluded with the Russians and necessarily, the Kremlin, as Putin has his hands on everything, just like Trump is trying to do with the US government and all of our institutions.

Who is this "liberal" host, anyway, who is so sure this is not the case? Is her head under a rock?

Trump has been in with Russian mobsters for many years, and before that the true mafia. Hello!!! Even Michael Cohen is in deep with Russian criminals - his father in law, for one. Who knew Cohen was another associate of Trump's tied to Russia? This amazing fact just came out. Virtually everyone around Trump is tied to Russian. Even John Bolton, our new security maven - how ironic and frightening is this?

I only hope that the American people actually get to see and hear what Mueller is uncovering. I'll bet it will be a real shocker: how deep he is into corruption, conspiracy and money laundering Trump has been let alone obstruction. Will he wind up in prison even? I cannot imagine that we will ever get there but Trump may well deserve to be in an orange jumpsuit. At least he will appear coordinated color wise.

And yet, just a month or so, Republicans were still lining up to defend Tyro Orange. I'm very suspicious about the abrupt turn in allegiances. Have the Pussy Grabber's supporters decided that the tax bill is all they are going to get because they need to shift attention to saving their sorry-ass political careers? There is also the possibility that the Evangeliban are not willing to wait any longer to install Pence as caliph, and threaten to abandon Republican officials in their re-election bids. If so, this would make the Dumpster expendable.

So... this all begs the question: How miserably despicable does a "person" have to be before americans will NOT elect him president? I mean, could Bernie Madoff be in line for a presidential run?

Nothing about this guy is a surprise. Anyone who watched as much as 90 seconds of his teevee auto-fellatio show knows all they need to know. Anyone who watched him on his many appearances on E! or Letterman knows.

How then could this pos get the Nazi party nom? Wasn't just about anyone else that ran more palatable to the Nazi party?

And once he got the nom, how could ANY undecided or even nominally lefty voter decide to pick THAT? Sure, $hillbillary is probably worse. But why trump when they could have voted for Stein?

Americans cannot help themselves but prove PT Barnum and myself correct. You just cannot underestimate the intellect of americans nor, clearly, can you overestimate their capacity for pure evil.

Trump is even better proof than the likes of gomert, sessions, the kings, moore, Bachmann, palin, all the cheneys, bushes and a thousand others.

"How then could this pos get the Nazi party nom?"

Simple, really. Trumpsters are TV addicst, and Trump got more free television time masquerading as "news" than all of the other candidates of all parties combined. And, what TV time the others did get, they had to pay for.

Think of the "news" coverage Trump got as the equivalent of Goebbels' dictum that one only needs to repeatedly tell a lie until it becomes the truth.

1:43, they had a bush, a couple of known teabaggers, a skirt, even a black dude. All ran on the same shit except trump who ran on hate more than the rest.

But somehow the Christian caliphate chose that pos? Even after the pussy grabbing thing and the dozens of accusers of abuse to rape? With tedcruz and a couple of other overtly pious asswipes to pick from who DIDN'T have dozens of women accusing them of rape nor proudly boasting about sexual predation?

Reinforces my contention that Christianity *IS* all about hate and is NOTHING about Christ.

Anyone who would read the insane rantings of Saul of Tarsus with an open mind would come to those same conclusions. He corrupted what might *MIGHT* have been a decent religion with his ridiculous imposition of his hostile biases in so many ways. He was all "holier than thou" and not "love everyone equally."

4:57, because religions are human-created fictions that propose to let a few dictate human policy, NONE of them can be "decent".

Name any human societal construct that human nature does not turn into self-serving horseshit.
In every case, when allowed, they all become somebody's means to self-enrich while oppressing/suppressing others. US Democracy, capitalism, communism... they are all exactly like religions except they have us worship other deities (money, money, strong men who worship money in that order).
