2020 Money
>
Over the weekend, Axios reported that the RNC outraised the DNC-- and by a lot. "The RNC goes into the presidential election year with more than seven timesas much cash on hand as the DNC-- $63 million vs. $8.3 million. Mike Allen somehow forgot to mention that money that might have normally gone to the DNC went into the campaigns of the Democratic candidates instead.
So, while Trump raised around $165,000,000, all the Democrats running for president combined raised $718,000,000. So... uh, yeah, Mike Allen. Sorry to pop your little red balloon. It's also worth mentioning that this cycle the DCCC out-raised the RNCC significantly. Overall, the DCCC brought in $101,297,261 compared to the RNCC's $70,361,958. The DCCC has already spent $63,238,727 and has $43,674,030 cash on hand, while the NRCC has spent $58,636,508 and has $28,290,648. I wonder why Mike Allen didn't mention that in his story. Anyone want to guess? And while we're at it, let's look and who's raising the most money in the major open seat battleground Hose districts.
On a very tangentially-related matter, I was more interested in how Forbes rated the financial transparency of the presidential candidates that I was in the net worths of the candidates in a story they did called The Net Worth Of Every 2020 Presidential Candidate. Forbes listed them in order of net worth. Here's the list ignorer of most honest to most dishonest, at least in terms financial transparency.

• GA-07 (open seat)In North Carolina Republican incumbents are retiring at the most rapid rate anywhere in the county. Everyone should be delighted that right-wing clowns Mark Meadows (NC-11), Mark Walker (NC-06) and George Holding (NC-02) have all announced their retirements from the national stage. The Republican Party hasn't found viable replacements for any of them. NC-02 and NC-06 are out of reach for Republicans now that the state's partisan, racist gerrymander has been shut down by the state Supreme Court.

Spent it on what? It's not like the corporate media advertising blitz is on (most of which I will not see or hear as I avoid corporate media), nor has my mailbox been stuffed with useless campaign literature which goes straight to recycle. It looks to me like too many parasites have latched on and are sucking things dry while pretending to offer "useful" advice.
a lot of it goes to zuckerberg to run ads on FB. Some of those ads attack progressives. it's the new age of social (narcissism) media. or is that a social disease? Can't take an antibiotic to make us smarter though.
