Tonight's Inspirational Video-- The Michele Bachmann Antidote
>
Tonight the ugliest our country has to offer was displayed on Hard Ball and it came from Minnesota. Larry Long and Tania Hughes offer a very different and very beautiful vision of Minnesota as they sing for Minneapolis... and for our souls:
The outpouring from ordinary Americans at Bachmann's outrageous McCarthyite ranting brought her Democratic opponent, Elwyn Tinklenberg, $100,000 on ActBlue since she was on Hard Ball. Just 4 points separate the two candidates in the polls. Her loss would send a message to Republicans that Americans are not looking for a fascist solution to the country's problems.
UPDATE: $500,000
That's how much American citizens from all over the country have donated to Tinklenberg's campaign since Bachmann appeared on MSNBC. Democrats running against similar right-wing crackpots have been calling me and asking if I have a connection to get their opponent onto Tweety's show.

perfect!
REALLY GOOD! The power of song as they say!
By the way, I’m hard to spot but if you stop the action exactly at 3:23 on the You-Tube, you can see me, my daughter Meg and my new grandbaby Isabella (in bright pink). I’m holding the baby and the Obama sign right between the two PEACE signs. (The Vets for Peace guys on left are my friends. Andy is the Vet for Peace who gives the great comment about “war should be the last resort.”)
Anyway, it’s so good to be in the “Be the Change” positive one rather than the “Roll It With Johny” one which is wonderfully witty but not that positive.
I figured it might be good to post all my comments from now on under a new screen name: “EmbarrassedinMinnesota”. But these right-wingnuts are worse than embarrassments. It’s unfortunate that the Bachmann/Kline group-think has gone unchallenged for so long in Minnesota. Chris Matthews helped to expose it for what it is.
I never expected to send a contribution to someone named Elwin Tinklenberg in Minnesota, but Michele Bachmann spurred me to it.
