Still don't get it? I'd say get out of your bubble tent but, the way things are going, living in an actual physical bubble (as opposed to the mental bubble too many people live in) with all mod cons may be the only thing that saves any of us, at least until the psycho Brian Kemps and Donald Trumps of the world forbid them.

5:39, The point you make is the pretext and context. Like 6:58 says, that's not a joke. The joke lies in the plot ploy the creator of the meme and the writer refer to and relate to today's world. It's a ploy that any watcher of the show knows well. It has become a touchstone of popular culture. Brush up.

Might I recommend that you grow a sense of humor so you might get the underlying Trekworld mechanism the meme is relating to? Were there not enough hints? There are two layers in the thing. Does it have to be spelled out to you? Are you that dense? Are you that detached from pop culture? As the writer and 8:47 said, Brush up.
