Ever since he returned from England, Trump has been having strange dreams that disturb his easily confused mind. One morning he even got up and fired his pollsters when he didn't like what they were telling him. The news was like a bad dream. Now, he doesn't like what his nocturnal dreams tell him either. He's fearful, fearful of losing the 2020 election and having to deal with a transition team. Don't say 'transition' around Donnie.

he's not leaving. his transition team will be the 1st armored division acting as his praetorian guard.
I honestly worry about that idea. No one seems to be asking the military whose side they are one. From knowing a goodly number of young ex-military officers who were hired by my employer to be managers, they tended to be hateful authoritarians with a huge disdain for civilians even though they were also themselves civilians. All they know is the exercise of power and will brook no nonsense about "democracy" or any other expression of the public will.
If the military, especially the officer corps, is facing a democrap commander in chief, even someone with prior service time, they'll choose to back up their fuhrer. They crave a strongman leader, even though this one is a pretense of a façade of a cartoon strongman.
Looks like some readers have missed the double meaning that I see in this post. Just sayin'.
