A few interesting and revealing factoids to go with the above cartoon:

1) President Pandemic has decreed that everyone he comes in contact with in his administration must be tested every day while he tells his red-hatted cult that testing is "overrated" and "not needed," and "get out there and re-open up America." That shows the level of contempt that he has for the people he has conned into voting for him and cheering him on. It's yet another instance of it all being about himself not those he dismissively thinks of as "others." He does this while saying that we have "beautiful tests" and "tremendous tests." In other words, the tests are generally for the elite and not the rabble, i.e. the rest of us. For us, he offers a crap shoot like the whole country is one of his bankrupt casinos, which it's about to be.

2) The psychopaths and sociopaths at FOX "News" and in the rest of the far right Trump media tell the same cultists that locking down and sheltering in place represent a theft of liberty and that the wearing of masks and social distancing are just plain stupid and for "liberal pussies" or the "politically correct." They tell their listeners and readers this while they are broadcasting, alone, safe and smug in isolation, in their own homes.

3) Even in a "be best" moment, our psychopathic president decided to suggest that states test people in nursing homes. He could have required it instead of making it just a "suggestion" which came with cynical permission, if not encouragement, to ignore. Same with our meat processing plants and everything else, except, of course, the people he personally might come in contact with.

"In This Together" means you, not them. To President Pandemic, six feet means depth underground not distance apart.
