Today's meme is a "special" gem. It's total FOX "News" Channel bullcrap. I was in elementary school in the 1950s. We never had one iota of "firearms safety" instruction. No one I've talked to since FOX "News" spewed out this insane lie 4 years ago ever experienced such instruction in the classroom, regardless of what part of the country they were from. In my little conservative Republican town, we didn't even receive such instruction after a local 7-year-old tragically got his dad's gun out of a safe and shot and killed a 6-year-old playmate in the family living room, right in front of his other playmates, including the victim's sister. We did get the old "duck and cover" to protect us from atomic bombs though. Brilliant. The only firearms instruction I ever personally received was as a teen at summer camp and on weekends when I competed in target shooting, as an NRA member by the way. Maybe in a very few places around the country kids got proper instruction in their schools but such a thing was in no way, not even close, "standard curriculum" as FOX "News" would have us believe. But, that's GOP-TV for you.

That FOX "News" has always existed to warp perceptions of reality is a known despicable fact of this nation's history. After all, it's creator, Roger Ailes called it GOP-TV when he first presented the idea of FOX "News" to Richard Nixon. It was designed to mimic TASS and Pravda, the old Soviet state news operations (propaganda operations) that would tell the world, with a straight face, gems like Russia invented baseball and that those living in East Germany were much happier than those living in West Germany due to the glorious successes that communism had brought to East Germany. In fact, they often said, things were so good in East Germany that they had to build a wall to keep the rest of the world out. I was reminded of this in 2012 when, during his campaign, republican Mitt Romney visited a Chinese factory and stated that conditions for the all but completely enslaved workers were so good that the wall around the factory was to keep the onslaught of people who wanted to also work there, under the same miserable conditions, out. FOX "News" reported Romney's statement as truth. Why wouldn't they? -GOP-TV.

So now we have Rudy Giuliani literally spitting and drooling out his nightly lunatic ravings to the applause of brainwashed lunatics across America, cheered on, in fact, employed by the biggest raving lunatic of all, the big orange freak who wants to be president for life, all with the support of seemingly his entirely subversive Republican Party who, to a man and woman alike, run to the FOX "News" microphones at every opportunity that presents itself. Gotta reach those lunatic voters! -GOP-TV.

"Truth Isn't Real." That's the motto of GOP-TV. It's the opposite of "The Truth Will Set You Free" aka the motto of the CIA, adapted from the words of Jesus as stated in the Bible (Book of John) when he spoke of the power of learning, understanding and knowledge. So, it's no wonder that FOX "News" attacks the intelligence community in the service of Russia and any other enemy of America 24 hours a day. Hell, why not, FOX "News" attacks the very concept of intelligence period. And to think that Republicans will throw their own twisted version of the Bible at you at the drop of a hat, just like any Muslim terrorist would do with the Koran, such irony! FOX "News" will even attack the science that brings the airwaves of their bullshit into American homes. -GOP-TV.

Trump instead of JFK? Alt History President Trumps of the Past, #3:

Can you imagine Comrade Trump standing up to Russian Premier Nikita Khrushchev in 1962 and blockading Cuba when they were placing their atomic missiles 90 miles from us? Me neither. In fact, he would have said it was fine, as long as he could erect Trump Towers all over Russia.

Can you imagine The Diaper Don taking on the Mafia when they were on the verge of attaining a controlling influence on nearly every aspect of our lives? Me neither. He'd be partnering with the mob to build casinos, in more places than just Atlantic City.

Can you imagine Cadet Bone Spurs commanding PT-109? A war hero? Risking his own life to save his men in ocean waters coated with burning oil on the surface and man-eating sharks below? No way, he would have been insisting they carry him to safety and then insist they pay him for the privilege. Once on dry land; instead of then swimming out to sea again to seek help like JFK did, Trump would have started whining that there was no KFC in sight and he would have called the region's pro-American indigenous people rapists.

A few days ago, we presented Part 1 of this series but now our intrepid DWT Inter-dimensional Alternate Timeline Travelers have recently uncoverd a timeline where the Diaper Don got elected, just in time for World War II, instead of FDR. What could possibly go wrong? Maybe he'd even invite Hitler to the Oval Office and pass him the secrets to constructing an atomic bomb. Nah, there's no maybe about it.

What would Traitor Don have to say to Osama bin Laden in some alternate timeline, in secret 'one on one only' meeting? Would it be "Just don't fly any planes into my Trump Towers" or would it be something else; something to do with Kushner properties in Manhattan or Ivanka's shoe factories in China? Would Traitor Don just be treasonous enough to cover up for bin Laden by saying he asked bin Laden if he was behind the 9/11 attacks and bin Laden said no, so he believed him? Who would Señor Trumpanzee believe and support; our intelligence people or bin Laden? Would he send our military personnel to Afghanistan in an act of retribution, or would a new bin Laden-financed Trump Tower-Kabul be going up as you read this?

Step back and imagine a world where Traitor Don had been our president at other times in our history instead of right now. Why not imagine Trump as president back in 2001? After all, he had first thought of running for president in 1998 or so. Or what if the Diaper Don had been our president in 1980? Would he have wanted Russia to "tear down that wall" or would he have taken a different stance? What if Comrade Trump had been president in place of Bush, of Reagan, of JFK, or FDR?

The real present time "President" Trump is a bad enough "president" and even worse humanoid so we don't really need to wonder what Trump would be like if he had been our president at other points in our nation's history but, hey, it pays to learn from history, even if it seems to come from some other weird dimension that's every bit as weird as our own. We know damn well how bad Trump would be in another historical timeline because we're living in this one. Trump as a "president" in another timeline would be (and I don't mean wouldn't) just as frightening as the "President" Trump in our own horrific reality where Trump has repeatedly praised and embraced Vladimir Putin; even covered up for him and equated the character of our intelligence people with the character of Putin himself.

So, with all of this in mind, I present to you the first two in a series of "Alt History Pres. Trumps Of The Past" memes, because the reality we live in is so bad that it's at least a little comforting to know that other Americans, somewhere, sometime, may have shared our misery even before we did. And, of course, even in such alternate universes, FOX "News" is known as The Treason Channel. They wouldn't have it any other way (and I don't mean would).
