Of course Republicans are proud, Noah. They are achieving a goal they first worked for with the 1934 coup attempt against FDR. They have the presidency, the Senate, and the courts in their hands, and the Democrats are working hard to return the House to their control. Once that happens, the purges can begin, and the modern version of the Brownshirts will be unleashed.
