KEN LAY, DUKE CUNNINGHAM AND BOB NEY ARE LAUGHING AT US

>

I'm going to stop thinking about tomorrow's election for a few minutes to remind you about George Bush's #1 election financier, Ken Lay. A friend of mine insists that Lay isn't dead but that an elaborate hoax was pulled off so he could be spirited out of the country. There was never an autopsy and the carcass was burned before anyone could determine if it was Lay or not. But whether he's on a private Caribbean Island or on Bush's new ranch in Paraguay, it's worth looking at his will.

You'll remember, of course how the lying sack he was married to was all over the television crying about how broke they were. "There's nothing left. It was all in Enron stock." I don't know who believed this but you would really have to stretch the definition of "nothing" when you consider an estate worth many millions of dollars. It pisses me off that the government can't seize the whole thing and use it as restitution for the employees and stock holders he plundered. It gets me just as pissed off as the idea that Ney and Cunningham will be collecting fat congressional pensions when they get released from prison. I mean these guys used abused their offices in order to wring bribes from other corrupt Republicans. Why should they be entitled to a dime of tax-payed-funded pensions?
