REPUBLICAN SEX PERVERTS IN ELECTED OFFICE UPDATE

>

Sponsor of Florida's Sexual Predator Elimination Act caught in some predatory behavior in a men's toilet

David Vitter is still hiding under his bed and refusing to talk to anyone. One of the prostitutes he's hired-- not for a quickie but for a three year stretch of infidelity-- told about the sweet relationship they had, although it did cause her to break up with her boyfriend. But she did say that she sometimes worried about Vitter's grotesque hypocrisy, even if he didn't. "Yow characterized the senator as a good man but said she was perturbed that he portrayed himself as a politician who would bring moral authority to his office when he was using her services on the side." Basically Vitter would like to say the pass he got from God for his transgressions regarding the DC Madam was a pass that covers all his decades of philandering with prostitutes everywhere. And, in case that isn't admissible in a court of law, he also points out that he had no ownership or managerial role in the Canal Street whore house he was frequenting. Oh, ok-- I guess that makes him eligible to still run Giuliani's campaign in the South.

Yesterday we mentioned that the North Carolina Republican lunatic who ran around his office with his pecker in his hand, chasing some poor legislative assistant while screaming she should perform fellatio on him had the decency to resign after just a week of prodding from fellow wingnuts who were embarrassed that his hypocrisy as a good Republican family man would rub off on their images as well.

But what North Carolina Republicans figured out was good for David Almond is apparently not what Florida's Republican Party loons have worked out in regard to their own wayward maniac, Rep. Bob Allen, a situation that is further complicated by the fact that he is the co-chairman of John "Gay Sweaters" McCain's Florida presidential campaign. The short version: McCain's man in Florida was soliciting sex from males in a public toilet-- a very very Republican activity; just ask Idaho Senator Larry Craig) when he wound up stalking a plain clothes policeman and offering him $20 in return for sucking on the law official's member. He was arrested and booked and is now saying he is innocent. PageOneQ has all the sordid details-- and they are sordid-- and a photocopy of the arrest documents.

On top of the gay sweaters incident Bob Allen's circus is proving to be a horrifying embarrassment to the little that is left of a John McCain campaign. Allen says he will not resign and that this whole incident is "ugly."
His attorney, Philip Lupo, said Allen would plead not guilty to solicitation of prostitution. The charge is a second-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in the county jail and a $500 fine.

Allen was arrested outside the men's restroom at a Titusville park after offering to perform a sex act on a plainclothes police officer, authorities said. He was later released after posting $500 bail.

Titusville Officer Danny Kavanaugh, who was staking out a nearby condo hoping to catch a burglar, said Allen approached him in the men's bathroom at Veterans Memorial Park about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

In an arrest affidavit, Kavanaugh said he had washed his hands and, finding the sink's paper-towel dispenser empty, had walked into a stall for the disabled to dry his hands. Allen first peeked over the door and then stepped inside, he said.

Allen proposed the two go across a nearby bridge because "it's quiet over there" and he would perform a sex act on the officer for $20, the affidavit said. They walked to Allen's car, where the officer identified himself and arrested Allen.

Reaction among Allen's fellow Republicans was cautious.

Rep. Mitch Needelman, R-Melbourne, said the allegations held "severe moral implications."

"For the foreseeable future, Rep. Allen needs to put his political career on hold," Needelman said. "I have concerns for his family."

House Speaker Marco Rubio said in a statement that, "The charge against Rep. Allen is serious." But because it's a misdemeanor, he added, a guilty verdict would not require Allen to resign. Asked in Miami about the arrest, Gov. Charlie Crist said, "It just seems sad and tragic."

Crist is also a somewhat closeted homosexual but, unlike Allen, he has not made a career out of victimizing gay people. Allen "sponsored legislation that toughened penalties for lewd or lascivious conduct and created a new provision that allows some sexual predators to receive life prison sentences for their offenses. Allen had dubbed the bill the 'Sexual Predator Elimination Act.'" Now that would really put an end to the Republican Party!

UPDATE: WILL JIM DeMINT BE NEXT?

Although at the moment the more racist of South Carolina's two far right Republican senators, Jim DeMint, is fighting it out with GOP closet case Mitch McConnell over who will run the Republican Senate caucus, he took some time out to worry about his ally David Vitter, like DeMint a xenophobic maniac.
Reacting to the revelation that Sen. David Vitter, R-La., patronized brothels and call girls, DeMint told Chad Pergram of the Capitol News Connection radio service, “I think all of us have to look at it and say, ‘We can be next. … This can be a very lonely and isolating place.’ I’m fairly surprised at how little it does happen.”

VITTER'S TROUBLES GROWING MORE BITTER-- AND ANOTHER REPUBLICAN LEGISLATOR GETS ARRESTED FOR SOLICITING (A MALE IN A PUBLIC TOILET)

>

Vitter never tried no monkey business with Harriet-- neither did Allen

This Vitter thing just doesn't want to go away. One of the Madams he was working with to procure women for him says he should be prosecuted (it is true that what he was doing actually is a crime) while another Madam says he "wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary" with her girls over the years (except that he was into a diaper fetish, just like Holy Joe).

The whole thing is certainly an embarrassment for the Louisiana Family Values Republican Party. Mike Cromartie a far right wing former chairman of the Commission on International Religious Freedom isn't taking this as lightly as Vitter's political cronies-- who all say, basically, "Well, if God has forgiven him, who am I to hold a grudge?" Cromartie's comment today was more in touch with a less forgiving branch of religionists: "It's the hypocrisy that people can't stand. It's not the fact that people are frail and given to sinful behavior. It's when they try to pretend to be morally upright and end up being self-righteous because they preach one thing and live another."

Preacher and GOP presidential contender Governor Mike Huckabee doesn't seem too proud to have Vitter's hypocrisy making a statement about GOP phony-baloneys either. "Many of us became a part of the Republican Party so that we could find a home for traditional beliefs regarding marriage and family and the sanctity of human life. If those things really don't exist in the party, then we have to ask, 'Why are we here?'"

One guy who is really embarrassed is Vitter's political protégé, Bobby Jindal, who has Vitter's old congressional seat and is currently running for governor of Louisiana. Jindal is in the same awkward position of so many Louisiana Republicans-- Vitter included-- who have been clamoring for William Jefferson to step down. Will they hold Vitter to the same standards?

The local papers seem filled with despair about the cesspool-like politics of the Bayou State. In Alexandria Town Talk summed it all up: "We've got a Democratic congressman caught with $90,000 in cash in his freezer and facing federal bribery charges, and a Republican senator caught with his pants down and facing a wife who... compared herself to the knife-wielding, libido-snipping Lorena Bobbitt. Welcome to Louisiana."

Meanwhile, up the road apiece the Republicans are having another sex scandal. This time it's Florida State Rep. Robert Allen of Merritt Island. The 48 year old Republican Representative was arrested today on second degree misdemeanor charges for solicitation for prostitution. And the twist is that he's a married many and was asking an undercover cop in a men's room if he could pay him to give him a blowjob. It's so GOP!

Allen was out for a little afternoon delight and got nabbed at noon in Titusville, Florida. "Officers say they noticed Allen acting suspicious as he went in and out of the men's restroom 3 times. Minutes later, he solicited an undercover male officer inside the restroom, offering to perform oral sex for $20." He was first elected in 2000 and lists "water sports" as a hobby on his official state website. He also uses a 10 year old photo-- a sure sign he's gay. The picture above is what he looks like today. The Christian Coalition loves loved Rep. Allen. Like Vitter (and Foley) and the rest of the Republican hypocrites, he was strong on the family values bullshit. In the last session of the Florida legislature, the Christian Coalition commends him for supporting their (extremist, hateful) positions 92% of the time. The Rainbow Democratic club also rates all the elected officals in the area. Allen? "Wicked Witch: Worst of the Worst."

There is a difference between Allen and Vitter. Vitter likes women prostitutes and supports the cross-dressing candidate for president. Allen's into the male variety and supports the most senile of the GOP contenders.

UPDATE: LARRY FLYNT SAYS STAY TUNED

He claims there are 20 more elected officials who he's investigating.
"If someone's living a life contrary to the way they're advocating ... then they become fair game," Flynt told reporters. "I don't want a man like that legislating for me, especially in the area of morality."

...The Vitter scandal has touched off new anxiety among Republicans over whether their party will pay the price for members who fail to live up to their moral principles. Flynt, an unabashed Democrat, acknowledged that the GOP provides him with easier targets.

"Republicans are more fun because they get caught so easily," Flynt said. "They've been living a repressed life all their life. Democrats are liberal - they wear it on their sleeve. Their sex life is what it is. They don't spend their whole life trying to cover it up."

UPDATE: CONSIDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE

Both Republican perverts, Vitter and Allen, are countering on the religious right to come to their defense. Regardless of how disgracefully the hypocritically they have lived their lives, both have served the interests of the charlatans who dictate thought patterns in that community. Allen's attorney actually told the media that "We would hope that everyone takes into consideration Mr. Allen's history of public service." And that would be, in both cases, a history of bigotry, divisiveness, and victimization of people whose sins were no different whatsoever than their own. Ah... today's GOP!
