Jeff Merkley Wins First Senate Debate In Oregon

Last night Oregon's Bush rubber stamp, Gordon Smith, was so completely and utterly mauled by progressive Democrat Jeff Merkley that he confused Arnold Schwarzenegger with Sarah Palin in his small, narrow mind. Thirty second clip:



It's amazing how badly veteran Republican senators have been doing this week against Democratic challengers in debates. Wednesday in Tulsa Andrew Rice wiped the floor with clueless reactionary James Inhofe and last night Rick Noriega so flustered John Cornyn that Cornyn actually admitted that he stands for the status quo! At least he didn't lie. John Cornyn is the embodiment of what Bush wants in a U.S. Senator, someone who has rubber stamped every single misguided, catastrophic, half-assed proposal he made. The Senate-- and the country-- would be far better off without the likes of Gordon Smith, James Inhofe and John Cornyn. Do something about all three... here.
