LIEBERWHORE RATTLES HIS CHAINS AGAIN

See Lieberman go! Go Lieberman, go! Yes, go join the Republican Party, which you did in all but name long ago. Earlier the reactionary Neocon was on MSNBC pontificating about how he may well switch parties and endorse a Republican for president (presumably his best pal, McCain). I'm sure that leaves Democrats trembling. But it certainly serves the Clintons right after acting as enablers to Holy Joe after he lost the Connecticut Democratic primary and Bill (and his lapdog Rahm) poo-poo-ed the differnces between progressive, grassroots Democrat Ned Lamont and the corrupt, out-of-touch, Bush-supporting warmonger Joe Lieberman.

Bill Clinton, on Larry King, said it didn't matter which of the two won, giving the defeated Lieberman just the wiggle-room he needed to wiggle back into the hearts of low information voters, while Cheney, Rove and Bush signaled CT Republicans that Lieberman was their candidate. (In fact, today's Hartford Courant is reporting that in the last 2 weeks of the campaign Rove had big GOP donors pour over $1.5 million into Lieberman's campaign.) And they've gotten their money's worth ever since, as clueless and spineless Democrats watch Lieberman vote with the GOP on amost every important issue that comes before the Senate.

And Clinton and Emanuel aren't the only Democrats who undermined Lamont. Chuck Schumer, head of the DSCC, was the worst. Reid didn't fire him from that post as he sould have. Several reactionary Democrats even endorsed Lieberman after he lost the primary. The most ironic case is Mary Landrieu who is now going to lose her own senate seat largely because Lieberman, as head of the committee that should be coming to New Orleans' aid has decided to come to Bush's aid instead, leaving her high and dry and looking incapable of delivering on anything. I hate to see a Republican win that seat but I love the idea of Mary Landrieu getting what she deserves.

Other Democrats who ought to follow Lieberman into oblivion are CT State Democratic chairwoman Nancy DiNardo, CT Democratic Speaker of the House James Amann, and  the two-faced head of the CT AFL-CIO John Olsen.

CTBlogger caught the video of Lieberman doing what Republicans love him for: disparaging Democrats, undercutting their message with Rove's talking points. This is what they paid their filthy cash for.




SAY GOOD-BYE, JOE! (AND GOOD RIDDANCE TO YOU!)

This is Ken, piling on. I say, "Do it, Joe! Jump! JUMP! JUMP, you miserable, lying son of a bitch!"

One of the best reasons for doing everything posible to shove Unholy Joe the LIeberwhore to jump to the GOP is the likelihood that he'll never be heard from again.

For a guy who thinks he's the smartest thing since Bermuda shorts, the Lieberwhore is in fact a screeching asshole. He's so gullible that he thinks all those right-wing scumbuckets who've kept his career afloat like him, they really like him. Sure they do. In reality, they surely have even more contempt for him than we on the left do. Behind his back they must ridicule the self-important pile of puke even more mercilessly than we do. And of course on the right they hate him with the special loathing of bred-to-the-bone anti-Semites.

His Holiness imagines that we on the left want him out of the Senate because we're anti-Semites. In reality we want him out of the Senate because he's a self-important, war-mongering right-wing apologist whose entire political career has been devoted to dragging his home state and the country as far right as he can, dating back to his scurrilous campaign against the infinitely more progressive, honest and decent Republican Sen. Lowell Weicker Jr. Loathsome creatures of his like the monstrous Gerstein Thing can lie to their hearts' content about His Holiness being some kind of liberal. The fact is that he has always, ALWAYS run to the right of not only more decent but more liberal candidates.

No, the true anti-Semites are the right-wing loons who pretend to be Holy Joe's buddies, above all the ranks of what I call Anti-Semites for Israel, the righties who support the most poisonous elements of the Israeli political right--not so much because of the kinship of their extreme-right-wing views as because of their breathless anticipation of the Rapture. It never occurs to the Jews who feel "accepted" through the "friendship" of these people that their "friends," as they rise to salvation, expect to be sneering at their left-behind Jewish enablers: "SUCKERS!"

Once the pompous, dimwitted Lieberwhore is safely ensconced in the bosom of the Party of Hate, he is likely to discover that he's nobody at all--just another sanctimonious hypocrite spewing his fake-pious bilge. His only value to the Republicans was as a Democrat, who lent a veneer of legitimacy to their ideological savagery and rampaging criminality. Does the wacko hacko really imagine that there's a shortage of war-mongering, authoritarian thugs in the GOP?

The crowning irony is the possibility, if not likelihood, that those thundering cascades of corporate cash that have poured into His Holiness's coffers may taper off to a trickle. Sure, he's shown himself to be the most faithful of whores to his corporate masters. Still, they can't afford to shell out their hard-stolen cash on sentiment, and how much need do they have for yet another Republican whore? There's a lot more competition for all that corporate boodle among Republican suckers of the corporate teat.

But the most important reason why Holy Joe Must Go . . . to the camp of his ideological soulmates is that he will cease once and for all to hold Democrats hostage to his monumental, monstrous ego.--Ken
