This week saw more than one victory. The symbolism of Obama's election was not just breathtaking; it was something the entire world rejoiced in-- and something all "real Americans" basked in. And then there was the massive repudiation of the narrow-minded bigotry and reactionary politics that is today's Republican Party. America is not the "center-right country" this week's losers are still insisting it is.
