Whether it's comets, asteroids, meteors, climate change, or pollution, paying the cost of saving the planet is relatively easy compared to doing nothing. Just go back to the tax codes we had a few decades ago. But, at the current tax rates, by 2033, we serfs will have several trillionaires that could pay the cost all by themselves. Of course, they will demand a very steep price in return as they zoom off to their Martian Mar-a-Lagos.
As for the goons of the GOP doing anything about the meteor depicted in tonight's meme, they will see that it's headed directly for Africa and smile.
