CHENEY HITTIN' THE BOTTLE AGAIN?
>
The new VANITY FAIR has an interview with Cheney and the only possible conclusion is that he was drunk out of his mind-- twice-- when he sat down with Todd Purdum. As is his wont, Cheney refused to answer most controversial questions in a straightforward manner. Example: when discussing Cheney's lesbian daughter's new book, Purdum asked if the #2 man in the Party that bases its electoral strategy on demonizing gay people thought gays are "born that way." Cheney gave him a "nice try" look and said "I'm not going to get into that." However, he did make some bizarre off the cuff remarks, the ones that make everyone think he was boozed up, about the wars he urged Bush to start in Afghanistan and Iraq.
"It’s not easy. It’s hard... It’s three yards and a cloud of dust. There are no touchdown passes here that suddenly we might like to see." (Gotta thank the good folks at RAW STORY for the tip-off.)

Or he is getting that fricking senile due to his heart trouble. I always wonder what the public thinks about heart patients who are that far gone. Do they think they are thinking clearly at all times?
Add to that a booze problem, if he has one. I hate to say it, but he reminds me of my dad when he had heart trouble, and kept a bottle hidden in the basement.
