OOPS-- A COUPLE OF VOTE REPORTING MISTAKES IN WASHINGTON STATE THIS WEEKEND

Luke Esser delivered for McCain-- but was it legal?

We reported that Obama won 38 of Washington's 39 counties, with little Douglas County in the center of the state going narrowly for Hillary. I was wrong. Obama actually won all 39 counties in Washington, including Douglas County.

... [P]arty leaders say someone misreported the results. The correct tally in Douglas County, according to state party Executive Director Jaxon Ravens, is 65 delegates for Obama and 37 for Clinton, completing the Obama's sweep of all 39 Washington counties.

"We had a lot of results coming in Saturday night and the person who took down the (Douglas County) results just transposed the numbers. We apologize that the information was misreported on the night of the caucus but we've corrected the error and it's not going to affect the allocation of delegates," Ravens said.

On the GOP side in Washington, the problem still hasn't been resolved and today Mike Huckabee compared the Republican organization in the state of operating like vote counters in the old Soviet Union. He claims they stole his win and gave it to McCain. And he's not letting go; he's pissed.

Huckabee's campaign released a statement saying that it will be exploring all available legal options regarding the "dubious final results." Arizona Sen. McCain was announced as the victor in the caucuses. Sunday, he had 25 percent of the vote; Huckabee had 23.8 percent.

The Republican Party Chairman in Washington, Luke Esser, is a longtime and well-known crooked dealer. And even far right propaganda sites are embarrassed by his latest shenanigans.

There are two possible explanations for what happened at the Washington State Caucuses on Saturday night.

1. GOP Washington state officials are a bunch of idiotic boobs who didn’t have a clue what they were doing.

2. A conspiracy was afoot to give the Caucuses to John McCain no matter what the final tally said.

Luke Esser and the Republican Establishment are in full cover-up mode. There is no way anyone will ever find out if McCain managed to ooze by Huckabee for a win Saturday. Esser released more data but many Republicans say he's just making it up now. According to his latest "count" (with 96% of the results in) McCain beat Huckabee by 292 votes (25.6% to 23.3% with Ron Paul at 21% and drop out Mitt Romney at 15%).
