THERE ARE MORE WAYS TO ASSASSINATE SOMEONE THAN JUST WITH GUNS AND PLANES-- TAKE THE MASS MEDIA AND BARACK OBAMA

>

What the right always fears most is a progressive candidate with charisma, who has the ability to connect directly and powerfully with voters. The Big Money interests can't handle someone who can go directly to the people without coming through them (and the mass media conglomerates they own and control). Perhaps you thought it was only a coincidence that detested right-wing political leaders never get assassinated but that assassination has been very effectively used against JFK, RFK, Martin Luther King, John Kennedy, Jr., and Paul Wellstone. Assassination by media is an even more widely used tool of the far right. They managed to destroy the presidential hopes of millions of Americans by manipulation of a speech by Howard Dean. Now look what they are doing to Barack Obama:

UPDATE: AND DON'T SMUGLY THINK IT'S ONLY FOX AND THEIR DUMMY AUDIENCE WHO PUT UP WITH THIS

A friend of mine just sent me this e-mail:
For 12 minutes, Hardball has been talking about Obama's pastor's statements, etc, using some other paster-- but during most of that time, the banner at the bottom said, "Obama's pastor problem."

Obama does not have "a pastor problem." The pastor of his church, who has no connection to Obama's campaign, said some things five years ago about Americas racism and its history that some people find offensive, but others would agree with, and Obama said he doesn't agree with them. End of story. But the banner says Obama has a pastor problem.

What the banner should say is, "America's mindless media problem" Or, "when will our media grow up?"

I wonder if right wing heads are exploding all over the Buy Bull Belt now with idiots trying to figure how a Muslim can have a pastor problem. Obama responded to all this slander at the Huffington Post today.

There are a few different groups of people and organizations that control the mass media, and the elections, and so there are varying interests between them.

I'm a bit surprised that Obama is getting such attention, but I'm sure it's all according to plan.

Obama is a CFR candidate, like McCain and Clinton. Any of them will end American sovereignty and and our constitution, so they must be attacking him for different reasons.

I think McCain is their most-desired candidate because they want someone who can and will strike Iran and start WWIII, as this will have enormous benefits to the mass media and our shadow government.

It's too bad that so many people don't care enough about their country to protest their phony elections.

As a member of Obama's age cohort, to me THIS was the most important statement about the pastor's comments that Obama made on Countdown Friday:

"Now, one thing that I do hope to do is to use some of these issues to talk more fully about the question of race in our society, because part of what we're seeing here is Reverend Wright represents a generation that came of age in the 60s.

He's an African-American man, who, because of his life experience continues to have a lot of anger and frustration, and will express that in ways that are very different from me and my generation, partly because I benefited from the struggles of that early generation. And so, part of what we're seeing here is a transition from the past to the future. And I hope that our politics represents the future."

This is what is so appealing about Obama and his message. We as a country need to move on from the 60s. We've had two boomer presidents that were each horrible failures in their own way. It's time to pass the torch again.

Who cares that Rev. Wright raged from his pulpit--that's his right, he faced discrimination of a kind that people my age can't claim to have experienced. And who the hell cares that Obama and some Chicago political sleezebag did a "land deal" that involved sharing expenses for a fence between their mutual property line? That's not a "land deal," that's what people do to keep their pets in and their neighbors out.

Obama has been in CHICAGO politics for years and this is the best sleaze they've got on him? Not impressed.
