Point 1) You know, you could go around some liberal gathering of young people and find a few vapid, clueless individuals and hold them up as examples of the movement too. You'd have to look a lot harder but you could do it.

Point 2) Why is it Tom Delay is a great believer in the markets except when it comes to low-wage labor? It's not that Americans won't take those jobs, It's that Americans won't take those jobs at the wages offered. If the market was allowed to work and those wages were to rise to the level they would find naturally then you'd have no problem finding folks to take them.

Their motto should be "We Don't Think, 'Cause We Don't Have To". I am struck by how dull-eyed and robotic they are in adhering to the talking points that they have been programmed with. The control chip from the White House has been firmly planted in their butts. It also amazes me how they appear to be exactly the same as college repugs from my college yeares, the 1960s, like they've been preserved all these years in amber. They were wrong then and they are wrong now. If only there were a way to stop them from entering the corporate world and doing more damage.
