After Trump is gone...

That day, that hour, that second can't come soon enough! In a moral and just country with a functioning justice system run by people who actually believed in it, Trump would be leaving the White House this instant in a jumpsuit that matches his orange face, followed by his whole damn family and all of the rest of the traitorous White House staff and administration; all being paraded to trial and sentencing. All would be made to shuffle along Constitution Avenue linked together with a weighted chain. Cage them all.

The sentiment of the sign is righteous but we must remember that history is written by the victors. Meanwhile, on one side we have Nazis who will stop at nothing. On the other side we have moderates who look the other way because, among other reasons, they have an aversion to confrontation and tension. They prefer quietude and order over justice. They are what I have always called Vichy Collaborators.

OK. That's it for tonight. I will now go back to dreaming of holding a giant pinata party with all of those I mentioned above as the pinatas and me with an endless supply of baseball bats and pointed sticks.

Since Republicans adore statues that symbolize racism, perhaps someday (the sooner the better) after Trump is gone and the usage of the Trump surname is as dead as a lost language, local Republicans in city governments could propose that this statue be erected in every town square as a memento of their Republican pride. Note engraved talking points that seem to come straight from the Republican Party platform while perfectly reflecting what passes for Republican logic.

Personally I like that the statue has more than the usual landing surface for pigeon shit.
