First Blue America Win Of The Night: Alan Grayson

>

We didn't want to scare away any moderates but this guy is one of the most forward-thinking progressives ever elected to the Congress from anywhere. With 111 of 164 Orange County precincts reporting, Alan has 55.36% of the vote, leading GOP lump Ric Keller 115,344 to 93,009.

Next door less special Democrat Suzanne Kosmas is killing corrupt idiot Tom Feeney, 60.46 vs 38.29%. Conservative Democrat Christine Jennings lost in FL-13 and it looks like Raul Martinez was as bad a bet for the DCCC as we warned them it would be. The odious Lincoln Diaz-Balart is winning re-election. Joe Garcia, however, is looking like he may beat the junior Diaz-Balart crook.

Oh, and Obama just had Pennsylvania called for him. McCain has no shot to win the presidency. Also called for Obama are Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Delaware, DC, and New Jersey

McCain won Oklahoma and Tennessee.

UPDATE: ANOTHER BLUE AMERICA CANDIDATE WINS

Just got off the phone with a friend in North Carolina and I found out that Larry Kissell beat Robin Hayes in NC-08.

More Blue America victories: Gary Peters and Mark Schauer, our two great progressives in Michigan. Bonus: no more Tim Walberg!!! And no more Chris Shays!! Jim Himes won.

Also Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01), our great incumbent, kicked Bradley's ass.

It also looks like Tom Perriello retired Virgil Goode, Jr in VA-05!

More Blue America winners:

Dan Maffei (NY-25)
John Hall (NY-19)

Now, if only Al Franken, Darcy Burner and Debbie Cook can win, I'll be supremely happy.
